Overall, a great impression of the hotel. The power supply is Ultra. Very tasty, on trend. The room is spacious, cozy, and clean. Coffee is served by the pool (from Starbucks). It's good that there is a 16+ pool where people without children can enjoy their holidays. We played lawn tennis, took golf lessons, rode bicycles - they are free at the hotel, you can ride all day.
The road to the beach is a bit out of the concept of the hotel)). Along the way, you will meet not only kitties and dogs, but also homeless people sleeping on the ground; drunken beggars, ride in a stuffy elevator with foul-smelling people; a grandfather who also carries his bike in the elevator....
The hotel has a part of the beach, there are no questions there - everyone is polite, clean, toilet, shower, service (you can order food to the sun beds through the code), a big plus is that they give towels on the beach and they do not need to be carried from the hotel. However, locals will sit on the shore opposite the sun beds, lay out their umbrellas, put up chairs and will sit all day. And sometimes it seems they do it on purpose... this is a certain nuance of the urban beach.
The hotel has a good location, within walking distance of the lunopark, shopping center, old town.

Vacation in Rixos Downtown Antalya: a good option with nuances
Our stay at the hotel turned out to be calm and generally pleasant. I would like to note that
The staff was mostly helpful: they helped with questions, regularly asked if they liked everything, and even upgraded the room with a sea view at no extra charge — it was a nice bonus. However, a couple of times we noticed that some waiters paid attention mainly to me, ignoring my wife when they took the order — it felt like it wasn't out of spite, but it was a little embarrassing.
Sports and activity are the strong point of the hotel. Free bikes and a long bike path at the entrance allowed us to ride 15 km every day, which we did. Coaches Tugai and Ibrahim (crossfit, tabata, boxing) are positive and energizing guys, it's easy to find a common language with them. Training has become a pleasant ritual.
The hotel looks a little tired, but generally well maintained. The rooms and public areas are clean, although the restaurant sometimes had flaws: for example, some plates or their storage areas did not seem tidy enough. Renovation, of course, would not hurt, but it is quite comfortable to rest for 7-10 days.
I liked the variety of food: the breakfasts were familiar, but satisfying, and there were interesting dishes at dinners every day — beef and grilled vegetables were especially pleasing. Alternative milk coffee is available in the bars, and fresh orange juice is available in the spa area. Among the pleasant little things: QR codes on the tables by the pool to order drinks, and a free transfer to Land of Legends - convenient if you want to change the atmosphere.
What could be better:
- The cleanliness in the restaurant was sometimes lame — as I mentioned, there were imperfect moments.
- Queues for dinner during peak hours — we had to adjust to the time.
- The staff was not always equally attentive to all the guests — I would have liked more sensitivity.
One of the non—obvious advantages is cats that walk around the territory. They don't bother you, but they add an atmosphere of comfort.
In general, the hotel left rather positive impressions. If you do not expect the ideal and are ready to put up with minor shortcomings, you can have a good rest here. We would rate it 7.5/10— there is a lot to grow, but it is decent for its level.
P.S. beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. If you go to a hotel knowing the year of its construction, with the intention of focusing on the disadvantages of the circumstances of the time, then the problem is not in the hotel, but in your choice.

I was here in the lowest season, I liked everything. The location is convenient: the old town is not far away, and access to the embankment, where you can walk for kilometers, ride bicycles, run. The food is excellent, I liked literally everything, good European alcohol, and the cocktails are excellent. The spa complex is excellent, but the prices for additional services are exorbitant. Free bicycles, baskets, but they are great for a promenade along the embankment. There are two tennis courts: artificial grass with sand. A local coach will play with you for 1200 lire, so it's better to look for someone to play with, I went with a racket and on the 3rd day I found a partner, nest relief did not help me find a partner. The excellent location and attentive staff are the main advantages of this hotel.
We had a rest together on 09.03-14.03.25. We really liked the parks around the hotel. You can rent bicycles at the hotel itself, but we preferred hiking. For those who like shopping, a 20-minute walk to the large Migoros shopping center.
Meals at the hotel for 5 points. I have not seen such a variety of cheeses in the other five. I also liked the smoked trout. Of the cons, there are not enough fruits, but I think we got into this season.
For Starbucks fans, it's near the pool, but the coffee tastes better in the lobby on the second floor. The rooms are spacious and clean perfectly. There is a historical tram stop nearby. And lots of cute cats. And there are fish swimming in the pond. You have to go down to the sea by elevator or go up a long staircase - 140 steps, but you have to somehow compensate for the exclusivity)))

Definitely a great hotel. The buffet is very good, in terms of the fact that there are always a lot of types of food for breakfast, as well as for lunch and dinner. The pool and common areas, including the entrance area, parking, etc., are also very good. There are various bars and restaurants, bicycles, and a maximum of 10 minutes can take you down the elevator to the private beach. But I'm not thrilled about the rooms and the service: the rooms are not new, and they are not always cleaned at the same level. They may forget to put drinks in the mini bar for you, and if they ask for something else, they may also wait (at least that's how it was with us). The guest relations department also turned out to be maybe not very experienced (the girl barely spoke English, and they even called us in the morning to ask if everything was okay....How can you wake up weekend guests who didn't ask for anything?). Otherwise, the service is good, but generally not at the level of Riksos.
If you expect an impeccable room, then take only the most expensive, the rest is 4 stars, not 5. And so the hotel is excellent for relaxation.

A wonderful hotel, a little tired in terms of the interiors of the rooms, but all this is compensated by excellent service, friendly staff, excellent cuisine, a pool with warm water, bicycles for rent. We had a rest at the end of October. The weakest Rixos on the coast. The main advantage of the hotel is its location. It is very convenient to get to the center, walk along the endless embankment, a huge plus is free bike rental. The territory is compact, but there are several bars that do not have queues, a heated swimming pool in the winter season, a children's area, a spa area with saunas, a gym, and so on.
The beach is located in a five-minute walk - down the elevator or stairs, the transfer to the beach has never been used. This is where people with disabilities or families with strollers need to think about - during our stay, the elevator broke down, it is extremely problematic to go up and down 200 steps with a wheelchair, and to go around a large circle. There was also a festival, and because of this, the queues for the elevator are very long in the evenings.
Meals are served non-stop until 00:00. No frills, but you won't stay hungry. For dinner, there are always all kinds of meat for every taste.The standard fish is Dorado and sea bass. Lunches and breakfasts are simpler. I would like to mention the work of some of the waiters, especially Farid. They took cocktails in the bars - it's impossible to drink ((apparently, they use local alcohol, but the aperol is good. Many people wrote about Starbucks coffee - unfortunately, there are only cups from Starbucks.. they cook on a vending machine!!, in paper cups, the taste is appropriate ... The coffee in the lobby bar is not bad if you ask to make it on a horn.
The cleaning is poor, the rooms are quite dirty with an abundance of black hair on the carpet, which is generously covered with the entire hotel)
Allergy sufferers need to be careful - the hotel and the entire hotel area are covered in cats - the smells are appropriate.
What ruined the rest - according to the "winter concept" they decided to turn off the air conditioners at the end of October, it was impossible to sleep with the window open - it was stuffy, screaming compatriots on the street, music from the festival ... after numerous complaints (a week later) they turned it on again, but we found out about it ourselves by accidentally turning it on.

There is a public promenade within walking distance. I especially liked the attitude towards the guests. During the vacation, my wife had a birthday. Convenient location, 45 minutes walk to oldtown, 30 minutes walk to a large shopping center (be prepared for huge queues at Dawn, where you can pay with Lira or a foreign card).
The hotel has a beautiful, albeit small territory, unlike many other similar hotels, everything looks stylish! The pools are small, but there is enough space for everyone! There is one heated pool, and it is not 18+. The main restaurant has a 16+ zone, which, frankly, we like, suits us.
The spa area is small but cozy, and there is a delicious vitamin bar with smoothies and fresh drinks. Alcoholic cocktails, guys, it's just a bomb!
You can ask for nuts in any bar, they are heated, by the way, have you heard of this?! I'm not!

Every year in March, we visit premium Turkish hotels (above average, shorter). Type
Barut, Alva Donna. The travel agent told us, "It's Rixos," and we went.
In general, the impression upon arrival is good - a beautiful lobby, welcome drinks (although this is no longer an indicator, there are in ordinary hotels). The staff speaks both Russian and English, no problems.
We stopped by around 7-8 in the morning, after breakfast we wandered for an hour and were checked in. The room is good in general (but I'm not a gourmet about the room), but: the interior door - about 40 minutes later, two girls came into the next room, they were happy about their vacation and not only shouting and jumping, but they were clearly talking louder than usual and it was as if they were under our door. To be fair, it wasn't until the first night that they woke us up at 4 a.m., when they returned to the room, and on the second night they made a little noise, no longer bothering. There is very little space in the closet in the area of the hangers, it's just crooked, the crossbar itself is large, but the lion's share of it is located above the bedside tables, even T-shirts did not fit there. The tile on the floor in the room was chipped, not critical, but it spoils the overall look. One of the drawers is broken. All this hardly bothered me during my vacation (I may have used this box twice), but when everything is in a pile, it's unpleasant.
In the dining room, at all meals, you have to do everything yourself, it's okay, no one is proud, we just thought it would be like in a Barut - we went in, we saw you off, we sat you down, we brought drinks, like service. There is no such thing here.
In short, if you want service, then it doesn't make sense to go here. At the end, it was already explained to us that this Rixos is about business and business trips.
The heated outdoor pool is quite small.
One of the advantages is a great location (if you don't need to go to the sea, then a banana). 7+ km of the embankment, if you want to walk, if you want to ride a bike, run (flat). The old town is about 35-50 minutes on foot. You can also walk to various shopping centers (you have to go to the terrace), there are a lot of pharmacies around (as it turned out, everyone needs medical supplies from Turkey). An exchange office with a good exchange rate on the way to the Old Town.
There is an oceanarium nearby (prices start at 60 bucks).
In short, if you need to walk (30,000 steps went out about a day), then this is a very good option.
There were some guys among the staff (waiters) who communicated well, they were friendly and all that, but this seemed to be an exception.

Wonderful hotel, we come back again and again.
Ideally located at the beginning of the embankment on one side and within walking distance of the old town on the other side.

Convenient location - there is a promenade for walking, free bike rental, near the shopping center (within walking distance), Antalya aquarium, football stadium.
Amazing views from the hotel rooms.
There is a suspected swimming pool, which is very convenient for off-season recreation (from November to April).

A good city hotel, the Rixos level is felt. The activity of the city, and the opportunity to swim. a small children's club, the opportunity to rent bicycles - there is a place to ride, there is a park with bike paths around.
We often walked in the Old Town of Kaleichi, which is only 2 km away on foot! and close to the airport, ~20 minutes.
The territory is not large, and you will have to go either down the stairs to the beach (and back up), or take the city elevator. but for us it was not a disadvantage, rather the opposite.
The conclusion is a hotel for active recreation, and the beach as a bonus. For me, expectation and reality have coincided 👍🏻
