The town Hall, built in the classical style, appeared in Shklov at the end of the XVIII century. It is the main attraction of the city and a unique object for the whole of Belarus. The Shklov Town Hall was built in a traditional Belarusian form: the two-story base grew into a clock tower and a spire. However, this is still an exceptional facility, since only seven buildings of this type have been preserved in Belarus. The Town Hall and the adjacent shopping malls formed a rectangular courtyard. The entire building was renovated in 1999. Now the gymnasium is located in the historic building. It is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus.
