The tower is hidden between private houses, you need to wind through the streets to get there. The territory is well maintained, a small park, but it is closed, and there is not a soul, but I would like to go in.

The Round Castle is located in the village of Mardakyan on the Absheron Peninsula in Azerbaijan. Judging by the inscription on the fortress, it was built in 1232 by the architect Abdulmejid ibn Maksud, under Shirvanshah Gershasp. The fortress is round, now the locals call it Shykh galasy (Sheikh's fortress). The height of the donjon is 16 m, and the diameter is 7.6 m. The inner part is divided by spherical domes into 3 tiers, connected by spiral staircases in the thickness of the walls
