The first hotel in Vietnam that left very negative memories! The hotel is mainly aimed at Asians, 90% spicy food and if you are not Vietnamese or Chinese, then you are out of luck, of course, if you like spicy food! It is very difficult for children to find food that is not spicy, there is practically no food there, and the choice is not great compared to other hotels where we have been! On weekends, very noisy local Vietnamese and Chinese come by who don't understand what a late hour is and they don't give a damn about two or three in the morning, they are very ill-mannered, they behave the same way in the restaurant when they come to dinner, move tables and start drinking!All cafes and restaurants close at 20:30 and if you happen to be hungry, then the city is 35 km away! In general, we are enchanted by the hotel, it was advertised to us as very good, and besides the water park, which we visited a couple of times, there is nothing to do there!

We stayed at this hotel for a week and a half in the second half of August 24.. Everything is great!!! I really liked it!!! The hotel is beyond praise..it is surrounded by greenery, everything is clean, a beautiful large sandy beach, the sea is just a fairy tale, the food and drinks are also excellent!!! In general, everything was great!!! Definitely, I recommend it and definitely would come back here more than once!!!

Overall, we liked the Selectum: the beach and food are top, the animation is weak, but it suited us... The locals seemed harmless enough on the first weekend.. But everything changed on the second weekend, when they ruined the last 3 days of rest.. Selectum does not just accept locals, but holds huge team building events for large companies, field trips for children's schools/sections... This, OF COURSE, greatly hinders.. They held an event for 500 (according to rumors, it is unrealistic to count) people for 3 days.. I really had to squeeze through the restaurant, the arena for evening performances was occupied and ordinary people were simply not allowed in there.. Even in the green street area, there was really nowhere to fall... They're just everywhere, noise, hubbub... in general, the Selectum needs to determine its concept, while both yours and ours are trying.. At least there was no desire to return there in the end.

If this is your first time, then you will like it for sure, but I have something to compare it with, alas, this hotel loses. But overall, it's good. For those who are interested in various little things and details; the hotel positions itself as a family hotel. 1. If you are without children, then most likely you will be given a room with a view of the construction site, the construction site is abandoned, so in the coming years this terrible view will remain for a long time and a very small corner of the sea in the distance. And even if you think that Alyonka's chocolate bar will help you make up, NO, the chocolate bar doesn't work. On the balcony, your clothes will dry for a very long time overnight at the earliest. 2. If you think that you have everything turned on, they will hang up bracelets for you now and you will run to a cafe to eat – NO. The bracelet will be put on you at exactly 14:00 not a minute earlier. This means that lunch is over and the canteens are closed. Accordingly, when you leave, your bracelet will be removed at 12:00 and you will not be able to enter the dining room again. If you think that at any minute you can go to some cafe and have something to eat, NO. There are only 2 canteens open and they work by the hour. You need to memorize a schedule or carry a piece of paper with you, and there's a lot of territory there, you can't go back there. 3. A very long hallway similar to a dorm, in which there is a distinct echo and every 5 minutes there are screaming children and all the steps, the rolling of suitcases and maid carts are very clearly audible 4. You will not enter the elevator without a room card. You should always carry this card with you, it is extremely inconvenient. You'll be lucky if your room is somehow close to the elevator, otherwise you'll be stomping down an endless corridor every single day and God forbid you forget something in the room. There is also an elevator in the middle of the corridor, but if you go down it, you will find yourself exactly in the middle of the pool and you will still have to walk around it. 5. The pool is near the main building, it is long and there is no bridge or passage over it, in order for you to get to the bar or to the lobby to take the shuttle you will have to stomp and stomp. You will find free sun beds and you will be happy, but these will be the sun beds at the end of the pool and there will be two children's beds in front of you, and to get into the large pool you need to stomp to the beginning. The same thing, there are no crossings / paths through lawns, you will wind up a lot of kilometers in vain, absolutely stupid organization of the territory. 6. The sea is beautiful and blue, but shallow, empty sun beds are hard to find, as usual, just towels are lying. But at 12 o'clock a boy comes and collects all the unattended towels, the sun beds are vacated. 7. Pool bar and beach bar shed. It's not like there are nuts for beer, there's not even a lime. For example, if you decide to drink pure rum, there is absolutely nothing to eat, you need to take care and put a couple of bananas in your pocket at lunch. There are long queues at a bar like by the sea, one bartender is working, and the rest of the freeloading employees are just jostling around there and distracting him. 8. Animation is there. Games on the beach on the lawn, according to the schedule, but animation was also announced on the main pool – NO. On the day of departure, on Tuesday, at 16:00, the foam party began. 9. The pool by the sea (panoramic), which is also the pool next to the dining room. There are no sun beds, tables and chairs. Accordingly, while you are swimming in front of your face, people are eating, a bird is grabbing bread, do not be surprised if bread is floating in the pool. 10. There are only two restaurants, be prepared for the fact that the food in them is different, dinner is only 2 hours, the distance from one to the other is decent. There were no gastronomic/ themed evenings with music or cuisines of the peoples of the world- NO, the seafood that is served is absolutely uncleaned, for example; mussels with sand, squid, not only the skin is not peeled, but also the insides, which makes it bitter 11. The food is generally varied, but during the 4 days of stay, the shrimps were served once in a restaurant by the sea and exactly 40 minutes later they ran out and sausages were put in their place. 12. There is a separate lobby for Russian tourists. Upon check-in, cookies, tea, coffee, and a whole table are waiting for you there, but upon check-out, this table is empty and there is not even water. This is completely bullying. 13. At 18:00, complete darkness sets in, as there are no lights / lighting, the pools are closed. And also by 18 o'clock, the Wi-Fi somehow starts working. 14. The water park, there was an injury. There is a slide on the fifth floor that you need to climb without a bagel. I did everything under the supervision of the boy, water poured from above in the middle of the pipe, so I had to close my eyes and lost my orientation. When I flew out of the pipe, my left side slid along the side, the flow of water was so strong that my bra ended up on my forehead. As a result, my leg, hip, and arm are bruised. And the bagels are so heavy that I turned around and walked further away from there. Earlier, I watched a blogger's video, he said that all the slides were working from 4 – NO, it was Saturday, out of 6, only 3 slides were working. 15. After dinner, a children's event begins, an adult without children can just hang around and wait for the disco. That's it at 23:00. The concert is over. Both guys are thrilled! They are asking for more, so we will repeat))) Check-in is quick at a separate reception, there are two Russian-speaking staff. There is no need to be afraid of the language barrier, all employees have phones and will solve any of your problems through a translator. The nomen was on the 7th floor, with a large bed and an extra bed. The bed. There are welcome cookies and drinks everywhere. There are no problems with water, as in the Radisson and Movenpik (drinking) , both the bar and bottled water were constantly replenished in the room. And you could get it in any bar. There is a bathrobe, slippers, shampoo and brushes in the room. Safe deposit. There's Pepsi and beer in the fridge, three bottles a day. Tea, coffee. Teapot. Cookies. Cleaning is usual. Diapers, napkins, pharmacy, clothes, suitcases, food. We ordered fruits home on the day of departure, the owner brought them from the city) My favorite avocado))) Water park. A good one! There are for kids and for teenagers! I'm still a coward, I took a ride once, then I cried. So many emotions. Local people. Guys, this is awesome! They are not there during the day, they are afraid of the sun. They go to bed at 21.00. No one listens to Leps and all that, no one looks at you like a scanner. They only eat in their own restaurant in the main building. If it bothers you, you can go to the other two. Well, they're loud, like that))) By the way, don't forget, we go to Phu Quoc and Mui Ne in winter, and Cam Ranh in summer from March to October. Then the sea will please you . We got to this hotel by accident because the azur air flight was delayed for 7 hours and we were picked up from the winter resort in advance and moved to this hotel before waiting for departure (because it is the closest to the airport). The impression of this hotel was very strange. A very atypical concept for Southeast Asia. It feels like you are in Turkey, and even with a dubious contingent of vacationers. Then, as it turned out, tours to this hotel were sold at a price almost two times lower than to the Winperl resort hotel. Accordingly, it was possible to meet the "alco elite" of all regions of the country. Now to the specifics: 1. Dubious views around the hotel and the presence of construction debris (construction of a neighboring hotel is actively underway nearby) 2. The sea, in which you can not swim because of the large waves (almost always a red flag) and from which garbage comes ashore. 3. The concept of food like Turkey, the drinks are just disgusting, the juices are powdered, the cocktails are not even close to real (they are made with cheap alcohol + the same powders). Yes, there is a lot of food, but it is of rather dubious quality, the dishes duplicate each other. The restaurant on the 2nd floor of the main building looks like a dining room with a high noise level and seating density. It may be a coincidence, but after dinner there was poisoning in this hotel, although we lived in another hotel for a week before that and everything was OK. 4. The hotel provides a lot for families with children (Playgrounds, a decent kids club, a good water park). This is the only worthwhile plus. 5. The previous plus is overlaid with a bold minus. I don't know who came up with the concept and designed the hotel territory, but there is a clear failure. Why would you do a scene with animation and loud music until midnight next to the hotel building? The Russian disco does not allow you to sleep even with a fully enclosed balcony. It was necessary then to provide sound insulation of the rooms! So it turns out that families with young children who need to go to bed are going, but at the same time, no one will let them sleep. No one allowed us to get enough sleep before a long flight, respectively. 6. The standard room has a very strange shower drain system. For some reason, the drain is closed and you need to open it yourself. 7. It is uncomfortable to be on the floors of the hotel visually, it looks more like a hostel. In total, this 5 * hotel does not pull at all. It remains questionable why Turkey was made in Vietnam, if they are flying here for something completely different. Now this hotel is a solid 4 with a big minus.Or 3+
