On 03/16/2025, we celebrated our daughter's birthday. The service is top-notch. The waiter met us and escorted us to our table. The order arrived quickly, the food was fresh, delicious, and the portions were large. A cheesecake with a fan candle was brought as a compliment from the restaurant. The waitress was very polite throughout the evening. The atmosphere is cozy, pleasant music is playing in the background. I recommend this restaurant for family holidays, with friends and not only.

A good restaurant on the embankment of the Sozh River. On a summer evening, the atmosphere is magical. Good cuisine. Homemade craft wines. I bought almost all of them, very good ones. I especially like lavender wine. The staff is polite and friendly.

The location is great. The atmosphere is pleasant (even despite the presence of midges). The children's corner is not bad, but it is probably better to place parents next to it, so that children do not rush back and forth between tables with other visitors. Very unhurried service. From the salads I ate to the hot one, I had to stare at the neighboring tables for about 30 minutes. The waiter explained the expectation with a large number of visitors, but there were quite a lot of empty tables. In addition, when ordering, the waiter did not warn about possible delays (in less pretentious "Cornflowers" in a different way). The menu does not specify the composition of dishes everywhere: "Salad with squid in Asian style" turns out to be a set consisting of greens (about half the weight), 3 mussels, 2 shrimps and, in fact, 3 (three) thin rings of squid. The crispy eggplants were such by a stretch, i.e. only slightly fried; the nuts indicated in the menu were completely absent from the composition, instead of them pumpkin seeds.

The maintenance and service is about zero, which is most disappointing! When you enter a restaurant, no one greets you. The waiters don't come up for a very long time, they don't respond to your calls, they pretend that you don't exist. There is no service, which is sad for a restaurant at this level.

However, the disadvantages outweigh it. The kitchen was disappointing: the cooking, alas, tasteless. I ordered porcini mushroom risotto, and they brought... seafood. The waiters forgot to bring drinking water, although the order was made. But the strangest moment was that the instruments were not brought to us until we reminded them. It seems that the staff does not follow the details at all.
In general, the place is suitable only for drinking coffee while enjoying the view, but not for a gastronomic experience.

The place is nice, my family and I have been there more than once, but unfortunately the kitchen does not reach the restaurant.. We came across it in advance, it seems that at least a day in advance, the prepared dishes (lasagna, chicken bolontine) are slightly warmed up in the microwave.. The bruschetta made from store-bought bread with an incomprehensible spread left an unforgettable aftertaste. The pizza is sour, and there's some kind of cottage cheese instead.. Unfortunately, my visit to the Provence restaurant in Gomel left an extremely negative impression. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and beautiful interior, the service and quality of the dishes turned out to be far from expectations.
The waiters paid almost no attention to the visitors. I had to wait a long time to place an order or ask for an invoice. It felt like we were superfluous there.
The food was also disappointing. The ordered dishes were served cold and tasteless. The portions were small and did not correspond to the price indicated on the menu. In addition, an extraneous impurity was found in the dish, which caused additional confusion and concerns about the quality of the products.
The overall impression of visiting the restaurant was spoiled. This attitude towards customers and the poor quality of the dishes do not correspond to the level expected from an institution with such a reputation. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A big minus to the administrator and thanks for the dummy chair. The reservation is for 5 people, they offer a table for 4, at least not a standing place.
Kitchen. The absence of some dishes can be attributed to the holidays. But terrible food quality and poor cooking, no.
Duck breast. Rubber, made in suvid, and immediately served. Is this for lovers of boiled duck skin? Have you run out of butter, what would you fry?
Pork rolls. Okay, but either they were reheated, or the pork was of poor quality, it tasted good.
On the plus side, there are desserts and waiters.

According to the food that was ordered delicious, only the croutons seemed greasy in Caesar, it feels like they were deep-fried, the tinctures are delicious, the prices are certainly not even average, but still there is a plus view in the park, perhaps justified, plus in the season it is probably more for tourists. We were planning a small wedding and wanted a separate room. Unfortunately, he was busy, but we were told: * "If a place is available, we will call you back"*. They called back, we were happy and agreed.… And after a couple of minutes it turned out that the reservation was invalid – the new administrator gave the hall to other customers who were not even in the queue!
That's how they can make you happy in a couple of minutes, and then spoil the mood for the whole event.

Meal. It's a beautiful presentation, but the taste is frankly disappointing.
We ordered pizza Provence (which consists of 4 different pizzas). 2 out of 4 flavors are a complete failure. These are the ones with fresh tomatoes and fresh cucumbers.
From the appetizers, we ordered shrimp in filo. Everything is fine here. It's a little fat, but it's good.
Eclair with red fish, fresh onions and avocado - well, it's a rare muck. The dough is softened, falling apart.

But everything can't be perfect and the service has failed (as I understand it, we weren't the first to encounter this). It all started with the fact that when I tried to call to book a table, the voice box kindly answered me and only an hour later the administrator called back, during the process of booking the table she had an inner curiosity and clarified the reasons for the visit (first he pushed me to some kind of promotion, a compliment from the institution, etc., because the administrator knew what would happen Birthday, but none of this happened, and I conclude that it's a personal curiosity, which is very inappropriate). The receptionist also approached us only after the bartender indicated that guests had arrived, before that there were some funny things on the phone.
The second nuance: at the beginning of the dinner, the waiter clarified that the bill would be separate or shared, which also looks very strange, it has never been seen before, and the client informs about such nuances independently if necessary :) If this script is written by the admin, then there is also another disadvantage for personal curiosity, if the waiter's initiative is a minus for him)
I hope the personal curiosity of the administrator did not encourage her to tip the waiter and he received them in full :)
Summarizing: the place is definitely good and I will come there again, I write a review out of good intentions so that such nuances do not arise in the future, customers are different, and about all these nuances (the reason for the visit, separate bill, etc.) the client will definitely inform you himself if he sees fit :)
But the kitchen is gorgeous, thanks to the chefs!
