A real review! We had a rest on August 10-21, 2025. I know the field of tourism, not only as a tourist, but as a professional, i.e. from the inside. The hotel is actually 5 out of 5, the food is above all praise, the bar and reception service are excellent, the room cleaning is super (while we were having breakfast, everything was cleaned, refueled, cleaned, and ... we didn't need as much shampoo, soap, and gel as we were supposed to.....) We didn't even notice how quickly the cleaning was done. Our room was on the mountains (2nd floor), we wanted it that way; the rare trains did not interfere with our rest at all, there are no questions about the accommodation. Everything is fine. The beach: 🤔 Yes, the hotel administration needs to do a little work here (I wrote my comments at the hotel), but everything can be fixed; nothing coordinated, but there is something to do 😉 The location of the hotel in Staraya Gagra is at 5+++: Colonnade, park, promenade - everything is within walking distance ✌️ I definitely recommend the Ryda Hotel for relaxation A wonderful country with warm-hearted and sympathetic people * those who write negative things about the hotel are just strange people.... Although, everyone has their own opinion)

I will give five stars to this place of our vacation in July 2024. There is my review on Yandex.Traveling. We booked in advance by e-mail from the website. Saida's manager answered all the questions, offered several check-in options and a discount for an earlier booking. We chose the optimal one and were very pleased with our choice. We had a family vacation with a teenage daughter and parents. The check-in was quick as soon as we arrived, the room was spacious, wet cleaning was done right in front of us, as we had previously requested. The bathroom is clean, there is everything you need. The staff is polite, the reception staff, the dining room, the guy on the beach are trying their best. Well done! This makes the overall atmosphere in the hotel very pleasant. A separate comment on the work of the dining room: please carry on your hands and take great care of your cook. I have high nutritional requirements, so I thank you for high-quality, fresh, delicious food. I do not rule out the possibility of returning to the hotel, as I adore Old Gagra, and my parents are already planning a vacation here in June 2025.

We rested here from June 14 to June 26, 2024. The hotel is very cool! Friendly staff, the attitude is real as a guest, not as a walking wallet. With such a dining room, no restaurants and cafes are needed, believe me. About san.the atmosphere and the sea. Of course, we did not drink tap water, tried not to swallow water in the sea, often washed our hands and wiped them with napkins on the street. We have never been poisoned, no one has ever had a stomach ache, there were no rotoviruses and other things, including a small child. The sea was already warm, the weather was excellent. There was a storm for a couple of days, we just went for a walk, but otherwise everything is great. The hotel has its own "plot" on the beach, its own free umbrellas with sun beds and changing rooms. The beach is right across the street, literally a minute and a half and you're at the sea. The hotel is conveniently located: both in the city and at the same time away from all kinds of pandemonium. Yes, you need to walk 5-7 minutes to the nearest stall, but there are no heaps of cafes and restaurants where people will not calm down until the morning. The hotel has free wi-fi, the signal strength was such that it even finished off from the beach. In general, we liked everything very much. The next time we go to Abkhazia, we will only stay here!

We stayed in Ryde from 04.06-09.06, excellent hotel, the best value for money, good-natured, helpful staff, it is clear that they try very hard for the guests, cleanliness, beautiful territory, and even a Playground for children, which was a plus for us, since we arrived with a 2-year-old child.The location is good, the sea is across the street, nearby attractions. Today, September 18, 2025, we checked out of the hotel. We stayed for 8 days in building 1. Advantages: 1. The room is large, it is cleaned every day, cozy, air conditioning, Wi-Fi not only in the room, but also on the beach. 2. The beach is located next to the hotel, across the street. Sun beds and umbrellas from the hotel are free of charge. There aren't many people. The beach worker is always ready to help. There is sand on the beach and some small pebbles at the entrance to the sea. The weather was great. 3. The dining room is located in a separate building. Clean and tidy. The staff is polite and always ready to help. Homemade and delicious food. The choice is small, but everyone will find food to their liking. I would like to mention the delicious pastries and especially the cakes. There are always fresh fruits and vegetables. Red wine is served for lunch. Very good, homemade. 4. Nature is a big plus. There are no crowds. There are beautiful places for walking. The hotel is located in Staraya Gagra. The Colonnade and Gagripsh restaurant are within walking distance. All the hotel staff are friendly and the location of the hotel is good, the beach is across the street. The beach is always clean, there are umbrellas and sun beds (free of charge).The rooms are always cleaned, towels are changed and soap supplies are replenished. It's very nice to be here, quiet and peaceful. The chefs here are amazing!The food is delicious! The waiters do their job carefully, replenish the trays and plates with food on time, and as soon as you leave the table, they immediately clean up the dirty dishes (by no means in front of you). I recommend this hotel to everyone.Let's come back here again!

I've read a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I still don't understand...who says that the hotel is great and quiet here, and who says the opposite. I lived in the old building and in the new one. Of course, the rooms in the old building are already very tired and it's time to update them somehow. But that's not the point) The sound insulation in the old building is just terrible!!!!SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND there is a railway road and a roadway next to the hotel, but this also seems to be acceptable. Trains rarely travel, but it happens that it's very early, and the cars didn't interfere so much. But the music from the cafe across the street is just awful!!! She screams until 12 o'clock at night . The first night I couldn't sleep at all, I hardly slept. The old building has almost all rooms facing the sea, so you can forget about the silence! In the new building, take a room with a view of the mountains, if you want at least some kind of silence, if you take a room with a view of the sea, then you will find loud music from the Rusalochka cafe and constant sound from cars! The rooms are clean, cleaned as you ask. About the food. The food here is very tasty. The food is not greasy and there is always a variety, although there are not always enough places for everyone. The air conditioners here are also old in any building, but they can handle their work. In general, if I come back here, it will only be in a five-story building with a view of the mountains, so that there is at least some silence. The store is nearby in 5-7 minutes on foot. The beach is across the street. Rods and umbrellas are free of charge. There is no sauna, hammam or massage here. The website says that there is.

Disgusting room cleaning, or rather, there is none at all ... we "rested" from August 9 to 17, 2025, for all the time we never cleaned the room, towels and linen were changed once, despite the fact that we were asked to clean the room! There is only one outlet in the room, there is no kettle, there are no glasses, the hair dryer is not in use at all, it is life-threatening, the wires are out! There is a trail of ants in the room ... there is a railway five meters away, so the feeling that you live at the railway station does not leave you! The bathroom is not even equipped with a brush! And all amenities are just toilet paper! There is no hood, no window, no air freshener in the bathroom! (and it is necessary to take into account the chronic rotovirus of Abkhazia) The only plus is nutrition, there are no questions.

It was possible to pay for the accommodation upon arrival in cash.I live in the Krasnodar Territory, so by lunchtime I was already at the hotel.In general, I liked everything.As stated on the website, the rooms are small but cozy.Very small bathroom, but clean and cleaning every day.The bed is comfortable, the linen is soft, the light in the rooms is dimmed, as can be seen in the photo on the website.Towels,bathrobes and a hairdryer are available, as stated on the website.She lived in a room with a mountain view in a five-story building, facing the railway.She didn't bother me, because the first train passes after I wake up, at 6:30, I think.The food is quite decent, the cook knows his job well, respect and respect, the staff at the reception and in the dining room are calm and respectful, the maids rustle like mice😉 The sea is clear, we were lucky with the weather, I saw dolphins twice, they frolic a little closer to the horizon in the early morning.I wish I could admire these beautiful animals more often, but unfortunately I didn't always manage to get up early.😒

I especially want to mention the food- sooooo delicious food, simple, homemade, cooked with soul and conscience. We had enough food from the hotel, we didn't eat extra anywhere else. The staff working in the dining room is very pleasant, all friendly and pleasant people! The rooms are old but clean (we lived in the second building). There are bathrobes, towels have been changed, bed linen too. I would also like to note that on my birthday I was given a gift from the hotel, which was very pleasant and unexpected, I have been to many hotels, but this is the first time such attention!) The territory of the hotel is very well maintained, various plants are being taken care of, it is clear that the staff is trying very hard. Everything outside the hotel is also very well maintained, quiet, and it's a pleasure to walk! We were in Abkhazia for the first time when we went to novaya Gagra - we were glad that we chose the hotel in staraya Gagra, because Novaya Gagra is certainly very inferior in terms of well-groomed and tranquility.. Now there are some minor disadvantages: I hardly ever caught Wi-Fi in our room, but maybe this is even a plus)) I was also surprised by the lack of bedside tables.. The water in the shower had to be adjusted for 5 minutes, because it was pouring very cold, then very hot. Our windows faced the road, where there was a cafe with very loud music, it was blaring somewhere from 21.00 to 02.00. I sleep with earplugs, so I hardly heard her, but if you have trouble sleeping, it will be a big problem. Also, regarding the road that you need to cross in order to get to the beach, although there is a pedestrian crossing, but the drivers did not stop at all, you had to wait for someone to let you through. It was scary every time. There are NO pharmacies or normal grocery stores nearby. Fortunately, we didn't need pharmacies. There is a small shop 10 minutes from the hotel. You will need it because there is no drinking water or kettle in the room.. Of course, this is the first time I've seen this, after a long journey I would like to at least have a bottle of water for the first time.… We bought 5 liters of water in this store - we had enough for the whole vacation. If it is essential to have various shops/pharmacies within walking distance, then this hotel is probably not your option. The lack of water and a kettle is the biggest surprise and the biggest disadvantage for us. But it didn't spoil our vacation at all! A very decent place for a budget vacation! If we are going to Abkhazia next time, then only to Raida)

We had a rest with my husband from 07/06/2024 to 07/16/2024. A great, peaceful hotel. We had a standard room with a balcony and mountain view. Slippers, towels, bathrobes, daily room cleaning and towel change are provided in the room, towels are provided on the beach, an iron is on the floor. The meals are three times a day, varied, no one was left hungry, everything is very tasty, especially desserts. At lunch, they poured dry wine for an amateur. The beach is sandy and pebbly , located opposite the hotel, just cross the road, there is a bar and WiFi, sun beds and umbrellas for free. The staff is responsive, friendly, starting with the girls at the reception, ending with the guards. Any problem is solved instantly.There are 3 small shops in 10 minutes, the market is 15 minutes by minibus to Novaya Gagra in front of the hotel you can catch any minibus. The hotel is located in Staraya Gagra, next to the seaside park and the colonnade. Opposite the hotel there is a cafe 24 hours the Little Mermaid, live music in the evenings, several cafes on the embankment, further along the colonnade cafe Sakura with a chic interior, I advise you to visit. The only disadvantages are that there is no cooler on the floors and a kettle in the rooms, there is no restaurant on the second floor above the dining room and there is also no sauna, as described on the website. It's boring in the evenings, no entertainment for adults and children, not even music is included. Who needs a relaxing holiday is a ride. Wishes to the hotel and the manager: Put coolers on the floors, or a kettle in the rooms, resume the cafe on the second floor, preferably with music, and all tourists will be yours. Also, please delete incorrect information about the cafe on the second floor and the sauna, because most tourists choose a hotel based on reviews and reliable information on the site, and unfortunately your information is outdated. We arrived home from Abkhazia yesterday, at the Ryda Hotel. The most positive impressions! Great big room, has everything you need, including bathrobes and slippers and beach towels! Daily cleaning and change of towels, meals for 5+! The food is very tasty and varied! A special "thank you" to the hotel staff! Very polite and helpful girls at the reception! They delve into the problem and try to solve it! I recommend the hotel for a holiday, the prices are very budget, I will be happy to return to rest! There are two wishes : - change the employee at the beach! The beach is dirty, and the employee is buried in the phone, you can also collect large garbage. During the 11 days of arrival, dirty shorts, one sneaker, etc. were lying around. When asked to put sun beds and an umbrella, he nods his head and delves into the phone. Later he remembers that he is at work, drags the sunbeds, throws them furiously and leaves! We stayed at this hotel in 2013 and now, in early September 2024. Compared to 11 years ago, the quality of food has become higher (in 2013 there was no dinner, so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, on the roof of the dining room, this year the restaurant did not work). We lived in room 137 (1st four-storey building on the right, 3rd floor, balcony overlooking the mountains and the dining room, Windows overlook the 2nd building) of improved comfort (slightly more room size than the standard, and there is a folding sofa on which the child slept and a cosmetic table with a mirror). 1)The biggest disadvantage of room 137 is the non-working balcony door, which does not close normally. Because of this, the audibility from the street is high, we must try to somehow keep it closed so that insects do not fly. There is a gap at the top of the door. We addressed the problem at the reception, but they did not help us. Who else rested after us in room 137, please unsubscribe, the door was fixed for you? 2) the second disadvantage is the lack of mosquito nets. There are many insects - mosquitoes, bedbugs, moths, even mantises. 3) the third disadvantage is the black mold in the bathroom in the shower + the cracked rubber braid of the hair dryer wire. Advantages of the hotel: 1) Very good nutrition. I will especially note for breakfast pancakes with cottage cheese and meat, pancakes (with jam and condensed milk), dumplings with potatoes and cheese; for lunch salads mimosa, herring under a fur coat, etc., red wine in glasses, watermelon, plums. Very good soups, meat dishes, delicious cottage cheese and sour cream. And what kind of pastries, buns, rolls and cakes, meringues, etc.! 3-4 names have happened and rarely repeated. It seems like the pastry chef is the owner's wife there. For all my 10 days of rest, there were definitely at least 15 different types of pastry. My respects. 2) the second plus is the location of the hotel. The pedestrian crossing is right from the hotel gate (carefully cross, cars are rushing very fast), 1 minute walk to the beach. It is convenient to go for a walk from the hotel to both Old and New Gagra. You can get to Novaya Gagra by minibus (50p). Sometimes they stop in front of the hotel, but rarely.

But keep in mind that there is a restaurant across the street, and there may be loud music until 12 at night)) And a busy road. We had a balcony on the other side. But it didn't bother us. There is a carpet on the floor, a double bed with a super comfortable mattress, 4 pillows. The bathroom has a glass shower cabin. The hotel provides a bathrobe, slippers, all soap and soap accessories. There is a hair dryer. 3. Persons. Super friendly, friendly and smiling, they will always help, solve all questions one or two at a time. 4. Kitchen. Ohhh, Gods!!!!!! This is something unearthly!!!!!! There was no luck with the room the first time, the bathroom was leaking, they moved to another one, there were already problems with the operation of the air conditioner. There is no water in the room, the nearest shop is 10 minutes away. In general, the hotel is suitable for those who are not pretentious about rest, but if you choose Abkhazia or Turkey for this money, of course it is better to take Turkey with a swimming pool and a variety of meals. We had a rest from July 9-21, 2023.Great hotel.The sea is across the road 3 minutes walk.The room was superior with a view of the sea- it's a bit noisy, of course, but it's not critical for us, the sea is really almost invisible since the trees cover it - we had a 3rd floor 1 building.Daily cleaning - garbage removal, change of towels.The bed was changed 2 times .Beach towels are changed on request.Soap and shampoo took their own, although they constantly put soap, shampoo and shower gel in bags.There were water outages 2 times - but this is normal for Abkhazia.The pillow-top bed is comfortable.Food is a separate topic - everything is so delicious! Sooo tasty, satisfying.At lunch, fruits, wine. Next time, go back to this hotel.

I'll start with the fact that when we chose the tour, we visited the page of this hotel 3 times, as a result, we bought a room with a balcony, but believe me, you can live without a balcony))) Upon arrival, a nice receptionist met us, told us everything, explained, showed us - a worthy meeting. The sea is within walking distance, literally 3-5 minutes. The rooms have everything, slippers, bathrobe, hair dryer (even shampoos and gels are constantly added). The rooms are cleaned every day, the staff is very nice and helpful. As for the food, it is excellent, very tasty, there was some variety every day. I would also like to mention the bar on the 2nd floor - the bartender is top simple, the waitress girls have never waited there for anything for a long time (the only thing is, if you sit there in the evening, then take something from mosquitoes) In general, the hotel is super, we really liked everything, I will definitely recommend it to my friends) We had a very warm and cozy vacation. Separately, I would like to highlight this year the bar located on the territory of the hotel ... If you want to immerse yourself in a romantic Abkhazian night under the sound of the sea wave, while being in a corner of the jungle, drinking your favorite drinks, as the bar surprises this year with its variety, thanks to Eugene, the director of the bar! Due to the fact that the bar is open from 12.00 to 24.00, you can always have a delicious meal. I really liked the menu of the bar: a lot of seafood, namely: shrimp with cottage cheese sauce, mussels, incomparable trout, as well as vegetables and grilled shish kebab - are not discussed. After a hard day, you can completely relax here and immerse yourself in the homely atmosphere) Watching movies and cartoons on a movie projector is accompanied by dancing, and sometimes live music, we were lucky to hear a saxophone! There is also a busy road under the window, it can be noisy with the window open, but it was uncritical for us. Sometimes there were short-term power outages, but the hotel has its own generator. The only thing is that there is no drinking water in the rooms, but the whole of Abkhazia, as we were told, drinks tap water, but we did not dare. Food: varied, delicious, there have always been vegetables, fruits, desserts, everyone will stay full. At lunch, homemade wine was poured, but for an amateur. There is also a restaurant on the second floor and a bar in the building. Beach: equipped with a sandy and pebble beach, umbrellas and deck chairs were given out, there was always enough for everyone, but it was possible to sit under an awning. There is a bar and WiFi on the beach. Location: the hotel is located in staraya Gagra, an incredibly picturesque place. The nearest store is 10 minutes on foot, the market is 12 minutes by minibus, there are several cafes on the beach. A very beautiful embankment, nearby is the Gagra colonnade and the park.

You have to go across the road to the shore, they will knock you down there and not notice... there is mold in the bathroom inside the hotel. We rest in June at this hotel for the first time, read good reviews and went here for decent money, you could go to Turkey in 4 *, so, we took it from a tour operator, but had to pay extra for a room with a balcony (a balcony that was built into the wall of the dining room building). The rooms are certainly decent, we lived in the 3rd, settled into a double room, pushed the sofa apart and there was no room left in the room at all.. And another "bonus" is that the hotel is located between the main road of Gagra and the railway (the reception said that trains run only 2 times a day, but to our surprise they went much more often (windows in the cars can be seen from the room), and on the other two sides there is a huge construction of a large hotel complex (semi-active) so you won't find a quiet room with a normal view... And the last nonsense is the dining room, it's the dining room, we don't seem to be picky about food, but it was very difficult to find a normal meal, let's start with the fact that the food is presented on two racks of 6 compartments, a tomato, a cucumber and some kind of cereal and meat. But okay, but everything is made of such terrible products, like Abkhazia is a paradise of fresh, good products, but no - glass vegetables, mayonnaise - a badyaga of paints, and all salads are seasoned with it. We talked with others and found out that there is one cook working here, and he cooks disgustingly, of Soviet training and not the best. Therefore, at least I go to eat in other Cafes, but with this there is a Huge ---- . + And of course there is no silver lining, this is a BEACH, compared to everyone, it is sandy, clean, well-groomed, sun beds, umbrellas, wi-fi - everything is in the best possible way (all the beaches of Garga have passed - they did not find it better))

On the beach there are umbrellas, sun beds, changing cabins and Wi-Fi (free of charge).The hotel consists of 2 residential buildings (the first building has an elevator) and a small dining room with a bar upstairs. The staff tries to keep an eye on everything. The accommodation includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is delicious. They are constantly informing on everything. Drinks include tea, compote, instant coffee, wine is added for lunch. The rooms have bathrobes, beach towels, air conditioning. The photo shows a view from the 5th floor of the 1st building, from the side of the road. We slept with the window closed -practically nothing is heard. On the other side of the road-railway tracks-they are hidden by greenery, trains rarely run.
