It's a cool place. It's very atmospheric. Friendly people working, delicious food. I came across this place at a very stressful moment in my life, and it really helped me switch places. I'm willing to give five stars even for that. In general, I went specifically for onions in chickpea flour for the first time, I liked it in other cities. They cook a different recipe here, but they said they were ready to meet halfway and even change something. I tried a couple more dishes on other occasions. I tried masala tea. Excellent establishment, reasonable prices. Friendly, courteous staff. Perhaps one of the few places where you can try really spicy food (just ask the waiter to make it sharper). It's a great opportunity to try Indian and Thai cuisine the way it should be, because the owner of the restaurant and the staff are mostly Hindus. 10/10

We do not come here to eat, because the cuisine is specific and unusual for us, there are a number of dishes that we really like, there are very unusual ones, we come to experience a completely different atmosphere and tastes in the center of Vitebsk. We had a conversation with the owner of the cafe once. It was very interesting! He told me about himself, about India, made a route map, where to go, when and for what purpose to which city) dressed up specifically for the photo, told me about hang and how to handle it! In general, we spent a lot of time and were completely delighted! Do not hesitate, be sure to look into the second hall! We recommend it for new experiences and sensations!

We had a delicious meal with the family in Saffron. We ordered a lot of Indian dishes: paneer, chicken curry, a complex dish with chickpeas, rice, chicken, vegetables, dessert and flatbread, separate flatbreads with spices and butter, mango lassi, tomato soup and tom yam. I enjoyed everything incredibly. The food is prepared with love. There was a feeling of fullness in my stomach for a long time. Due to the large amount of spices, there was no feeling of heaviness. On the contrary, it is satisfying, tasty, healthy and affordable. The child really liked the paneer, tortillas and musical instruments in the second hall. The staff are polite and pleasant to talk to. Thanks to all the staff of this establishment for a wonderful dinner.

I must say right away that if you want a lot of Instagram photos, then you are not here. You won't find cool fancy interiors and all that. It's just a soulful place with very tasty food. I love going there. The host is very hospitable, and will talk, and will advise the dish. Cozy, without pathos, in the Indian style. There aren't many tables, but that's a plus for me. The walls are hand-painted, it is interesting to consider. There are musical instruments, books. You can ask for paper and markers. My daughter likes that you can play musical instruments, no one forbids anything and does not look askance. In general, for me it is a place where I can relax and eat delicious food. And the prices, by the way, are very affordable)

The cuisine is great: Indian pilaf, flatbread (with cheese; potatoes), butter chicken, Masala tea, dessert- carrot halva! Everything turned out to be very tasty, the Indian atmosphere and light music added flavor! Whenever possible, we will visit this place again! I highly recommend this place to everyone! Here you can not only taste real colorful Indian cuisine, but also have an interesting time and learn a lot of new things. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff of the restaurant and its owner Sandip for their hospitality, high culinary skills and pleasant company. We spent our weekends in Vitebsk, and went to Saffron for dinner. And this, in my opinion, was the best solution! After dinner, a heavy downpour began, there were about 10 minutes left before the restaurant closed, and we didn't even have umbrellas with us. Sandeep did not ask us to leave the establishment due to the end of the working day, but offered to stay longer, told us his story and invited us to the second hall. In the 2nd hall there were musical percussion instruments, Indian literature, comfortable sofas and much more. Sandeep gave me a master class on the percussion instrument glucophone, told me about the principles of sound production, and also talked to me about Indian music. The next time we gather in Vitebsk, we will definitely visit Saffron again, because it is more than just a cafe!

In June 2024, you had a company of musicians, whom you welcomed in the best traditions! We held an excellent master class on playing the glucophone, sheltered during the pouring rain! They told us in detail about the menu, gave recommendations and offered delicious pita bread to our dishes. It turned out to be really tastier with him.
