This is my old love. The tavern "By the Lake" is a place without which it is already difficult to imagine Brest. It is a very beautiful and atmospheric place, with unusual delicious food, a good location, and wonderful staff. More often I take pictures and admire outside, walking or listening to music nearby, by the lake. But sometimes I look inside. For example, for rabbit pies, pancakes or shish kebab. It's good that Brest has such an Inn!

We went according to the recommendation. The kitchen is excellent. Traditional food and drinks, the cooking quality is excellent.
The children and adults were delighted. It's a pity that we couldn't assess the location on the lake directly, because it was a winter evening, but the warm atmosphere compensated for everything.

There are many places worth visiting in Brest. The tavern by the lake is both an attraction and a place where you will be fed with awesome goodies.

There are outdoor spaces under the roof and indoors. It is comfortable to sit both there and there. Everything is clean and tidy. The order is being monitored.
The range of dishes is large, everything is worth a try.
We took a barbecue of different meats, a set of liqueurs, salted mushrooms, pancakes and a couple of salads. Everything was very, very on the level. Satisfying and delicious.
Katerina served us, conquered us with her beauty, attentiveness and quality of service.
Calm music from the Soviet stage was playing.
Nearby, let me remind you, there is a small lake. You can ride a catamaran or a boat around the island with a huge beautiful spreading willow.
The prices are not too high at all. It turned out to be inexpensive.
It was very tasty. We ate everything, even though we ordered it beyond our physical capabilities)

It's a great place. Inside there is an interesting interior, a menu for every taste, friendly staff, answered all questions and took into account all wishes. The kitchen is sooo delicious, thanks to the chefs. They took pork ribs - the meat was the softest and moved away from the bone, there was a gorgeous fish ambassador in the pancakes with salmon - it was not too salty, the pancakes themselves were not burnt, without a bitter crust and did not drown in oil, the dessert was magnificent, I had not eaten such a delicious cupcake for a long time. Separately, I want to note that takeaway items are neatly packaged in a package and a craft bag, if there are many packages, they offer a T-shirt for easy transfer. We were satisfied with the establishment, it has the most delicious cuisine and the best service in Brest

Perhaps the only drawbacks are the nondescript appearance of the building and its location in a park.
But when you get inside, you begin to immerse yourself in the national culture and, of course, the cuisine.
The menu is not huge (this is a tavern, not a restaurant), but there is everything you need to make a complete impression - draniki, macaque, meat, fish, soups, desserts and of course your own tinctures and liqueurs, which by the way can be bought to take away in a stylized sealed bottle.
The unobtrusive music of the last century contributes to an even deeper immersion.
The price tag is not shocking.
We've been there twice, and I want to go back and try everything.

Starting with the interior and the music and ending with the service and the kitchen - everything is fine! And what a view outside the window! Complete enjoyment! Thanks to the administrators and waiters for their politeness, smiles and a clear description of all the dishes of interest. The food, as they say, is "hot from the heat" Fresh, hot and very very tasty! And, of course, we also checked out homemade tinctures. The feed is very fast. We all liked the food and it was much better than we had eaten in restaurants before.
The price tag is very democratic! My children and I ate for less than 100 rubles! Without alcohol. We bought it separately both for ourselves and as a gift to friends. They took horseradish and zubrovka.
We took cakes and potatoes to take away. We ate them later and they were great!
We really liked everything about this place. 👍 We got the most pleasure (and visual the same) for reasonable money 💷

A tourist place and a tourist establishment. I was disappointed. Beautiful interior, And good service, waiters. But the kitchen is average, I ate kebabs and tastier. It's not about anything. My wife liked the halibut and his friends praised it. Draniki are also average. The restaurant has a small menu. There's enough to drink and have a snack. There are tinctures of their own for 4 rubles. I was driving so I didn't try it, I hope it's good. If the manual reads this, you have a lot to grow. Tourists come to you, especially Russians from the sanatoriums of the region. Don't disappoint them. Belarusian cuisine is much more interesting, soulful and tastier. Cook with your soul. Try to visit other restaurants yourself, for example in Minsk. And you will understand what you are missing. Change for the better!

We were accepted, offered a table (although we did not book), thank you for that🙌 But when our order was accepted, we no longer had to say thank you for something. The very first thing that was brought to us (for a moment! After 30 minutes) It was a set of tinctures. After another 20 minutes, a basket of bread was brought. The main feed took place after 55 minutes!!! Of course, the landing was tight, but we managed to notice that the next table was served very quickly. We accepted the order at the same time, only at the next table the draniki appeared after 15 minutes, on our table, I remind you 55 minutes.
The quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired. There were 4 of us, unfortunately we did not appreciate any of the dishes... we travel a lot, but this is the first time we have met such an attitude…

A great cafe with national cuisine. Everything is very tasty!!! The portions are large. The original serving of dishes. The musical accompaniment is interestingly chosen. The place is twofold, to put it mildly.
A very cool bartender, his amazing attitude to customers and the desire to leave them satisfied.
On the other hand, there is a kitchen and staff service.
We placed an order, after which the waiter placed an order at the next table.
But in the end, they brought it to the neighbors first, and then to us. That's because there was a local big shot there.
After we told the staff that we had been sitting for 40 minutes and at least the slicing could have been brought immediately, things went faster, BUT you won't wait for the general serving there, as a result, while two dishes cooled down, 2 more were brought and we finally started eating.
If you are used to the fact that borscht should be rich with pork or beef, then here it is with chicken and perhaps these are the features of national cuisine, BUT why say that it is on beef broth???
Grilled pork is not about the grill at all, there is no smoke taste, ordinary boiled pork that was fried.
The dumplings are not salty, neither in the broth that the cat cried, nor in the meat!
The herring of its own salting is excellent, BUT can you get the ribs out of it? It is not difficult and raises the quality of the product to a new level!
