A very, very cool restaurant. Every time I come to Almaty , the first thing I do is come here . Very polite and sensitive staff , beautiful and themed interior. Native Russian cuisine, borscht alone - 3 types. Lard, moonshine, jelly is just 🔥 and what delicious liqueurs are here ... I advise you to try. 😉

This is now my favorite place in the city, when I go there on a business trip, lunch/dinner is only there! The entourage in the style of the movie "the meeting place cannot be changed", the original names of the waiters, the musicians in the same style, the kitchen is magnificent, for the "amber rib of a calf in wine sauce" a low bow to the chef! No institution serves garlic with borscht, unless you ask for it yourself.
In general, keep it up!

Why do I give 4 stars instead of 5? I don't like chanson, it's not my thing. And I have some questions about the kitchen, the food didn't seem the most delicious to me, although I definitely won't call it bad. Moreover, in defense of the restaurant, I will say that the menu selection is very rich and interesting.
If you are looking for a Russian cuisine restaurant, then you definitely should go. We went there 2 times, but the first time we couldn't get there because we didn't book a place in advance and there were no seats. In general, the guys tried very hard to create a kind of charm in the institution, which is not often found.

Today in the afternoon, my friend and I were walking and accidentally went to the Marina Grove restaurant, 78 Kunaeva Street. We did not have a reservation, but Ekaterina Volkova's manager organized a table for us. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very interesting, fast and high-quality service. We ordered a glass of Merlot and a glass of Pinot Grigio, as well as classic chebureks and Moscow borscht. The food arrived very quickly, despite the 100% workload of the restaurant. The portions are large and the dishes are very tasty. The prices are reasonable. You can visit as a family or a large company. Live music in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday.

Gorgeous!!! Delicious!!! Atmospheric!!! You can paint something there for a long time - but it's better to just take it and visit it yourself! ... We stopped by on a recommendation with my wife and child in March 2022 - all three of them liked it! Warning - it's better to call in advance and book a table - we stupidly a little later in the evening, right after the ski rolls, went "to the cafe "maybe"" - and were stunned: a) we got to the restaurant; b) we were lucky and there was an empty table. ;-))
