The hotel was pleasantly surprised! Clean room, spacious bathroom, quiet, excellent breakfasts! Unexpectedly, for such a price, good breakfasts :). The staff is very pleasant, speaking, among other things, Russian.
Very convenient location!
A great base for exploring Istanbul!

Nice clean area, near Sultanahmet, the rooms are small as in most hotels in Istanbul. There is a terrace, but you can't have breakfast there, you can just sit. There is a buffet, but in the Turkish style (eggs, olives, bread, vegetables, etc.). There is a Russian-speaking employee, thanks to him, he always tried to help.

The main advantages of this hotel are the location very close to the main attractions and the helpful staff. Everyone at the reception is very nice and helpful, especially the older man, and his English is super.
The room cleaning is excellent, for a $ 1 tip, we were almost daily changed bed linen, towels daily, consumables - as much as you like, cleaned cleanly.
Of the disadvantages, the Internet often falls off, it is stable only in a special lobby, in rooms +/-.
Be prepared that the rooms are very small, the two of us did not disperse, we had to let each other through, although we are both slender :)).
The bed is comfortable, it sleeps great!
And also a very steep climb along narrow sidewalks, suitable only for tourists without health problems.
For a first acquaintance with Istanbul, the hotel is excellent for its price!

10 minutes tram roads. There are a lot of establishments nearby. But prices bite.

Excellent location, water and Wi-Fi were always available, the air conditioner was working.
The breakfasts are monotonous, but generally normal.
The first night we slept without pillowcases, because the hotel simply did not have clean ones!!!
One day they gave out one towel for two, I had to go down to the reception several times and ask.
It is very noisy, the noise insulation is zero, you can hear everything, both the corridor and the neighboring rooms, and the plumbing.
The room is patched, mold on the walls of the bathroom, room cleaning is also so-so.
The elevator breaks down regularly, but it is repaired fairly quickly.
The rooms are very small.
The rating on the booking is too high. It's not clear where 8.1 comes from.

I recommend it as a place for your first visit to Istanbul. The staff is determined to understand the guest. The room was in line with expectations. Good cleaning. Lucky to have a view of the palm tree from the window. We should work on the breakfasts. The exoticism of climbing and descending a steep, powerful street is not repulsive. Proximity to the stop of the legendary T 1 and walking distance to all the Sultanahmet pearl. Beautiful singing from the minarets of mosques.

Another question is who and how will like the location of this mini-hotel. Personally, I was stressed by the steep ascents and descents before you get there.
Although, all the mini-hotels there are like that!
From + I would like to add that there are a lot of restaurants around with great cuisine and relatively for pennies. There is also an alcohol store nearby)))
But the main attraction is the Grand Bazaar. I recommend it!!!!!

The hosts and the hotel suck. Not only that, they settled in another hotel, worse (the owner has several of them). So also during our stay at the hotel, they began to paint the walls intensively. The stench in the room is from the paint. I went to the reception to have a fight, they answer with surprised eyes: so we paint during the day. We are very unassuming. We need air conditioning, a shower and a bed. All this is there, but in such a poor state. Everything is falling apart. There's a hole in the mattress. There is no sound insulation at all. If it were possible to give minus stars, I would put minus three

I gave a four only to the friendly hotel staff! The young man at the reception, Hussein, reacted quickly to requests and the women in the kitchen, well done, tried their best! Otherwise, of course, it's a little weak! The rooms leave much to be desired! Another plus, the hotel is five minutes from the center, which is very convenient!

Initially, there was a reservation at the Leila hotel, they have the same owner.
They settled in the Rhine.
I write right away - a terrible hotel.
The room has mold all over the wall, the bathroom is covered in dirt and rust. Very cold.
We complained to the reception and the tour operator, as a result we were moved to another room, there was no mold, which was a little pleasing. The room had to be cleaned, we left our suitcases and went for a walk around our beloved Istanbul.
We returned in the evening, the room was cleaned, and there were dried feces in the toilet.
We went to the reception and went to dinner, came and kind of washed, but there was a dirty rim, as a result there was no one to wash and the manager came to Wash himself.
In general, in the morning we took our suitcases and went to the nearby Inrerstar hotel and it was just an exhale and a smile appeared on our face.
I travel a lot, I do a lot of business trips, but I've never seen such horror.
Never check into this hotel.

Very bad rooms: A sagging mattress that rolls down. Garbage is not collected, the floors are dirty. The bathroom is a nightmare! There's mold all over it, other people's hair all over the floor and in the drain. They didn't change the toilet paper after the last visitors. Used small jars for gel and shampoo are poured from large buckets. Stupidly, gel was poured into the shampoo. I saw how the cleaners laid out clean bed linen right on the dirty floor in the hallway! The linen and towels are yellow and stained. You can't take breakfast in your mouth. I'm just terrified. I had to buy a house cleaner and wash the bathroom and the floor in the room myself.
Think 100 times before you stop there. We were there for 4 days, it was very bad. The only star for the location. In the historical center, but there are a lot of hotels there, you could find a nicer one

The 1-star hotel is also offered by the Intourist tour operator. Three names in one hotel are Lola, Leila and Reina.
Towels have not been changed in 4 nights not once. Breakfast is simple....
They feed in the basement, all the furniture is stained, dirt. My appetite disappeared immediately. We went to a cafe for breakfast. There is mold in the room. All the plumbing in the shower is dirty. The reception staff seems friendly and the woman who cooks at breakfast is rude. And most importantly, the view from the window is of an abandoned wooden house. The curtain on the window was therefore always drawn.

We didn't come down for breakfast, because it was squeamish after that.. view from the window of an abandoned building. The location is great, but it was in February, when snow fell unexpectedly for everyone, including locals. There is no heating. The shoes were dried from the warm air of the air conditioner by installing it on a step above the head. But the trip to the Bosphorus was worth it

The hotel is located near the shore of the Marmara Sea, a 7-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Sofia Cathedral. The hotel is undergoing renovation on the floors, do not be afraid. Rooms...for that kind of money, they are quite decent (safe, TV, air conditioning), daily cleaning. The staff is friendly and helpful, we had our boarding passes printed out without any problems.

The hotel is in the center, but in the courtyards. The main attractions are within walking distance. There were shortcomings in the room: leaks, dampness. At night, a leak started in the bathroom from the ceiling. The staff is very helpful. Such nice people that this plus crossed out all the disadvantages.
