Yesterday we got to the vaunted Inn, having read rave reviews. We went without prior reservation. The seats in the hall were booked, but we did not apply for them. We were interested in the outdoor terrace, and we actually landed on it. We had to wait a bit and after a while we sat down at a table. I really wanted borscht with pampushka and dumplings with cherries. But they weren't on the menu. As there was no duck and homemade kvass. Half of the menu was missing, although there was a full reservation in the hall until tomorrow... strange… Then we ordered tongue, beef, pork in dark beer and turkey cutlets. The portions were large, each dish was served with its own sauce, everything was delicious. But in each dish, the side dish was potatoes in one form or another (mashed, baked, boiled). Considering that we ordered draniki separately, it was too much. The liqueurs were delicious, and we liked them. To sum up: the food is delicious, but going there for something specific, there is a risk that this dish may not be there.

After visiting Brest Fortress, we found it according to the reviews on Yandex and did not lose out, an amazing place with maximum flavor, the waiters are sweet, the service is excellent, sensitive and attentive, unobtrusive. The food is simply delicious, everything is very tasty, the portions are large, we thought we would burst, it is located in a cool location, the interior is fully immersed in ENT, we will definitely come back here again. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who finds themselves in Brest! I discovered it only on my third visit and was glad of it. Excellent cuisine and chef's work. A hearty mushroom soup according to all the laws of the genre, tender turkey cutlets with mashed potatoes, dumplings with cherries, and pies as if from a picture both in appearance and taste! Good tinctures (by the way, I recommend starting with a set of different ones to choose according to taste). The menu is not overloaded and at the same time completely diverse. It should be noted that the feed is quite fast. Yes, we were out of season, not at full landing, but nevertheless everything was very fast. I would also like to mention the attentive staff, who not only surround you with care, but also create a good mood with attention, humor and kindness! I was pleasantly pleased with the interior and exterior, and there are many interesting details that I want to look at. For example, the toilet rooms are humorously marked with a man's boot and a lady's shoe. Textiles, tableware, lighting design of the halls – everything is aimed at creating a cozy atmosphere. If you book in advance, you can perfectly sit near the panoramic windows overlooking the lake. In summer, I think this place is even more atmospheric! Blankets and special smoking areas are provided for smoking guests, again with a view of the pond. By the way, there are many places to plant outdoors in the warmer months. As for the financial side, the prices are quite reasonable in rubles. A rich lunch with alcohol and desserts was cheaper than an average restaurant somewhere in Moscow. The few hours before the train flew by unnoticed, and the pies and liqueur taken on the road were a good aftertaste of the evening, literally and figuratively! Many thanks to the institution and I hope to see you again!

After a series of Soviet department "cafes" and "canteens", this establishment has become an oasis for the soul of an aesthete and gastronomic research The spirit of those times in all its details: samovars, national costumes, fireplace, background music, "elbow vodka" (a set of shots with liqueurs and tinctures) - I have not met a more authentic place in my entire journey through Belarus. Special thanks to the waitress and the chef - the halibut was truly divine (without exaggeration)!!! I can't convey all the emotions! Come and see for yourself! I recommend for those who wish to taste the national cuisine and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Slavic culture of the XIX -XX centuries.

We recently visited the "Tavern by the Lake" in the central park of Brest — and it was just a fire! The cuisine is excellent: all the dishes are fresh, delicious, hearty portions of Slavic and Belarusian cuisine. The service is fast and attentive — the waiters are efficient, without delay.The place is cozy, overlooking the lake, ideal for a family dinner or relaxing after a walk in the park. The atmosphere is colorful, like in a real tavern. I definitely recommend it, we'll come back again. Visited in January 2026.

The cuisine is great, Slavic, the dishes are huge. We tried borscht, dumplings, beef medallions with draniki, dumplings (self-made, huge), there are no questions about any dish, the chef and assistants -Bravo!!! The service is excellent, the waiters are well versed in the menu. Meals are served within half an hour with the hall fully seated. I applaud the whole team, thank you very much. It was the last day of my stay in the republic, and by visiting this institution (the experience was not very good the night before), my impressions were very positive!!!! And the location is very atmospheric, on the shore of a reservoir, there is a lot of greenery around.

It has its own special atmosphere, especially at night. The heating is powerful, it was hot in a separate room, you can go out for a breath and admire the lake and the ducks. The dishes are delicious, though a little expensive. The setting is beautiful. The service is pleasant. However, in a separate room for weddings, there is not enough space for a free passage behind the chairs, you need to suck in your stomach if you have one. :)

It's a beautiful place! It has its own Parking, pleasant exterior and interior. The staff is very polite and attentive. I would especially like to mention the hostess Daria, who was very friendly and suggested places to go while we were waiting for the table to be vacated. We also express our gratitude to the waiter Anton, the service is excellent! According to the menu, everything was very tasty. Rich borscht with a normal amount of meat, draniki with meat filling, the softest pork and a samovar with tea - they ate their fill. Shingles are more like potato pancakes, borscht is not saturated. The bacon was delicious, the barbecue was average, and the cake was wonderful. Business lunch - cheese soup- water, salad, minimal gram, buckwheat and cutlet are delicious. If you don't want to raise the cost of a business lunch, then it's better to choose between salad and soup and make them richer/tastier.

A cozy and beautiful restaurant of Belarusian cuisine. The cuisine is top notch, as are the excellent staff. Marina is a very attentive, polite and caring waitress. She showed us attention, recommendations on the menu. I paid attention not only to adults, but also to the baby. I took care of it , brought toys and a blanket so that the child could crawl.Amazing waitress! The atmosphere in the restaurant is at its height, plunged into the 80s and 90s. The design is real tabletops.... Incredibly delicious cuisine, pancakes, dumplings, salad and delicious desserts. I will say for sure, one of the best restaurants in Brest. I don't know, maybe, of course, I have some kind of biased and subjective attitude towards everything Belarusian... although where would it come from, if not from the impressions experienced on our trip to the Republic. I'm sorely short of stars to rate all the places we've visited. The same was the "Tavern by the Lake" in Brest. It was like being in a 40s movie... not to shoot, but straight into the movie, trying on the different roles he could think of. remembering everything I've seen from and about that era. It's incredibly stylish, cozy and delicious here. I don't even have the energy or the sense to describe anything. Just go there and try it... dessert with gold leaf at the price of a regular Moscow panakota.

We were in a Tavern 12 years ago, when we accidentally came to Brest, when there were not so many tourists in Brest, it was sooo delicious, beautiful, chef, in a good sense of the word "created in the kitchen." 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, everything is super tasty and served quickly, and their hall with an open fireplace in the center of the hall, which is lit in winter, is generally top. For the second summer in a row, we come to Brest and visit this restaurant. Great attention to detail - clean, snow-white tablecloths and good table linen. Last time we visited, a fork fell on the floor, two seconds passed and the hostel replaced the fork for us. The dishes are delicious. Duck meat is the most tender. Elbow tinctures were worth a try. The atmosphere and interior were very pleasing. You need to book a few days in advance to get to this wonderful place.

The only minor flaw was that the waitress tried to quickly finish answering the questions on the menu (everything is relevant, but very brief). A good restaurant with responsive staff and delicious dishes of national Belarusian cuisine, located in the Park of Culture and Recreation of Brest, within walking distance from the main attractions. We have been coming to Brest every year on June 20-22 since 2014, and lunch at the Tavern on June 21 on the way back from the Fortress is already a good tradition.
