Beautiful places of Polesie. Very dignified, beautiful, well-groomed, lovingly landscaped. A spacious, interesting promenade; two-level ponds with swans and ducks; strange plants; rich history of the palace and the park. They are very kind, calm, and helpful people. We come here once a year. We always come for a walk to enjoy the park ensemble and the atmosphere.

It's beautiful, interesting, informative, and you should visit Gomel just for one place. An incredible collection of antiques: furniture, watches, weapons, books, icons, a local history exhibit, clothes!!! The staff are erudite and friendly. Everything is clear and duplicated in Russian. A huge park, lots of places for photos, a swan pond, 2 towers, reasonable prices to visit :). For 2 adults and a child 900 rubles :), in Moscow it is at least 3 times more expensive.

I really liked it, we took a certificate for everything (the palace, the observation tower, the winter garden). We divided the visit into two days - first the palace, the second day - the rest. The palace is definitely worth the time for a thorough study (beautifully restored), and it's great that there are benches everywhere - the child could sit and relax while my wife and I watched. Observation Tower - we arrived early in the morning to avoid the queue and did the right thing, but, to be honest, we were not so impressed. A historical place that you should definitely visit if you are in Gomel! I really liked the attitude, intelligence and kindness of the people who work - Thank you!!!

It's beautiful and charming. It is interesting to plunge into that time. You can buy both individual tickets and certificates for visiting (the manor, the winter garden, the observation deck, which is made of a sugar factory pipe), you can take an audio guide and quietly walk through the rooms. By the way, certificates are valid for a long time, so if you don't have time to look at something, you can come back another time.

One of the most beautiful parks in the country, and not only that!!! Museum...fairy tale. The embankment, cafes, attractions.... Everything is great!! And the local squirrels, they're all cute. And the temple is epic and cool, despite the fact that I remember it as a planetarium. In short, I advise everyone to visit and plan for the day.

We visited the museum on January 1, and the impressions were as positive as possible Affordable prices - a ticket for two left 20 rubles (palace, observation tower, winter garden). We also took an audio guide for 1.5 rubles - one is enough for two, it tells everything in great detail, a clear and uncomplicated system. Nice female caretakers, we asked them questions several times, they were happy to answer everything. 🥰 The tower offers magnificent views of the city, but it's better to go there in the summer, rather than in windy January. 😅 The winter garden is in fact just a large greenhouse with beautiful unusual plants. Happy New Year to all! 🫶🏼🌲🥳

We really enjoyed the tour, the competent guide told us with love and admiration about the features of the palace, the story of Irina Paskevich, which did not leave us indifferent. An interesting exposition, there are original exhibits that belonged to this particular palace. I advise you to visit.

The Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace is the main attraction of Gomel. It is located in a very beautiful place, on a high slope of the Sozh River. It is designed in the style of Russian classicism, surrounded by a magnificent park and Orthodox churches. Today it is a historical and cultural institution that anyone can visit.

It's a very impressive place. Great location, beautiful park with a wonderfully harmonious landscape. The feeling of the era of the 19th and early 20th centuries. A corner of history and beauty. I highly recommend it. I think the palace and park ensemble will look even more beautiful in summer.

A place that is mesmerizing. Once in Gomel, the first thing they had to do was visit the Palace. It turned out not in vain. The palace itself is just perfectly preserved and restored. The territory is so huge that you need to pause. The height differences, the way it's set up, are just fine. The embankment, with comfortable benches. There are remnants of preserved history on the slopes in the form of parts of buildings. Swans, carp, squirrels, etc. We were just surprised at how everything was restored and improved!!

The palace itself is not large, by the standards of St. Petersburg. But I liked both the architecture and the content. Historical living rooms, music rooms and new modern art are presented. Friendly staff.Thank you for your hospitality.

A very picturesque place around the palace. Well-maintained and beautiful territory. The palace itself is no less interesting, with antique furniture and an atmosphere of luxury from previous years. I really liked this palace, and there is something to compare it with. It reminded me of one of the castles in the Czech Republic. I advise you to visit!

The Rumyantsavykh i Paskevichay Palace is the rarest case when a historical monument was not only preserved, but also turned into a pearl of cultural heritage. At first glance, you realize that there is something special in front of you: the majestic architecture, well-groomed territory and stunning park create the feeling that you have entered another century. But the most important thing starts inside. The interior of the palace literally breathes history. Every corner, every detail has been carefully restored and presented with love. It's like you're moving through time, feeling the breath of past eras. The rich collection of exhibits, including unique pieces of furniture, paintings and decorative art, is amazing. The museum halls are organized in such a way that each exhibition becomes a separate adventure, immersing you in the atmosphere of noble life of the 19th century. Excursions here are a separate conversation. The guides have deep knowledge and an incredible talent for telling a story in such a way that it comes to life right before our eyes. Their passion for the cause is contagious, and even the most indifferent listener will leave here with a sense of deep respect for this place. But perhaps the most important thing is the magic that is in the air. The Rumyantsavykh I Paskevichay Palace is not just a museum, it is a living organism that continues to breathe, live and inspire. This is a place that makes you think about the past, present and future, about the value of heritage and the importance of preserving memory. Visiting the Palace of the Rumyantsavs and Paskevichay, you understand how important it is to respect and appreciate your heritage. This place should be a mandatory point in the itinerary of any traveler interested in the history and culture of Belarus.

Must-visit! It is very beautiful, there are a lot of exhibits, those that we have not even seen, although we often visit museums. The interior decoration, architecture, everything is very beautiful and rich, the pillared hall has marble columns with a golden frame. Inside, so far, everyone has walked around and wound 3 km. I left this place for last, but it so happened that we visited it first and did not regret it, we really liked it, we were pleasantly surprised. We were in December, but we saw a squirrel)

This is the first place to visit in Gomel. It's very interesting. It's a pity that almost no exhibits have been preserved. Everything was taken away after the war, then the house of pioneers. But in general, the museum staff did a great job to collect everything they could. The staff are generally friendly, answer questions, and are prepared for dialogue.

A gorgeous palace. Huge rooms, interesting compositions, you can visit all the halls, including the tower with 4 floors. On the 4th floor there is an exhibition of clay products and wood carvings. You will be in Gomel, do not pass by, not necessarily with an excursion, even without walking through the halls is a pleasure. The park area around the palace complex also deserves attention. Churches, adjacent embankment...

It can be seen that the reconstruction. Grandma's carpets didn't make me happy either (The staff is polite - the third star for the people who work there. I also liked the exhibition in the tower. One of the most beautiful architectural monuments! Now it is the museum of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. After the restoration, you enter the palace and find yourself in the era of the past: design, interior, architecture. The museum presents furniture of the last century, dishes, clothes, and what books are in the library - it's just beyond words! I just want to open the closet door and immerse myself in history ... and I definitely advise you to take a guide. It seems that you know a lot from history, but you will definitely discover many interesting facts and stories from the life of princes. Be sure to visit the palace, appreciate the flavor of art!!!

🏛️The Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace is the main attraction of Gomel. 🏛️It is named after its two successive owner families. 🏛️First in 1775. Catherine the Great granted the Gomel starost to Count Peter Rumyantsev and allocated money from the treasury for the construction of the count's palace. By 1794 it was built. 🏛️After Rumyantsev's death, the palace was inherited by his son Nikolai, a well—known diplomat, statesman and philanthropist, who was even more involved in the development of the palace and Gomel. 🏛️But in 1826, Nikolai Rumyantsev died (he had no heirs, because he loved the Empress and never married), and the palace passed to P. A. Rumyantsev's second son, Sergei, who sold it to the treasury in 1834 (he had only 3 daughters from his mistress, who could not inherit the palace). And the palace was bought for 800 thousand rubles by the famous Russian commander Ivan Fedorovich Paskevich. Under his leadership, the palace was reconstructed and a magnificent park was laid out. 🏛️The last owners of the estate were Field Marshal's son Fyodor (he had 3 sisters who could not be heirs) and his wife Irina. They had no children, as Fedor was wounded in the war. The couple did a lot for the development of Gomel, including the construction of hospitals, a sugar factory, and the Dobrusha paper mill. Russian tsars often came here, especially Nicholas II (for hunting and recreation). Fyodor died before the revolution, he and his two sisters (who had left for Paris), their parents were buried in a Chapel near the Palace. 🏛️Irina died in 1925 (she was evicted from the palace to her apartment) and her ashes were not buried in the Chapel.…Irininskaya Street in Gomel is named after her. 🏛️ 👆🏻The tour must be booked in advance, it didn't work out upon arrival. In this case, I advise you to take an audio guide (2 rubles in total). Do not hesitate to contact the caretakers of the halls of the palace - they will be happy to share the history of the families and the palace, for which we thank them very much. In summer, I consider the work of all facilities of the complex to be a disadvantage until 19:00, we only had time to see the Palace.

An interesting exposition, friendly caretakers, who, due to the absence of guides, themselves suggest and tell a lot. There is a very beautiful park around. A convenient certificate system, when you can visit all branches of the museum on different days. But the cash register in the basement is very problematic. It's stuffy there, it's a deep descent. I am disabled, it has become a problem for me. Plus a very loud-talking and annoying employee of the cash register. In general, the cash register is the only drawback.

Gomel Palace is a magnificent historical and architectural monument associated with the names of famous people of the Russian Empire, a wonderful museum in a park on the banks of the Sozh River. We got acquainted with the complex for two days, bought a gift certificate to enter and visit. We examined all the available objects and expositions of the museum with great interest. I really liked the palace library. She made a special impression. The brightest example of architecture of the late 18th century. Located on a hill above the Sozh River, wrapped in a shady park, the palace is the pearl of the city of Gomel. In the numerous halls you will get acquainted not only with the history of the aristocrats who lived in it, but also with the history of Gomel region. A place worth visiting!
