The worst service in Istanbul. We booked a room for 4 people for 4 days, the price included the cost of the spa. We arrived 1.5 hours before the check-in, waited 1.5 hours to find out that they did not have rooms available for 4 people, and our room had already been rented to someone. This is despite the fact that we booked a room a month in advance. At first, we were offered 2 separate rooms, and one in a dark room. Then a room with mold. Then a 3-bed room for four people in another hotel. As a result, we agreed to 2 rooms in another hotel with the opportunity to use the Royal Galata Spa. When we arrived at the promised spa, we were told "everything is booked for you personally and you personally will not receive a spa from us, get out", "you are Russians in Turkey, better keep quiet." We spent a total of 4 hours on them and did not achieve anything. Do not book this place if you do not want to spoil your vacation and get an unexpected "surprise" in the form of rudeness and a bunch of problems. We booked this hotel only because of the spa and in the end we didn't get any spa.
Oh, yes, a bonus. After sending us to another hotel where we have to pay in cash, Royal Galata attempted to charge the cost of the reservation from our card. It was lucky that there was a limit on the card. When we returned to them with this problem, we were sent again.

Spoiled mood and OVERBOOKING at the hotel! READ TO THE END!
We booked a family room for the 4th, we came to check in, but they don't give us our room, it's busy. Instead, they offer rooms in the basement or to live in 2 rooms upstairs, and then move, or even go to the hotel 2 blocks away, and from there go here to the SPA, which is also included in our price. We say: give us the rooms that you offer for one night, for the entire stay - they refuse us, only with relocation on another day or go to another hotel (which is not on Booking and reviews cannot be checked) without a SPA.
To whom did they give the room that we booked a month ago?!
In the end, they chose to settle in another hotel 2 blocks later, but Royal Galata refused to cancel the booking on Booking (!), and Booking on the day of check-in tried to write off the payment for accommodation in Royal Galata (!!!), although in the new hotel we They told me to pay in cash. Royal Galata stated upon repeated request, "we will not cancel anything, you just change the card so that it does not write off. And you can't go to the SPA today, everything is busy." They did not give discounts, they even tried to charge us 10 euros more in a new place, we had to swear to reduce the overpayment to 2 euros.
The next day, the SPA was not allowed, although it was promised as compensation for the inconvenience. Even more: the staff rudely sent three letters.

A beautiful and cozy hotel in the center of Istanbul. There is a mosque nearby, a minaret right through the windows, but it is good instead of an alarm clock.

Upon arrival at the hotel, they said that the room I had booked was already occupied. We communicated extremely unpleasantly, offering other options for rooms that do not correspond to the reservation. There is mold in the rooms. They moved into a nearby hotel, allowing them to use their spa. When we came to the spa, we were told that we had no right to use it because we were no longer their guests. Terrible service! I'll never come back!
