We breathed in November 2025. There are no disadvantages for the hotel. There is a recommendation to the hotel management: a man in a light green vest is on duty on the beach. What is it there for? We observed a picture: a person cannot get out of the water (waves overwhelm, panic, begins to sink) the vacationers who were on the shore at that moment are being rescued (the man in the vest stands without reaction). Keep in mind, if such a situation arises, save yourself!!! Waves-it's better not to go into the water (the entrance to the water is steep right away (not for small children like karon, kata, etc.)) Now about the advantages: the deposit upon arrival is at the rate of $ 80 per day (in the reviews they wrote about problems with the refund, this is nonsense-they returned everything properly with the money they took, and not with baht, as it happens). The level of amenities on the beach is 5+ (nimble beachboys who give towels in a second and carry a chaise longue to any place convenient for you). The hotel is compact, everything is thought out. Compared to neighboring Anantara, the villas are located close to the beach and at the same time they are very private). The renovation is quite well preserved) The hotel is for those who like a quiet holiday. Restaurants: 5+ (great breakfast), served with dinners immediately upon booking (expensive, but worth it). The chefs try their best, the serving and the quality of the dishes are 5+ (the dinners are incomparable, you choose 3 dishes from the menu, all drinks are paid). There are three restaurants on site, two of them with ocean views. I agree with previous reviews: everything on the territory is quite expensive, but apparently the hotel is of this level! Any issues that arise are resolved as quickly as possible. A golf cart runs every hour to the shops/restaurants - a 5-minute drive). The hotel provides bicycles for free. The reviews said it was impossible to sleep - frogs croak (nothing like that, birds chirp louder))). The hotel was mostly populated by Europeans, Americans, and Chinese. Russians are less than 5%. Bike rental: one monopolist rents out an area from merchants. Bottom line: this is the kind of hotel you want to return to once again.

A great family-friendly hotel on the shores of Maikhao Beach. Not far from the airport. There are 4 restaurants on site. There is a Russian-speaking employee who can help resolve all issues. You can rent a bike for free and take a ride to the local market. There's not much to take from the market. Only fruits were brought back. There is a bus to the shops every 30 minutes from the hotel. A gorgeous beach and the clearest sea. Deck chairs, towels, water are available. Good room facilities, comfortable pillows. Air conditioning, refrigerator. Everything for a better holiday

We stayed with a friend at this hotel from April 23 to May 2, 2025. They met us at the airport, and saw us off when we left, on an individual transfer with leather seats and a golden ceiling, like queens. There were already two bottles of water and wet terry cloths in the car for us. It took about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. We were also greeted at the hotel with delicious lemonade and wet towels. The room was quite spacious with two separate large and very comfortable beds, a sofa, two tables, two closets. There is a hairdryer, umbrella, kettle, ironing board, iron, bathrobe, slippers, safe, cups, spoons, tea, coffee, dry cream. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body cream are of very good quality. Towels were changed every day. All towels, even beach towels, napkins, and bathrobes smell good. Despite the humidity, the hotel and the rooms do not smell damp. The cleaning was of high quality. The hotel is surrounded by tropical greenery, birds and cicadas are singing. There were a lot of fruits at breakfast: watermelons, melons, bananas, tangerines, apples, mangoes, papaya, passion fruit, dragon's heart, guava, and even blueberries. Cheeses: with blue mold, with white mold, and several other types of cheeses. Cuts of both meat and salmon. Eggs: scrambled eggs, various omelets, eggs Benedict, just boiled. Milk porridge, casserole, pancakes, pastries. Hot dishes: seafood, pork, chicken, soups, vegetables, both stewed and raw. Tea, coffee, yoghurts, freshly squeezed and packaged juices. If it's hot, you can eat inside the restaurant, if it's cold under the air conditioners, you can eat outside. Beach workers bring white terry towels, and make up the sun beds themselves, bringing ice water and lemon. If you drink at least a little, immediately pour more. Mosquitoes are periodically poisoned, which they warn about with the help of notes. Bicycles are available at the hotel, which can be rented for free. There is a free tuk-tuk transfer to the village where we bought food on 7/11 and ate in a cafe, because the prices in the hotel restaurant are more expensive than in Moscow. We were charged a deposit upon check-in. They asked for $800 for two, but we were allowed to deposit $600 for two. The day before he left, he was returned to us safely. The beach is very clean, it is cleaned every day. The sea was rough for only two days. There was a red flag, it was forbidden to swim. The sea is very warm 30-31 degrees. There are two pools for children and adults. The staff is very friendly and smiling. If my review helps anyone, I will be glad!

Great hotel! We had a rest during the New Year holidays. The hotel is fresh, small, the breakfasts are decent, the staff is friendly. Everything is delicious in restaurants for lunch and dinner too. (I recommend booking a table in advance for dinners if you are vacationing during the high season). For us, a significant advantage was that a vacation on Mai Khao with a small number of people. The coastline is very long, in the morning we walked along the beach to the location where planes land over the beach (about 40 minutes to walk, don't forget your sunglasses and cap), looked at the planes and then went out to the road, there are several tents with fruits and coconuts. There are motorcycle tuk-tuks right there. We went back on a motorcycle tuk-tuk for 300 rubles :) Let's return to the hotel facilities: there were always enough sun beds in the hotel (but we didn't arrive late, until 10), the staff helps to move them to the right place :) a "massage parlor" is organized right on the territory near the beach (it doesn't feel like a hotel))) a podium was built on stilts and 10 beds were laid :) a massage costs 500 rubles there. The hotel has its own beautiful spa, but the prices are significantly higher. The deposit at the hotel is $100 per day! We took breakfasts and dinners, but next time we will take only breakfasts if the price is significantly different. Drinks were not included at the dinners, and there were dishes for which you still had to pay extra (they are not included in the package dinners). We are not fans of swimming pools, we swam in the sea, I would like to point out that the sea was calm in the morning, it was always agitated in the evening, and it gets deep pretty quickly, we did not see any rescuers throughout Mai khao. Tuk-tuks run from the hotel to Maikhao Plaza (there are pharmacies, cafes, and an exchange office there on 7/11). I recommend the hotel for those who want a relaxing stay. After the Renaissance, we went to Caron Beach at the le meredian hotel, in a completely different mood. I'll write a review there too.

A beautiful hotel in a secluded location, deserted beaches, a booth right on the beach where Thai men for 500 baht will sneeze at your heels for an hour. Those for the entire huge hotel are an insignificant space. Okay, let's go to the sea, and the parish is fenced with tape (do not pass). We look at the beach, and there everything is in the trash (as if a garbage truck turned over) see the photo. After everything we saw and heard, we returned to the representatives of the hotel for explanations ... to which we heard that you were warned about the noise, and the beach is cleaned every day at 6:00 (I can't believe it). We decided to stay for a day instead of the planned week. But they immediately recalculated the price and another penalty day for cancellation. A total of 14600bat (about 450d). We went to our booking for booking and canceled at the price indicated there (6400bat). And they moved to another hotel in upset feelings. Yes, you can say that it is not the season and that the noise was warned in a reply letter, but the holiday was spoiled. And a hotel of such a global network can maintain the life and decoration of the hotel in a more appropriate quality. And even more so, try to make extra money in the situation described above.

One for breakfast, the second in the large pool area is open until 12 at night, you can eat in it at any time. There is also a bar. The third restaurant is open during dinner. You don't have to reserve tables (they cook very tasty). We go to dinner every day, we were satisfied. We are having a rest in this hotel now! We like everything here! And the hotel room and the territory itself! There is a separate pool for children with a slide and various attractions and sun beds. The hotel is as secluded as possible, right on the beach, but there is nothing around, no city, no village, no markets, no shops, only other hotels along the beach and the forest. It has a gift shop, two creepy-looking resticks, an exchange, a massage parlor and a store with jackets 🤷♀️ If you walk 100 meters along the side of the road from it, there will be a second shopping center more lively, there is a Sevenleven, a pizzeria, a Korean rest, a Thai, a Mexican sports bar and a noodle shop. The Renaissance is not the same anymore! I was there about 8 years ago. Heaven and earth! Now the hotel is already old and in need of renovation . Rust, the smell of mold in some places, non-working plumbing. The kids' club is just crazy! They expressed their indignation about the broken toys and taped ones, to which the manager replied that they had not changed since the opening. There was a stone in the fried noodles, and a rusty iron pin of 20 cm was found in the sand on the beach. Very slippery tiles (smooth) in the bathroom (shower), be careful. The hotel is outdated. Of the advantages, only the beautiful vegetation on the territory and the average breakfasts ( from crumpled pans, which, apparently, like toys, have not changed since the opening. The beach of Maikhao is beautiful, but it is almost always with a wave.

The hotel is wonderful. The service is very high quality and not noticeable. Cleaning 2-3 times a day. A constant change of towels on the beach and lemon water with ice. Everything is thought out in the room, everything is very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. The best beach for me in Phuket is almost wild, clear water without reference to tides, no water infrastructure (reserve area), however, the hotel provides boards and kayaks for free. There is a gym that is acceptable for the hotel and the opportunity to work out on vacation. Free bike rental, yoga in the morning and some other activities during the day. Daily sweet compliment in the room (chocolate day, coconut day, black pepper, etc.). Just luhari- luhari. No one bothers anyone. We had two disadvantages: 1. The bill for the wine from the minibar, which we did not drink (it was canceled). 2. Misunderstanding about the reservation, we booked a room for three with breakfast, upon arrival it was indicated that the prices on the booking are indicated for two guests, for the third - an additional fee. At the same time, if you book a room for future dates, the price for two is 30% lower than for three. That is, they actually tried to remove the surcharge for the fourth. Because our third guest was included in the booking price initially. A day of clarification through the main office confirmed our position. Booking first sided with us, then refused in a letter and withdrew himself. I guess they just don't have the right encoding, so be careful. Have a good rest to everyone!

But it doesn't happen every day. You can always find a sunbed, but not always where you want (you need to get up early and borrow).

I liked the hotel! Pros: The staff is customer-oriented)) The breakfasts are great! A good mattress and bed linen! Cons: it is located in the middle of nowhere, the beach is super dirty, the entrance to the sea is inconvenient (( Bumps underfoot on the lawn in front of the beach (it is impossible to walk barefoot) It sucks! The pool is small.
