The museum needs an urgent refurbishment.
First there should be signs directing to museum. Parking is not available.
The old lady guide was very nice and welcoming but the museum was in bad condition.

The museum is a must-visit at the very beginning of your vacation in Samarkand! A wonderful lecture by the head of the museum, for the two of us they told the whole history of Uzbekistan on the example of the incredible life of an excellent writer, whose stories I immediately wanted to read!!! You won't regret going!

I really liked the tour at the museum of the brilliant writer, thinker and public figure Sadriddin Aini. After such a detailed story by the head of the museum, Amriddin Pulaev, our view of the history of the region changed.
I recommend this museum to be the first to visit, the perception of other attractions of Samarkand will be more interesting and deeper.
I will note the convenient location on the main street.

Walking through the streets of Samarkand Sadriddin Aini under an audio guide, I wanted to go to the house museum. I strongly recommend staying at this place. Special thanks to the head of the museum Amriddin for the amazing and fascinating story about the great writer and Samarkand.

Samarkand is famous for its architecture: madrassas and tombs. We also came here for this, and it seems that we were not going to dig deeper than traditional tourism. But by chance we came across Sadreddin Aini's sweet house museum. An unknown person, whom everyone knew about an hour later from the excellent guide and the head of the museum. An hour on the terrace in the rain with a story about the great writer is one of the best memories of Samarkand. I highly recommend you to visit. Without this museum, the picture of Samarkand and Uzbekistan would not be complete.

A very cozy and unusual place. You can feel the spirit of the writer and the special atmosphere of the house. In the process of telling a female guide, you get into it and realize that the person had great talent, which earned respect and honor from his students and colleagues. I recommend you to visit! Many thanks to the museum staff who keep the memory of the writer alive.

I made a very pleasant impression, the head of the museum - from the old Samarkand intelligentsia - conducted a tour in pure Russian academic language, a great enthusiast in his field. I haven't read his books like that, but I remember an old folio with his name on the cover, and I hope it was introduced into the local school curriculum.

Красочный и интересный дом Садриддина Айни. Дом сохранился хорошо, внутри очень красиво, сохранились также личные вещи писателя и его супруги. Работники дома-музея рассказали все очень подробно, познавательно и интересно о жизни самого писателя и о доме.

Unexpectedly cool place. The museum's exposition itself does not produce a wow effect, but the fact that the head of the museum told us about Aini, his life and the events of that time makes this place stand out from our entire journey. The museum staff really love their work, they are very friendly and interesting storytellers.

We were not offered an excursion, I learned that it exists only later from the reviews. In fact, at the museum, an employee came with us into each room with the words: this is his office, this is his bedroom, these are his personal belongings, this is tooth powder. Given the lack of translation on the exhibits, nothing. Fortunately, the ticket does not cost long, it is free for children. Not much time has been spent. I strongly do not recommend it without an excursion.

Небольшой, но очень интересный музей.
Долго искала вход, так как зашла со стороны жилых домов (как показывал навигатор). Все оказалось намного проще, входить надо с центральной улицы со стороны проезжей части.
Конечно, я ничего не знала о писателе, но после возвращения домой, очень захотелось познакомиться с его творчеством. Девушка из музея посоветовала 2 произведения - "Старая школа" и "Смерть ростовщика", по которому был даже снят фильм.

Уголок тишины в центре ❤️ Приятные смотрители музея, хорошая экспозиция, интересная история писателя. После музея - захотелось прочитать некоторые произведения писателя, думаю это как раз главная достигнутая цель этого музейного комплекса 🙏

Замечательный уютный музей! К сожалению,мы ничего не знали об этом талантливом поэте,писателе,просветителе,распространителе таджикского языка до этого дня. Мы пришли в 16:30,там был один мужчина,который за 50000 сум провел для нас интереснейшую часовую(!) экскурсию об этом значимом для культуры Узбекистана, Таджикистана,да и мировой в целом,человеке. Мы с мужем остались под огромным впечатлением, экскурсовод настолько увлечен и так грамотно рассказывает,что вышли мы только с одним желанием:прочитать хотя бы одну книгу Садриддина Айния!!

Очень интересная история писателя и история того времени, когда он жил. Замечательный гид. Надо идти только с экскурсией. Жаль нельзя купить там книги. Буду покупать уже дома. Обязательно сходите.

Очень душевное место в центре Самарканда. Проваливаешься в аутентичную атмосферу. Да и личность Айни очень примечательная.

Музей без экскурсии был бы не интересен. А с гидом очень понравился. Интересно и душевно провели экскурсию. До - не знали ничего про Айни, после - узнали и главное запомнилось многое. Обидно, что когда искали вход в музей, спрашивали у местных, и никто даже не слышал, что есть такой музей у них в городе. Это стыдно.
