You won't regret booking! The hotel has 2 Russian-speaking guides. They meet, check in, escort, order taxis, book restaurants if necessary. We took breakfast. Magnificent. We took dinners through our guides when we were too lazy to go anywhere, a buffet dinner, wine and beer from alcohol. Our room was huge, everything worked, the service was excellent, daily cleaning. The beach is clean, there are enough sun beds. The water is warm and clean. There is a wave, but it was not huge, it was good to swim, sometimes it was difficult to enter, but it was fun. There are restaurants and a market around the hotel and a little further. They ate everywhere, there was no poisoning (look with your eyes where it's more decent). Fruits for every taste, seafood too. We went to Dudonghai, it's fun there in the evening, there is a shopping center and a market. Next to the embankment there is a cool Peking duck restaurant "1918" - you won't regret if you eat. They even speak Russian, the rest have translators. Any yuan is accepted in cash, whether old or new. Take it from Russia right away. Expect to leave a deposit at the hotel (preferably in dollars, they give you your money in the same envelope, we put 200 dollars) The rest is 100 out of 100, next time we want to go to the same bay, it's great. The hotel can also be booked at the booking office, and you can pay in yuan upon check-in. In general, I recommend it.

A lovely hotel, renovated, modern and very comfortable. The territory is huge and very green, even the territory has its own fruit market. The hotel is so big that you can find everything you want without leaving the gate! Wonderful access to the sea with comfortable sun beds, a beautiful swimming pool, two themed restaurants of Chinese and Japanese cuisine, a spa salon! The Chinese are not very fond of speaking other languages, so a big plus is the Russian-speaking guide at the hotel from 9.00 to 18.00, to whom you can contact with any question and any request and he solves everything quickly!! Even at the hotel, you can immediately order not only breakfasts, but also dinners (buffet) with more familiar and very tasty food! The staff is caring and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable! And most importantly, there is no dampness, as people complained from other hotels! I recommend it to everyone both as a family hotel and for romantic trips!

We had our first vacation at a Chinese resort and chose the Marriott Yalong Bay. The hotel is located on the first line; its neighbors are also large chain hotels, also five-star. The rooms are excellent (at the first check-in, they put a picture on a towel very touchingly - see photo). Bottled water is provided every day, there is enough water. There are no complaints about cleaning; they clean quickly and efficiently. There is always a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner. You can eat European food, Chinese, and other South Asian cuisines. For dinner, for example, there is a separate stand with sushi and rolls - simple but delicious (yes, the fish is all good). The territory is large and green. There is an outdoor tennis court. It's not the cleanest, of course, but you can play. The court is paid, but towels and extra water are brought directly there. It's a small thing, but it's nice -) The restaurant staff speaks English fluently (I have not tried to speak Russian). At the reception, some people speak only Chinese, but all with a Google translator, they speak and show the translation. All the issues have always been solved. The sea is clean, the beach is also clean, it is cleaned regularly. The Chinese themselves swim little and prefer the pool. They dive and sit / stand in the water. The pool, by the way, is an interesting shape, very warm. It is not always possible to find a sunbed; more precisely, you will definitely find it in the sun without an umbrella, but with an umbrella there may be questions if you do not go out early. At lunchtime, you either left (Dadonghai, Yanoda), or ate in the neighborhood - as you leave the hotel, turn right and come to the shopping center in about five minutes. There is a large grocery store (to buy, for example, food as souvenirs or to buy chips / chocolate) and many cafes / restaurants. In the restaurants where we were, they don't speak Russian. The menu won't help much - it's translated in a peculiar way (which is worth, for example, "The aftertaste of chicken Wenchang" or "Lily steamed the phoenix's legs.".. but they're trying, well done). Therefore, it is better to look at the menu in Chinese (it is served on a tablet) and ask what it is. I think it would be useful to make a list of the main hieroglyphs - "meat", "fish", "vegetables", otherwise you can get on a boiled beef stomach, and this is, well, quite an amateur. So it's a great hotel, confident five stars, and a very pleasant experience with Hainan and Chinese beach tourism in general.

I really liked Marriott in Sanya! The territory is well maintained, beautiful, plus this awesome huge green lawn, which is nice to walk barefoot after the sea ... The sea and the beach here are excellent. Almost white sandy beach and turquoise water… The entrance to the sea is shallow, and those with children are just perfect. We arrived during the rainy season (as it turned out later). And still - there is enough sun and warmth. Yes, I must say right away, who does not tolerate a tropical climate - there is incredible heat and humidity here - think carefully. About the food. We had breakfast - I started with fruits (watermelons, melons, mini bananas, guava, pineapples, sometimes mangoes) and then, if desired, oatmeal porridge, omelets and scrambled eggs, there is always stew, sausages, bacon, potatoes, boiled corn, other vegetables and all that. Of course, you can also try Chinese cuisine. I noticed that our people complain about the tastelessness of some dishes. But there you can also use a variety of combinations of different seasonings and add such sauces to yourself! In general, there is definitely something to eat here. I read before leaving here about some kind of contagious mosquitoes. I don't see any insects here. I've seen common flies twice, but no one else. Everything is calm! Birds and cicadas are singing outside the window. The surf roars in the distance. In general, paradise on earth…

We stayed at this hotel in September. Everything is at a high level. Spacious room with sea view. Linen and bathrobes are changed daily, and cleaning is also provided. I was treated by them, I was very satisfied, I will definitely come for treatment again. I am very happy with my stay at this hotel! The service, the number of rooms, the hotel itself — 10/10! Well maintained and beautiful large territory! Beautiful beach with clear clear water and plenty of sun beds. During our entire vacation, the beach was not closed (even when there were small waves), we swam for our pleasure. The room is spacious, with large beds and a wonderful view of the sea. I couldn't get enough of the local beauties! We cleaned every day, it was really nice to be in the room! The breakfast is varied, there is a lot of everything 🍍 A cool Japanese restaurant with its own atmosphere 🥢 The street with food is 15 minutes from the hotel, we walked in the evening. Excellent hotel in terms of location and beach area. It is worth noting that the beach is public, does not belong to the hotel, nevertheless it is equipped with everything. I didn't like the fact that we were checked in 2 hours later than expected, as well as the room was not cleaned twice. A minus star is just that. It's still unpleasant. Please note that instead of regular maps, an electronic notification system is used to tell you what needs to be removed or not disturbed. We still haven't figured out how it works. The breakfasts were excellent (they were the only ones we took), and we mostly went out to the city for dinners. Shops and various restaurants are within walking distance. Magnificent multi-level swimming pool. Most of the guests are Chinese, and it is rare to meet Russians or Europeans, unlike in Dodonghai Bay. That was a plus for us. It is sparsely populated in all areas of the hotel without exception. There is a place for a wedding ;)

We had a rest in May. We settled in quickly, earlier than the stated check-in time. Pleased. The room is medium-sized, but everything you need is present. When booking, there was no room with one bed, we booked with two. I was sure that we would get a change when we checked in! But the reception said that there are no rooms with one bed! Amazing! We stayed in many hotels in Hainan and always listen to tourists. The territory is very clean and well maintained, there are many pools of different depths and shapes. There is a swimming pool closer to the sea (open until 22 hours) and higher to the building (open until 18 hours). There are many activities and animations for children. On the side of the building, which is opposite from the sea, there is also a sports pool and a children's water park with a club and a good playground. For adults there is billiards, table tennis-free of charge. I've read reviews about food, and I disagree with those who say that breakfasts and dinners are bad. We really liked the food. There was meat, fish, chicken and seafood at the dinners. We haven't seen any dishes cooked on the barbecue, but the rest is plenty and delicious! Very tasty cakes and pastries, 4 types of ice cream, fruits (mangoes, melons, watermelons, etc.)Drinks:red and white wine, beer, various juices, cola fanta, tea and coffee ARE INCLUDED. A very good sauna is located near the gym in the women's and, accordingly, in the men's locker room. It is always turned on after 17 o'clock, if you need it earlier, then you need to go ask and it will be turned on. We liked the beach area in this hotel the most. Very wide and long distances between the sun beds! There were always places, there was never such a thing that we came and there were no free deck chairs. The sea, like everywhere else, has a designated area, but it is quite large. Swimming in the sea until 19 o'clock, after which everyone is asked to leave the sea.

And what's more, we got caught in a typhoon. All the services were being prepared, but the dinner was held by candlelight. The morning revealed quite severe consequences: fallen trees, roof tiles on the paths, pools full of garbage. But the staff bravely overcame it. They take a $200 deposit and refund it after eviction. The whole procedure takes 30 minutes if there is no queue. It should be taken into account when evicting. There is a small gym, everything you need is there. A tennis court is available, but leaves much to be desired.

We were with children aged 11 and 14 in July 2025 (off-season formally). The temperature is 27-31, the sea is always 26+. The food is excellent (there are porridges, pasta, seafood, and a lot of chicken and vegetables). There are English and Russian speakers at the reception. The hotel is right on the shore. Technically, the beach is not a hotel, but there are only people from the hotel on it. The beach is clean, the entrance is smooth, the depth depends on the ebb/tide. You can walk to the buoys at low tide, and at high tide you can swim and swim. There were no jellyfish or anything else. The beach line is long, there is a food street nearby and a mini market with shops, a supermarket and souvenirs. There are also mini shops in the hotel itself, and a pharmacy is also nearby.

Lots of entertainment for children and nice children's rooms with toys, swings and a slide. High-quality cosmetics, room cleaning every day. But the service does not correspond to 5* at all. Very lazy, unfriendly, and unresponsive employees. We had a buffet dinner in one of the hotel's restaurants, the opening hours of which are stated on the website - until 22:30, on the door of the restaurant - until 23:30. Already at 21:00, the staff began to clear away dishes, rattle plates and drop appliances, dimmed the lights in the hall, and by 21:40 the food and drinks were already completely cleaned, although there were still customers in the hall. My parents wanted to drink tea and we spent 10 minutes trying to persuade an employee to bring it to us! Dinner per person cost us more than 200 yuan! If you're going here, don't count on Marriott's service. By the way, the declared fitness center is not functioning here.

I ordered through Booking. Stay time is 2 weeks. I asked for a transfer and the highest floor (8), they didn't give me a transfer, floor 5 (not bad). Arrival at 5 a.m. (paid per day). Breakfast is free until 8, after that there are no seats and the food is eaten. There are no juice standards. Beach by the sea: there are rocks and broken shells (carefully). The merchants are bothering me . The sun beds on the beach and pool are occupied after 8. People on the sand. Why such humiliation at 5*???. Towels are sometimes thrown off, as a result of scandals. In the rooms: slippers, all necessary cosmetics, water. Lunch: 2 cafes. Guided tours (there is a Russian-speaking Persian). I didn't like the medical center (they do massage in the presence of other people and at the same time they shout loudly among themselves). There are many good activities for children. In the evening, a restaurant with a 338u buffet. (steaks, fish, salted trout......) there is little food after 19. The wine is unlimited, the juices are bad. There are 2 more restaurants and 2 cafes where they sometimes sing. A 20-minute walk to the street with cafes or a taxi. There is a good shop on the square with excellent prices for alcohol (they don't miss the zebra crossing). Pharmacies: they speak with an interpreter, there is something to choose. The hotel has a full capacity of 452 rooms. There is A Spa. Make a receipt in advance, they may make mistakes in calculations. There are long queues at the reception.

We were in different cities in Sanya and there is something to compare it with. The room is nice and clean, but the pillows are like two pancakes and there are no different sizes of slippers for women and men. There is no complimentary tea or coffee. The breakfast is modest by the standards of other hotels (three types of fruits, lots of deep-fried, several types of rolls, just one guy frying fried eggs, a station with konji and noodles, yoghurts). Some of the dishes are plastic. At 9 a.m., there is a queue of 20 people at the entrance to the restaurant. The entrance to the sea is at low tide with boulders and after half a meter the depth is immediately. There are broken sun beds and sagging mattresses on the beach. There are literally 30 sun beds by the pool, and everyone is always busy, and people lie down on the lawn under the palm trees. The territory is beautiful, there is a place to ride a stroller with a sleeping child. It's not worth your money at all, it's not 5*.

The hotel is definitely not worth the money! This is not a 5 star and definitely not a marriott. The rooms are pleasant, after renovation, the advantages end there. The breakfasts were monotonous , eggs and pastries helped out, of course you can find something to eat , but not for pleasure , sausages and sliced paper, there is cheese, there are not enough mackerel, vegetables and fruits, there is a queue for omelets, the rest of the hot dishes are all Chinese. It 's not worth overpaying for a grand at all . I liked the Deluxe even better. We lived on the 7th and 8th floors. Pools are cold, if there is no sun, you don't go swimming. There are no toilet brushes, it's terrible. Water was leaking out of the shower . In the evening, the singer sings in the lobby, restaurants are 4 times more expensive than on the food street (3 minutes from the hotel by taxi for 10 yuan one way), all cafes in two bays are the same, plus or minus, no matter what anyone says, the assortment and taste are all the same. Very tasty passion fruit (yellow is always sweet, dark is necessary to look for and ask), there is not much to buy in the shopping center. The entrance to the sea is now in rocks, take your slippers, there is a problem with sun beds, but we like to lie by the pool and go to the sea. We took mugs, we were afraid of waves, but on the 8th day they stopped us and said we couldn't, it wasn't pleasant, there were a lot of them lying around, and tourists probably left them, no one swims on them, parents are 70 years old, they felt sorry for the mugs. The photo is 30 yuan, take whatever you want, there is a booth in front of the exit to the beach. There was always a place outside for breakfast. We were treated at Ginseng (5 min walk from the hotel), we will evaluate the result later. The deposit is 200 dollars, the guides help to translate, but they impose their own medical centers. The Internet is barely working, it is not possible to send a video. Downloading dee dee without it is very inconvenient. Alipay was not used, there is a percentage of the payment, they take a card everywhere (we have an imported card). Alcohol is sold everywhere.

We stayed at this hotel in late February/early March 2025. Overall, it's a pretty good hotel. The area is large and green, and the rooms seem to have been renovated not so long ago. We took a package for breakfast and did not regret it, as the variety of restaurants / cafes both in the immediate vicinity and 15-20 minutes by taxi allows you to have lunch / dinner in different places. We took a room with an ocean view - I recommend it to everyone. The hotel has floors for smokers, and the smell entered the elevator a couple of times, but no further. The breakfasts are delicious, but they get boring quickly. On the plus side, there is a small market right behind the hotel with a cafe, supermarket and a couple of restaurants. The beach is relatively clean, but at this time, the sea is still cool and not very calm. The pool was only seen, but it has a good temperature and is large in size. We ate at the Man Ho restaurant a couple of times (Chinese/local cuisine) - not bad, atmospheric, but no more than twice.

Some vacationers complained that there were not enough sun beds, but we arrived at 8 a.m., there were a lot of free ones. As for the hotel...there are pros and cons. What I didn't like was that there were no cupboards or shelves at all, and there was an open crossbar with hangers. Can you imagine how much dust settles on clothes when they make up the bed?..The bedside table is just some kind of parody, the depth of the closed cabinets is 5 cm...What can I put in it??? Not even the laundry was included...Another shelf for suitcases. And that's it! Some of the clothes were kept in suitcases. Another significant disadvantage, which, unfortunately, is unlikely to be fixed...The toilet is located on the right, and the shower and sink are on the left, i.e. you have to go out with unwashed hands, turn off the light, turn on the shower, open the door, etc. I really didn't like it, it would have been better if they had made a hygienic watering can in the toilet... Otherwise, everything corresponded, the bed and mattress are very good, they changed every other day The bed. Ironing board, safe, everything that should be in a 5-star hotel. The breakfasts were good, everything was fine with us, the coffee was delicious, one caveat, there were no small spoons or even single sticks, they were stirred with a fork or a knife.. This is not the first hotel in this bay where we have rested, after all, the Hilton is slightly superior to the Marriott. It has wonderful dinners on the sand... Another positive point is that guides who speak Russian well came up to us on the beach, Vanya was like that, he helped with a massage, and he was not intrusive, unlike the vendors of beads and fruits. In general, we rested, tanned, maybe we'll come again ... but in another season, when the sea will be warm!!!
