Very convenient location: close to cafes, shops and all the sights in 5-30 minutes walking distance: Egyptian Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Church of One Day, Blue Mosque, etc. There is a bus depot nearby (10 minutes). I wasn't looking for a subway. I can't tell you.
Nuance: taxis do not reach the hotel itself. They are dropped off on the next street. A feature of the road traffic.
The hotel itself is very beautiful inside, from the outside if you don't know what it is, you will pass by😅
It is convenient to pay, including on the spot in cash. We booked at the airport upon arrival in Istanbul. There is an exchange office nearby (although with a large commission). It will be more profitable to change in any bank, there are also a lot of them here. Just walk a little bit.
The staff is very friendly. The button on the elevator is pressed. We made an agreement with the cleaner . One day they asked not to clean up, but they changed the towels and water. They generally understand Russian. English is excellent.
The rooms are not tired. It is clear that repairs were made not yesterday, but not a hundred years ago either. Towels are normal. The water goes well. They offer a "bath set". Cleaning every day. Additionally, if they are still in the room at lunch, they will knock with a proposal to update tea, coffee and sugar. In principle, the rooms and the hotel correspond to the photos on the booking and the website.
There is a restaurant on the 7th floor. With a high rating. And really a very good restaurant with a view and delicious cuisine. The hall is full even in February. The price tag is above the average in Istanbul.
Buffet breakfasts are also served here. Delicious. A good enough choice. Practically unchanged from day to day. There were few fruits. I was surprised, because the shops are full of them.
Seagulls are flying outside the window. You can safely open the window or ask the staff to feed them. Or just watch it.
Nuance: 30 minutes before the end of breakfast time, they are not kicked out, but they begin to clean up the hall. Since it opens as a restaurant at one o'clock in the afternoon.
It's not very pleasant. It's comfortable to go to breakfast at 9:30 a.m. - it's not early and you can sit quietly.
I recommend. Especially if you haven't been to Istanbul or the Fatih area.

Good afternoon. For the first time in 20 years of traveling, I write a negative review about the hotel. I hoped for positive reviews of the Sirkeci Istambul Best Hotel from Seher on the website Booking.com . I booked the hotel through Booking for 4 nights from March 8 to March 12, 2021. The hotel has withdrawn a deposit of 43 euros per day. We arrived at the hotel and really liked the place as it is located within walking distance from the main attractions of Istanbul and a 5-minute walk to the Bosphorus. We were greeted at the reception by the seemingly friendly staff. I made two big mistakes, the first one I paid for 4 nights at once and the second one I didn't go and check the hotel room right away. I usually do this in all countries. In Turkey, 3* is much lower in level than in Europe, so you need to choose this type of hotel very carefully. I recommend you to choose a 4* star hotel in Turkey and still check the rooms upon arrival. When I went up to the room, I saw that it did not match the size of the declared parameters indicated on Booking. Further, the room lacked the necessary bed linen for 3 people. There was no chair in the room, there was no mirror in the bathroom, the hair dryer did not work and the shower head holder was broken. But it was possible to survive. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, I found that the hotel simply ignored my requests to bring a pillow and a chair. The most "fun" was waiting for us ahead. As soon as we threw back the blanket before going to bed, we found that the whole bed was teeming with ants. I brought the information to the hotel manager on the prescription, he pretended that this was news to him. I barely managed to arrange a room change, but he was also with insects. The most amazing thing is that we were given a replacement room on the Covidnom floor. We had no choice but to spend the night in this room. I brought the information to the reception staff that we would leave the hotel tomorrow and requested a refund for 3 nights, to which I was confirmed everything would be fine. In the morning, when I asked for a refund for 3 nights, the hotel refused me at the beginning they said that it should have been done yesterday, then that the money did not come to the bank and that the money would be returned to me in a week. I realized that it was useless to swear and I didn't want to lose money either, so I agreed to change the number. We were given a slightly larger room than before. But the main problem remained in the bathroom there was no mirror, the hair dryer and the shower holder did not work. For our family, staying at the Sirkeci Istambul Best Hotel for 4 nights was like in a horror movie. I can say that we are not picky people, but when, in addition to cheating on the characteristics of the room and non-working devices, the presence of insects in the room, I think it's too much. It came as a surprise to me that Booking did not respond to my requests for help in any way. I will still deal with the site. Therefore, I do not recommend a trip to the Sirkeci Istambul hotel
Best Hotel if you don't want to spoil your vacation!!!

The location is just great! There are no descents and ascents for you, everything is smooth. Tram, ferries, metro nearby. Topkapi Palace and everything adjacent to it is 100 meters away. I took off the star for the ants in the room right in bed. The number was immediately changed to us, and by a class higher. There was a view of the Bosphorus and ants only in the bathroom. Cleaning is unobtrusive, but what to take from 3 stars, so it's fine. You can eat at breakfast, but without gastronomic ecstasy - Lebanese restaurants, Turkish ones also sometimes serve such breakfasts. That's where we went. Very friendly receptionists. In general, we needed a place just to sleep on clean linen for cheap - the place is perfect! In the photo, the view from the window.

Nice hotel, cleaned every day, everything is clean. We settled into a room with a stunning view of the Bosphorus, I wasn't going to pay anything extra. Usually guests are not so lucky in this hotel, there are 7 floors, 6 of them on the wall of a neighboring hotel. Breakfast, you can eat the usual, you won't stay hungry, the coffee is very tasty.

"Seher Kebab Meat House" is our first restaurant in Istanbul, and we compare all subsequent ones with it. Fortunately, they did not make a mistake in their choice.
It is located in the old town, between the Marmaray railway station and Sultanahmet Square, near Gulhane Park. By the way, there are a lot of restaurants in this area, and I didn't want to make a mistake.
Still on the way, you will most likely be greeted by the friendly owner of the establishment, and will unobtrusively invite you to visit. You will definitely be taken aback by such courtesy, because it goes against the general behavior of the touts.
The restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel of the same name, but there is no sense of a cramped room, you are sitting in a cozy restaurant with a colorful design.
The service and menu are in English and Turkish.
The assortment, as in all cafes in Istanbul, includes Turkish and European dishes. We opted for chicken kebab, eggplant kebab, tuna salad and, of course, Efes beer. While waiting for the main dishes, they brought us an aperitif: a vegetable snack with pita bread.
Kebabs and kebabs are served with potatoes, rice and vegetables. The portions are large, the dishes look aesthetically pleasing. And most importantly, it is very tasty!
As soon as your plates are removed, you will immediately receive a compliment from the restaurant: apple tea and baklava.
In general, in Istanbul, in self-respecting restaurants, and appreciating customers, a compliment is taken for granted, it is a kind of norm.
And another important detail: after a couple of days, meeting you in a crowd, the host will behave like a good friend to you, which confirms the sincerity and cordiality of his hospitality.
In general, if you want a break between excursions in a quiet, pleasant place with delicious food at reasonable prices, you are here!

It's a great hotel, it pulls its own strings. The staff is excellent. The restaurant is also good. They will tell you everything, explain everything. The main thing is that it is located in the historical part. Everything is within walking distance

Most of the rooms overlook the well, which is hung with external air conditioning units. The furniture in the room leaves much to be desired. We rested as a group. Almost no one was lucky with the number. Those who had windows facing the street had joy in the form of an air conditioner leak. The bathroom was pulled up with sewage. The halls and lobbies are tidy enough, the staff is polite. A separate word about breakfast. Turkey seems to be a country with an ancient culture of coffee consumption, but for breakfast there was only instant coffee from a pseudo-car. Protein foods include two types of sausage-ham and sliced boiled eggs. Although I'm not an amateur, I noticed that there were no traditional sausages in any country in the world either. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant - the prices are affordable, the food is delicious.
