We are having a rest at the Ruslan hotel.
Let's start with the hotel:
Overall a good hotel, we have a view of the sea, it's a bomb.
You wake up in the morning and just looking out the window you get a huge portion of positive emotions!
We turn to the minor disadvantages of this bed and the mattress, the bed creaks a lot, the mattress is also bedsore.Wi-Fi normally takes both on the beach and in the cafe, about the cafe later.There were water outages, but not for long.
On the downsides, that's all, the administrators are responsive on the first request, they help with the issues of vacationers WELL DONE.
Now we turn to the cafe at the hotel:
Guys, the cafe is a bomb.The dishes are huge.
The best kebab in Gagra (juicy, fresh, just melts in your mouth) The kebab maker is handsome,respect and respect the master in his place!!!It also starts good music, there is a fountain at the cafe that turns on very beautifully from time to time.

We were in different establishments and were often disappointed with the usual dishes😳 in the Ruslan cafe everything is delicious from breakfasts to shish kebab 😍 shawarma, lagman, shish kebab, pasta, salads - everything is perfect 🙏 the cook is a wonderful woman 😍 from our family, who loves to eat delicious food - many thanks 😘

Many years later, we had a vacation in Abkhazia this year in mid-February.
We stayed at this hotel for the first time. To say that the hotel is tired is not to say anything. We took a room with a sea view. Perhaps this is the only thing that could cheer you up. It's very cold in the room, the walls are cracked, the paint is peeling, the floor is sooo cold (without slippers is not an option), it's even colder in the shower than on the balcony))). The furniture is old (creaks). Please note, before you check in, check everything for durability), because the price tags for damage to property (which are already barely breathing) are impressive.
What's great: the staff, the girls are very responsive, they helped us in all matters. The price at this time of year is also ridiculous. For a room with a sea view (2000 rubles for three people)
To go to it, only because of the first coastline and the view of the sea.

In general, the price-quality ratio is acceptable. We faced a water and electricity outage for almost the whole day, this problem was all over the city, but for some reason the hotel administration pretended that it was not aware of the situation and this was the first time. There were questions about cleaning, which they decided not to do in the last days of our stay, and about using additional services such as laundry. Having given 3 things to wash, I did not expect that I would be asked for 900 rubles😄
One wash, by the way, costs 300 rubles. Well, the administrator decided to make 3 downloads, well, what's the big deal here
In general, the hotel is no frills, but quite passable, located on the shore, with a view of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. There is a restaurant at the hotel (we did not like it), But it is worth working with the attitude towards tourists, of course.

I was there with my family, we got there by accident. We went to the smell)). The kebab turned out to be indescribable in taste. Bravo to the barbecue! The cheapest salad is 300 rubles (tomatoes with cucumbers) , there are no more dishes cheaper than 450-500 rubles (except porridge and scrambled eggs , they are 250-300 too ! Across the street, the dining room there is 2-2.5 times cheaper, only the service is worse!

It's a terrible place.
The service was long and unpleasant, the waiter did everything as if she was being forced. The territory is not as cozy as possible, yard dogs run around the tables and music screams very loudly. I was struck by the fact that all the doors to the kitchen are open (the cafe is located right next to the road), the chefs cook without gloves, while cooking one of the chefs used the phone. The food is so-so, the kebab is dry, I don't say anything about khachapuri at all (in the understanding of the local chef, khachapuri is a huge thick cake made of dough, in which 20 grams of cheese are at most). When they asked to pack the food with them, the waiter just brought two bags and told them to fold themselves. The receipt automatically includes 10% for the service, without even informing you about it.
Plus to all of the above, they were severely poisoned here
Conclusion: I advise you to avoid this place

All signs of poisoning.. Vomiting, diarrhea, chills, weakness. The price tag is not weak and they gave a lot, but nevertheless.. Draw conclusions! Review of the cafe around the fountain.
I did not like the beach - large sand with stones. It is not realistic to walk with bare feet without avacas. This is not mentioned anywhere in the reviews. Few people write about a concrete breakwater in the water near the shore either. It is impossible to swim in excitement. In general, the impressions are not ice yet.

Not the best place to eat. We visited it twice, both times we were greeted by waitresses with an expression of "how you got me all" (well, why be friendly, tips are already automatically included in the bill). Their clean appliances look like this (see photo). Price tags are at the level of top cafes in Gagra. The kitchen is generally not bad. On the plus side, it is cool (even at +30) and atmospheric.

Nice hotel and wonderful rooms with sea views!
For 3* it is very cool and cheap.
It falls short of 4 * only because of the bathroom.
The furniture is rustic, but the room is decorated beautifully, with taste.
It's not so great with a view of the road: the noise of cars, the smell of smoke from a kebab shop and loud music from a cafe in season may not appeal to everyone.
There is a cheap cafe "Boat" opposite.

We went to a cafe to have a snack.The children were ordered Caesar pizza.They probably don 't know the classic recipe .
