The best restaurant in this location!!! I spent my childhood in Soviet Baku and really missed the real Baku restaurant. Everything is delicious here, just like in childhood.
Excellent food and delicious local wine. We went every evening. For three people with wine and several dishes, from 60 to 80 manats went out for each. This is about 20-30 dollars for three with gluttony.

From the good: service, interior. That's where the good ends. You go to a restaurant in Baku with food.... There were three of us, we took different salads and different hot dishes. Everything is not delicious. We had dinner in this wonderful place on 11.03.23, the restaurant was recommended by our guide (Saleh). Good national Azerbaijani Cuisine (I especially recommend dyushbar soup with small dumplings, dogwood or feijoa compote, flatbreads stuffed with walnuts). We should also mention the friendly relaxing atmosphere, pleasant music and beautiful decor!

A very vaunted tourist institution) we have been living in Baku for about a year, we decided to go, since it is so recommended… well, the disappointment of the year.. we ordered saj with beef, the national dish for a moment ☝️ the meat is dry, and in general the dish was cold, although the whole thing is that saj is served on fire, we raised the dish, there are long-extinct coals, not even hot😁 the tinctures are not tasty, the alcohol is terrible. The atmosphere is nationally colorful, but Baku is full of such places, take the same Nargiz or Gaynana, but it's very tasty there, and here the divorce is purely for tourists. We do not recommend

It was our first dinner in Baku, I wanted to try the local cuisine. The place was not mistaken. The restaurant is located in the basement, the interior is in the national style. Large menu in several languages with photos. Not only Azerbaijani dishes. I liked kutabs, vegetable salad, dolma and local wine. Thanks to the waiter Emin. We recommend it.

The only plus can be put for the atmosphere of the place.
About the kitchen: below one for the taste and quality of the dishes (by the way, I'm writing from this restaurant). The dishes are spoiled, jyz byz is about nothing (I compare it with another institution in the city), the shish kebab is very hard, the pilaf Firuz is very dry and looks not like govurma with rice, but rice with chicken.
Kutabs are a separate story. You can see with an unarmed eye that they use pita bread! And they should be made of dough. The taste is disgusting.
I won't come to Firuz anymore.
P.S. - an indicator of the quality of the cuisine: the presence of local residents in the institution, and the lack of free seats. There were no locals in Firuz, as I did not try to look, and there are a lot of free places, more than 90%.
