I really liked the Riga Zoo! Although we visited it 2.5 years ago, but the memories are vivid and still alive, so I really want to return to that amazing atmosphere! Firstly, I really liked the location of the zoo. We were walking to him through the Interpark, admiring nature, when suddenly, among the trees in the distance, we saw animals, and the zoo began in that place! It's great to look at animals when they are in such a natural environment, you don't feel any barriers between them and yourself! Even the peacock flew between the enclosures, and did not feel imprisoned!))) On the other side of the zoo there is a large Kishezers Lake, complementing this wonderful atmosphere. We especially liked the giraffes, which you can watch not only from below, but also climbing up to a special observation deck, you can get a good look at their muzzle) I also really liked the funny lemurs, interesting capybara, zebras and huge hippos))) We were delighted, feelings overwhelmed us, because man and nature are one! Interestingly, when the Creator created man and animals, at one time they lived in peace and were not afraid of each other! And although, unfortunately, this is not the case now, for good people, God has planned a wonderful future, which is recorded in the Bible: "Wolves and lambs will eat together, lions will eat next to bulls, snakes will no longer harm anyone on My holy mountain. That's what the Lord said." It is great that thanks to the selfless work of all the zoo staff, it continues to function, and in this difficult time, it helps to raise the mood and maintain the positive attitude of its visitors!
