We decided to relax in Baku, took the sheraton (Marriott), which was tested in other cities and countries, but we did not expect such a horror with rooms in any way!!!!
we had an Intourist room with a sea view from a balcony.
at first, they settled on the 2nd floor 240. the room is just a "dead" hygienic shower flowing, everything is dirty everywhere, old, the headboard is torn. It's not even 2 stars, it's a hangout!!!!We
had a fight.
the staff is, in principle, good and responsive. They gave me another room 2 floors above. The picture is a little better, but it's still very far from 5 stars!!! In general, apart from
the sea view and the staff, there is nothing like that. Either the manager is not working well, or the employees are not listening to him.
by the way, the breakfasts are also so-so. cheese and meat are smoked, juices from bags (there are no freshly squeezed ones)
24.10.24 I changed from 2 stars to 4, purely because of the guys at the reception, they are great. Finally, on the 4th day, they guessed to bring wine and fruit
And the cleaning has remained poor...

The hotel is super. Everything is excellent - service, rooms, location, restaurant, guests. Perfect snow-white linen and towels, cleanliness. We didn't find any disadvantages. We will stay here again

When checking in in the evening - the room is not ready, the air conditioner is replaced after 2 days, the ironing board was not brought for an hour after 2 calls, even napkins are not put on the table in the restaurant (I ordered fish), another day in the evening they are escorted to the table and after 15 minutes they say that the kitchen is closed!!!! What kind of 5 - star Marriott service is this ???? The windows are dirty.

There are no "consumables" in the rooms. Often, after cleaning, they forgot to replenish water and tea / coffee. The staff is great.

The hotel was founded in 1934, very convenient location, near the embankment, the carpet museum, the alley of the Shahids, easy access to the center. There is a restaurant, a veranda, delicious European breakfasts, a buffet. The staff speaks Russian, the reception is open around the clock. The rooms are clean, there is a coffee machine in the room, very soft beds, beautiful room design, bathroom. 👌👌😎one minus there is no view, almost no windows. But maybe we had such a number.

Lovely hotel.
Not all of its 4 stars.
Neat, cleaned well, a variety of breakfasts.
In the evening, dinner is also a very pleasant choice.
There is a gym, small, but everything you need is available.
