It's an amazing place in its atmosphere and color. Top-level service, local national interiors, local national cuisine. The prices are above average, but for tourists it is a must-visit! They don't cook fast, but they're delicious.

Everything is fine, both the interior and the kitchen are the best in Shymkent. The assortment of beef dishes needs to be added a little bit, and I think there will be no free places soon, I advise everyone to visit.

I discovered this place two years ago. Definitely here for delicious national Kazakh food. I confidently give a recommendation as the best restaurant of national cuisine in Kazakhstan.
The menu is not overloaded with a variety of world cuisine, I mean pizza, pasta, lagman, pilaf and sushi, but it is balanced and enough not only to satisfy hunger, but also to enjoy the sophistication of cooking and serving seemingly simple dishes of the Kazakh steppe.
All the dishes served here surprise and delight - from Baursaks with jam or stuffed with homemade cottage cheese, to Bal kuyrdak of horse meat, Nan salma with homemade vegetable sauce or Kazak et (Beshparmak) (photo attached).
Everyone can say, "My grandmother cooks tastier," but here you can appreciate not only the taste, but also the aesthetics of serving dishes and the interior. Also, each dish has its own zest, which your grandmother compensates with a sincere attitude, but here it is materialized in your plate. 😋
The interior is not authentic, in a good way. It is not overloaded with unnecessary details of everyday life, which are usually collected from all villages to show how hard life was for ordinary people in a yurt. Elements of Kazakh culture have been harmoniously integrated into the modern design in order to unobtrusively hint at its roots and create a pleasant atmosphere for a visitor who wants to have a good time and treat himself and his guests to national cuisine in its exquisite embodiment.
The staff corresponds to all of the above and is harmonious in the overall perception of the institution. I think these words are enough to understand the level of service.

A restaurant of national Kazakh cuisine in Shymkent. I was struck by a huge bread basket. The salads and meat were delicious. There is no alcohol on the menu - neither beer nor wine, but we were offered to try koumiss. We tried it - wine is not a substitute. The interior is pleasant - wood and bright carpets. Waiters in national clothes. Nicely. But we had to fight for their attention, we did not take the initiative ourselves. Management needs to work with this!

A place for those who have a chance to eat national cuisine. The price tag is too high for the dishes. I am not at all impressed by the portion size and taste of the dishes. There are places where you can also eat delicious but less expensive. The interior is also not impressive. This place was advised as the best for those who want to eat beshbarmak.... I'm not sure. There will be no desire to go there to eat anymore. I don't see any point in overpaying just because the waiters have nice suits.

The cuisine is authentic - Kazakh with original dishes. The interior at the entrance speaks about the nature of the kitchen. There are high tables on the lower floor, whereas upstairs there is a space with a low table, near which up to 15 people can be accommodated. The noise level allows you to communicate without shouting over, as is the case in many catering establishments. You definitely need to go here for food and conversations with the company. The ground floor may be suitable for people with physical disabilities.

In general, we got up and went to another cafe.
