It's a good museum! Get a lot of impressions! Your passports are required to visit children incl. ! Payment is only in lira!! Huge territory, huge spacious high halls!!! Mysterious light! There are not a lot of exhibits, but they are all worthy! There are sculptures, boats, animal mummies, human mummies... fragments of the history of modern Egypt are presented in a separate room. If possible, take a guided tour, he will tell you a lot of interesting things, because the inscriptions to the exhibits are only in English.

We were in the evening, there were practically no people. It's very quiet and beautiful, interesting to see. And the price is 200 for adults,100 for children. Then people came in, they said you could get an audio guide in Russian there... Cash payment in pounds

We were on our own, the entrance ticket was 200 Egyptian pounds, the service of a Russian-speaking guide was not enough, it would have been more interesting, but overall it was interesting and informative.

The museum is nice, brand new. We downloaded an offline translator in advance to translate the signs, we recommend that you do the same, the mobile Internet does not catch well there. There's a lot to see, especially when you really want to go out in the evening.

Definitely worth a visit- the mummies of crocodiles and Egyptian kings are incomparable. Payment for the museum ticket is only in Egyptian pounds or by card. I made an agreement with the guard- he bought me a ticket for pounds, I gave him dollars at the exchange rate. The guides speak Russian poorly, joke stupidly, in general, I would advise you to walk around the museum yourself, unaccompanied. The exhibits have a description in English. Be sure to check the museum's work schedule, for example, it was indicated incorrectly on Yandex maps.

For a city with a forty-year history, the opening of the museum is like a large pearl in a necklace. The museum is not large in terms of the number of exhibits, but it is a good idea to look at the history of Egypt without going to Cairo. We visited with an excursion where the ticket price for visiting the museum is included. For an individual visit, the price is like 15 Baku rubles per person. Have a good experience!

Friends, I recommend everyone to visit this museum! I want to tell you right away that no guide or travel agency will offer or tell you about this museum, they will sell you a trip to the Cairo Museum for a lot of money. By no means am I trying to dissuade you from the Cairo Museum, there is a golden mask of Tutankhamun and other exhibits that deserve attention. But if you are in Charm, be sure to come here, there are a lot of exhibits, there is something to see. I warn you right away, you can only buy a ticket by paying with a bank card. (Currently, Russian cards do not work abroad). But! You can ask one of the passers-by (locals) or visitors, and give them cash. The price for tickets is a penny, in 2023 I gave about 1600rubles for three, another moment, the museum, and in principle almost everything in the Charm starts working fully at 19:00 local time and until the morning). The three of us actually went around the museum, there was no one else. The Egyptians of that time probably had a joke to mummify everyone 😉 crocodiles, birds, monkeys… I recommend it, lots of impressions!!

A small but interesting museum with authentic exhibits. Available for evening visits. We lived nearby, so we walked to it. Payment is only in Egyptian pounds (200). Russian tourists can pay in cash upon presentation of a foreign passport. passports.

It's a good museum. A lot of money has been invested in it. You can feel it. There is a mosque nearby. It's better to go with a guide. We were alone, also OK. But it's obviously more interesting with a guide. We've been eavesdropping on other bands. There is a cafe, a toilet. There is a mosque nearby, you can walk to it. Payment at the entrance is by card only.

We are vacationing in Sharma in July 2024. We were looking for information on reviews about this museum, located near our hotel. As a result, at their own risk, they called a taxi and went at 8 p.m. (it says here that it works after 8 p.m.), took dollars, there is no card. As a result, we need passports (we have not seen this information anywhere), they were approached by photos of our passports. Payment by card or in pounds. As a result, we asked the taxi driver or the bus driver nearby to help, he paid, we gave him dollars with interest) The museum is gorgeous, it is a pity that it is not popular and is practically not used.

I liked the museum. there are probably not many exhibits (we have nothing to compare them with), but they are authentic and everything is done well both inside and out beautifully, clean and spacious. payment by card, but for Russians, a visit for cash is local pounds (200 for an adult, 100 for a child, i.e. a family of 2 people and 1 child can visit it for about 1000 rubles for all) and a passport or photo of it. neither dollars nor euros are accepted! change money in advance! as a last resort, ask taxi drivers to exchange bucks for pounds (it will not be very profitable). the museum seems to be open from 17.00, it is better to approach a little in advance, while it is light, take a picture and walk around the territory, and then go to the museum. there are a couple of souvenir shops inside (prices are not cheap). from the museum towards Naama Bay in 5-7 minutes walk you can go to Hollywood Park, there is also a beautiful illuminated place. inside it, to the right behind the stage in the back, there is a shop with cheap souvenirs)

There are a lot of expositions including real crocodile mummies and women. A relatively small museum. They give headphones to the whole group, everything is perfectly audible. Everyone has their own guide, the one who came with the group. All Egyptian guides have a good level of Russian) We liked it

On this visit to Sharm, I went to the new museum, since it was across the street from the hotel. The main thing is that the guides do not talk about it, I learned about its existence from bloggers. The building is wide, modern, with platforms and steps, quite stylish, both outside and inside. The designers played well with texture and light. Huge halls, a sense of space, excellent air conditioning. The visual range is divided into several periods: Pharaonic, Greco-Roman and Islamic. If you can roughly imagine the Pharaonic, the Greco-Roman back and forth, then you will definitely discover the Islamic one for yourself. He demonstrates the royal dynasty of Muhammad Ali. It was overthrown in the early 1950s. and there are plenty of beautiful objects left. For example, rare jewelry. Due to the fact that there is practically no advertising for the museum, I spent the entire visit listening to the sound of my footsteps and the slight coughing of security in the halls. A great opportunity to see unique exhibits without leaving the city and within walking distance from the hotel. This opportunity should not be missed. Yes, you need to take into account the working hours, there is a long break during the day.

A new modern museum. A great place to touch an ancient civilization. There are almost no people. The exhibits are just great. Mummies are annoying for both animals and people. The sensations are trembling ... I definitely advise you to visit if you are in Charm.

Russians should take their passport or a copy with them, since everyone else pays only with a card. Have a good experience, everyone

We were at the museum with an excursion, in the evening, there were practically no visitors except us. It felt like a museum was open only for our group. Many thanks to the guide, a professional in his field. The museum impressed with its spaciousness and exhibits. Such a concentration of mummies can only be found in Egypt)

A great museum, compact but very interesting. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the history of Egypt. This is the second time we've been here. You can only pay by card (Russian ones do not work), but for Russian citizens there is an option - payment in pounds upon presentation of a passport (or a copy of it, we were sold tickets according to the data indicated in travel vouchers). Opening hours must be viewed separately on their website, because the museum is closed during the day in summer and opens late at night.

Payment is ONLY in Egyptian pounds (adults 200, children 100, but our 5-year-olds were allowed in for free). The hotel told us that it was possible in dollars. But no. Only in pounds. I had to run around looking for a change. Beautiful modern museum and surrounding area. As an evening stroll, that's the thing.

A beautiful museum, a large pavilion, but there are not enough expositions. Although everything was done very coolly. The museum is a masterpiece: well-placed exposition, light, a lot of space, I really hope that the exhibits that are gathering dust in the archives of famous major museums in Egypt will be transported here. I visited the museum as part of a sightseeing tour of the Charm from the tour operator, I did not find any other ways) unfortunately, they did not offer a separate tour. I dream of returning to this museum again, but with a separate long tour and with a professional guide. The knowledge of tour operator guides is very limited and is not designed for an audience seriously interested in the history of Egypt

My feedback will be purely negative. First of all, this is not a museum, but a very mediocre installation of Egyptian-like exhibits painted with cheap paint. Secondly, there is a normal museum in Sharma, where there are real exhibits from the Cairo museum, but all taxi drivers take to the mall when you tell them about the museum. This is a hoax. The third is the price. In the normal Charm Museum, we gave 700 pounds for three adults and one child (half price), i.e. the entrance ticket costs 200 pounds ($4). In this charade, they charged 15 dollars per person (it will remain on the conscience of the reviewers and staff). And yes, the fourth, a personal Russian guide is a flash drive with a recording of the tour, which is plugged into a USB speaker, next to which a radio microphone is placed, and all this is broadcast to the speakers in the ceiling. The quality, well, it's clear that in Russian, the content is for those who are particularly hearing. If you don't mind the money, go ahead. The real museum with the real exhibits is located elsewhere. The only problem is, they don't accept cash, keep in mind! Have a nice rest

The museum is not bad, the building is new, there are not a lot of exhibits. It is better, of course, to explore with an audio guide or a tour guide. Self-examination will take an hour. Opening hours are 10-13, 17-23. You can get there by taxi, using the Indrive app. Important for payment! Cash is accepted only from Russians, as Russian cards do not work. Payment is in Egyptian pounds, adults - 200, students - 100. Take a copy of your passport with you. The only difference from the rest is card payment. They do not accept cash in pounds, euros, or dollars. Non-Russians do not need a copy of their passport.

An interesting museum, but it is still under development. A huge, but still undeveloped territory, but the exposition is worth getting acquainted with it. A small recommendation for visiting the museum: it is better to go by taxi on your own, and if with an excursion from a tour operator, then specify the number of people in advance! We chose an excursion from the tour operator Selfie Travel and regretted it. 1. There were a lot of people, it was unbearable to walk in a crowd near each exhibit. Add in more babies in strollers, which sometimes drowned out the guide's speech. 2. The guide was very wrong about historical facts (for example, the longest river in the world) and some facts from his speech did not match the signatures of the exhibits. 3. Our tour included a trip to the dancing fountains. Don't get fooled! There's an ordinary city fountain, just with lighting and music)) 4. The tour itself will take you all day, because it will take a lot of time to gather people from other hotels.
