In 1909, Priest John (Pashin) He was appointed rector of the Church of St. George the Great Martyr and Victorious in the village of Prilepy, Minsk district. In the very first year of his ministry here, he opened a one-class parish school in the village of Izbitsk, the premises for which were provided by the landowner N.I. Demidov, who also took over the costs of heating and lighting the school.
One of the remarkable events was the appearance in St. George's Church of the list of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, which was painted on Mount Athos and brought to St. George's Church in a procession with a huge gathering of people. Father John zealously followed the education of parishioners, and five parish schools operated under the guidance of the priest. He organized the Prilep Sobriety Society at the temple, which, increasing every year, grew into the Brotherhood of Sobriety, which had its own charter, anthem and banner. Over time, the church could no longer accommodate all the worshippers, and in 1912 the priest drew up a plan and estimate for the construction of a larger stone church, its main construction was completed in 1914, and it was consecrated on August 21, 1916.

The place is blessed and prayed for. The beauty around is incredible! The base is in good condition. The temple is waiting in the wings for restoration !!! There were hunters to destroy, but not really to build???!!!

It's an interesting place, it's just a pity that no one is promoting or trying to restore it. Historical value, in a very high place, I advise you to visit
