I recently visited Novospassk and saw the ruins of an ancient Uniate church. This place left a dual impression: on the one hand, there is a deep historical atmosphere, and on the other, sadness that the architectural monument is in an abandoned state.
Even in its dilapidated state, the church is impressive. Fragments of walls, part of the vaults have been preserved, and in some places decorative elements can be guessed. You can imagine how beautiful she looked in her prime. Especially interesting is the combination of features characteristic of Uniate churches — a mixture of Catholic and Orthodox traditions.
Unfortunately, the ruins are gradually collapsing. I would like local authorities or enthusiasts to pay attention to this landmark — at least the preservation of the remains of the building would help preserve it for future generations.
If you love history and atmospheric places, the ruins of the church in Novospassk are worth a visit. Here you can take interesting photos, reflect on the past and feel connected to a bygone era. However, be careful: the building is unsafe, it is better to inspect it from the outside.
This monument deserves more attention. I would like to believe that someday it will be restored or at least mothballed. For now, it remains a quiet reminder of a rich but forgotten legacy.

I really like abandoned manors, temples, and churches. This temple is one of those that I liked. But. The zone is dangerous. So be careful.
