The gorge. Quite picturesque. There are a lot of people. At the entrance there is a passage through an icy clear river, then 500 m along islands of stones and a mud stream (water with a lot of viscous clay) . Gradually it becomes deeper and fewer people. After 500 m, the first waterfall is about the height of a man. If you climb, then another 500 meters of an almost deserted obstacle course of waist-high cargo flow stones and rapid water rolls. This section is served by guides who offer escort and assistance for money. Their work costs the requested money ($15 per person), etc. it increases the chances of not breaking anything. Group acrobatics is needed in a couple of places. At the very end there is a mud waterfall 4 meters high and a ghostly opportunity to go further along a completely deserted gorge.
As a result, I do not recommend it. You won't find any special beauties. If you go, limit yourself to the first 200 m. And then go rafting - it's much more interesting. There are also nuances there)
The proposed 45-minute rafting actually turns out to be a 20-minute swim for 4 km, a 30-minute wait for loading on the bus and a 10-minute return. But it's fun. I recommend.

The gorge is very beautiful
There are small waterfalls near the cafe and the water in the river is sooo cold. But then it gets much warmer and it's quite comfortable to walk.
We didn't get to the very end, to the waterfall. For a complete impression, the accessible part of the route was enough)
Wear special slippers, they are really more comfortable than sandals.
The advice is to come in the morning working.

We bought transparent sneakers (aquasocks) next to the parking lot, because without special shoes, you will not pass the route, if the goal is of course to go the route to the end, if you just walk nearby, then you can also wear crocs! The cost of shoes is 150-200 liras , entrance to the park is about 40 liras per person , parking is 100 liras , cards are not accepted , Russian for sure ) Along the route: it's definitely not worth taking a bag, it's better to put a backpack there, put things and water away, if you want to go without things at all, then next to the parking lot, in shopping malls you can buy a waterproof pocket for your phone, we just put the car key in such a pocket! Part of the way goes well, until the moment when it is necessary to climb a high stone, the workers of the gorge usually sit there, offering their help with the passage to the final destination, because the way to the waterfall is much more difficult and you cannot cope without male strength for sure! The cost of an escort is about $ 30! The waterfall at the end of the route is small, nothing special, the best thing in the gorge is the views! The water in some places will be waist-deep (at 170 height), so you will definitely get wet! The whole route back took 2 hours! I advise you to take dry clothes and a towel, you can leave it in the car, and change in the toilet, the toilet is 10 lira!

An interesting, beautiful place. You can take a minibus from Fethiye (otogar) on your own. This is better than buying a safari tour to Saklikent. Throughout the trip, the so-called water pistol war takes place. If it is interesting, then you can take a guided tour. But keep in mind that they only give an hour to inspect the patient. That's not enough. The place deserves much more attention. The water is cold there, I recommend taking comfortable rubber shoes.

But we were not prepared: it turns out that at the beginning you need to cross a mountain river, very cold, and then walk all the time through mud and stones. It's quite painful if you do it barefoot. If we had been wearing flip-flops, in which you can walk along the river, then through the mud, the impressions would probably have been more positive.

An interesting place, the beauty and grandeur of nature 🔥 in early April, there is a lot of water in the gorge (a swimsuit and aquashouses are required), do not even think about going in flip-flops or without shoes ! There are very slippery rocks in the water. An interesting and exciting route will give you a lot of impressions! The route itself (in April) is not easy, you need to wade through the gorge knee-deep and sometimes waist-deep in water, we could not reach the end, there were no climbing stones, there was only an instructor, but half of the route was very interesting and fun 👍

The nature is incredibly beautiful. The first 1,500 meters are available in both crocs and aquasocks (bought them on the spot for 150 lire pair). Definitely not in flip-flops! Then there is a huge boulder on the way, we did not go further and returned (although we saw how the men were hooked). Entrance is 40 lira, parking is free. There weren't many people at 10:30, but when we returned around 12:30, there were sooo many people. We had lunch right there in the cafe - delicious, prices are like everywhere else.

(if not, then if something is being sold near the entrance). Be prepared that the water is VERY cold at the beginning, even if you walk only a few meters along it. Otherwise, be careful, look at your feet when you walk, do not forget to stop to admire the beauties from above and around!)

Nicely. If you want to walk along the gorge, it is better to bring shoes for walking along the bottom of the stream, so as not to buy. We didn't have it with us, we bought 150 lire each in the same place. Parking is cheaper.
Helmets are lying at the entrance somehow unnoticeably, so almost no one puts them on, although it is better to put them on for safety.
In my opinion, it was enough to stay in the main area where the water was clean, there was no point in splashing through the mud, and there were no views either.

You can only confirm all the rave reviews - the place is magnificent and worth a visit.
There is food, Parking, rental of rubber slippers (but it is better to have your own). And put in more time. We were in the middle of June, in places the water was much higher than the knee, but you can go and it's very interesting. We got to this place after all with an excursion and here was one, but significant disadvantage. The tour was from Marmaris and also included a visit to the Oludeniz lagoon and lunch. As a result, there are a lot of trips, galloping everywhere, but for some reason they decided that an hour was enough for the gorge itself. In fact, it would be better to just bring them to the gorge and let them walk there. Think about it before agreeing to the tour.

A very beautiful canyon, the largest in Turkey and the second in Europe! I definitely recommend visiting, it is better in September - October - November, when there is less precipitation. Walking will be easier. There's nothing to do in sneakers, there's water all around, you need to wear crocs.

Interesting, but not safe. The route along the bottom of a huge gorge, a rockfall is not excluded, after the entrance there is a rental of helmets and special shoes. A path through rocks and water, knee-deep at most. The ticket is 24 lira, but having reached a certain stage (you can safely go to it with a camera or a phone, there are enough beautiful views), you cannot pass without the help of local guides. The help consists in putting you on high thresholds and demonstrating concern for your safety and costs 15 euros per person. At the end of the route there is an uncomplicated waterfall under a stone and a rope up (another continuation of the route for another surcharge, we were not there). As a result: If there is no special desire to ride on the neck of local guys, then you can stop on the basic route without the help of a guide. Nicely.

It may be beautiful there, but somehow many people overlook the fact that it is very difficult to walk along a mountain river there. At first, everything is cool 200 meters, a wooden bridge and a beautiful mountain river, and then you go down and it turns out you need to cross this mountain river. The water is icy, my legs are cramping, I couldn't get through, so even when I tried, my shoes were washed away. I don't understand why they didn't put a bridge there, too. My friends managed to get through and it turns out that there are even more tests there: huge rocks that you have to climb. The locals offer to help for money, the steeper the ascent, the more expensive their help is, the price reaches $ 100 per person! If you are in excellent physical shape and are ready to walk through the icy mountain river on the rocks and continue climbing on the rocks, then you can try to get to the end of the way. In my opinion, there is a waterfall at the end, but none of us ever found out, because in the middle of the way the rocks were already insurmountable without special equipment and help.

This is the most beautiful canyon in Turkey. Admission is only for cash, cards are not accepted, tickets are inexpensive (about 100 rubles). If you are in the summer, I recommend coming to the opening, taking waterproof smartphone cases, shoes for walking on pebbles (crocs on laces, or aquashouses - just not flip-flops). And to wear short shorts, it is necessary to pass through the first stream of water (it is cold, flows strongly, somewhere knee-deep) - then everything is much easier, do not be afraid. The last stage is held only with instructors, prepare money if you want to walk to the waterfall. Impressions and pictures will last for a long time!
