On April 30, we came with our guests for lunch at the Sandyk Turkestan restaurant. We agreed on the menu in advance and made a deposit, so we expected the appropriate level of service. We ordered 5 servings of "Kymyz kabarga" and 10 servings of "Kaktalgan kazy". It turned out on the spot that there were no vegetables for salads in the kitchen, which looks extremely unprofessional for a restaurant with a pre-agreed menu. The main disappointment is the quality of the dishes. Some of the meat was served over-dried, with almost no fat, while the other part, on the contrary, turned out to be undercooked (raw inside). Moreover, the declared quality of the steaks did not meet expectations: instead of normal roasting, they served actually cooked meat followed by roasting, which greatly spoiled the taste. As a result, many of the ordered items were never finished. Additionally, the situation was aggravated by the general organization: the air conditioner was not working in the hall, the chef was absent from the workplace, and the administrator, Assel, showed no interest in solving problems and made it clear that she was not bothered by customer reviews. As a result, it seemed that all the problems coincided at one point: the dishes could not be prepared properly, there were no necessary products for salads, and the level of service was extremely low. The total amount of the order was 160,000 tenge, of which 19,000 tenge is 15% for service. At the same time, the question remains — what exactly was this fee charged for, if the service turned out to be at this level. When they tried to voice the claims, the situation was never resolved. The result is a spoiled lunch and an extremely negative impression. I do not recommend you to visit.
