The building at Lenin Square, 12, in Mozyr was built in 1951 and was originally intended to house the Mozyr district committee of the KP(b)B (of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus). This significant administrative building of that time reflected post-war architecture and urban planning. Since 1956, the children's music school No. 1 has been located in this building. Since then, it has become an important cultural center of the city, where children are taught to play musical instruments, vocals and other musical disciplines.
