Sam Osh offers a nice atmosphere for dining and has a pretty decent taste. However, if you’re expecting the soft, original Samarkand-style plov, this might fall a bit short.
The plov here has a firmer texture, lacking the traditional softness you might be used to. Still, it’s a good spot to enjoy a flavorful meal in a welcoming environment.

Delicious, healthy and the best Samarkand-style pilaf (plov, osh) in Tashkent. Really recommend it to everyone who visited capital of Uzbekistan. It's crowded during lunch and dinner time, so go a bit earlier. Enjoy the best Uzbek cuisine

SamOsh in my personal opinion is the place where the best 3 Samarkand oshi in the city of Toahkent are prepared. There is no point in cooking, nutritious, large in size, salads are excellent. The usual hda will take 2 servings for 3 people and 4 servings for 6 believe you will be full if you are not a good-natured speaker and bear 😁the monks will always be in control, be alert

It's a somewhat inconvenient location, given the terrible traffic jams in the area, but there is parking if you drive behind the main street.
The cafe itself is not particularly cozy, it's just a big noisy hall, there are a lot of tables, and there are also waiters. There is nothing superfluous on the menu, they bring a tray with salads, it is very cleverly thought out that there is a minimum of salad on a plate, but there is a choice among salads, I want both)
The pilaf itself is good, served according to your order in lagan or individually, we didn't experience much delight from the taste, it seemed to me too much oil, the rice just floated in it.

Hello!
We can freely say that this is the best Samarkand pilaf in Tashkent. The portion is excellent, there is a lot of meat, if desired, a whole plate of meat will be added for an additional fee. The range of appetizers for pilaf is large.
The staff is normal, considering that a lot of people come there. At some point, there are not enough waiters. There are delays, but it's bearable.

Delicious incomparable Samarkand pilaf in Tashkent! There is nothing superfluous on the menu, everything is delicious and for pilaf. Pilaf is cooked in linseed oil, the meat is the most tender, rice to rice. The service is fast. The salads are delicious. I often visit this place and take foreign guests, everyone likes it, everyone is happy.
Of the cons:
1. A huge number of people who want to taste pilaf during rush hours - at lunch, the disorganization of the institution to put things in order in this matter: people are standing over their souls while you are sitting at the table and eating, they will repeatedly come up and ask if they are busy after you. An unpleasant picture. Visitors cannot be blamed for this. Therefore, it is best to arrive before 12 o'clock.
2. There is no menu! There is no price list with prices anywhere! You will learn everything from the words of the waiter. We often visit this place, we know the prices, so we observed different situations: the same number of people and the same order on different days, as a result, the price tag is different! For the sake of experiment, they ordered less, but the price tag still did not decrease! Why? The influence of the weather, the phase of the Moon, the strait and low tide, the rate of the dinar or the mood of the cashier is a mystery.
I want to believe and hope that the owners will fix the situation for the better.

The most delicious pilaf is probably here. It is prepared for a certain time, as they say in the announcement at the entrance. The portions are huge. In addition to the pilaf, snacks are brought on a tray, and you choose not from the menu, but directly from the tray. And the prices! We paid about 600 rubles in Russian money for the two of us. For me, this is the best pilaf in Tashkent. He's the only one I get high from. The quality is still excellent. Everything is always busy. Come on Friday at 12:30~13:00 and a place will be provided for you, since everyone is at Friday prayer. On other days, you can stand for 30 minutes waiting for a free table.
