The zoo has a very large territory. There are many types of animals. There is an "Africa" zone, a "Night World" pavilion. Aviaries for peacocks, birds of prey, bears, lions, cheetahs, wolves, foxes and more. A lake for waterfowl. But some buildings on the territory require repair. The view is a bit not well maintained. It will probably look better in the summer. The ticket price is quite reasonable. It's worth a visit, it will be especially interesting for children.

One of the most entertaining and interesting places that I have visited in Shymkent with my family. The scale of the park is quite decent. We walked around it in 3 hours. Tuf-tufs run through the park for an additional fee. The variety of animals is great. There is a separate area called Nightlife, where nocturnal mice, armadillos, etc. live. However, many people do not enter that part because it is located at the end and the entrance is not so clearly visible. On each turn, water and snacks are sold for a higher price than in the city, respectively. The entrance fee is cheap.

It is beautiful, the territory is well maintained. There are a lot of animals, there is something to see.
The only thing I don't like is visitors, and I want to plant them instead of animals, where it's been seen that a giraffe ate corn sticks, a lion ate cabbage, and more. . Cultures of behavior are not among people. And the zoo is very cool there, as soon as we get the opportunity, we go there with our family.

We like to walk with the kids.Look at the animals, feed them (we buy vegetables at the zoo).I would like it not to smell strongly near animal cells, this is one minus.And I would also like the guys who sell cotton candy and popcorn to be more clean, because the children ask, but you see that the guys touched their feet, scratched their heads and wrapped cotton wool with these hands, this is the second minus.It's terrible.And so, the kids are happy when we take them to the zoo.

We went in early July with our family . The zoo has definitely become better than it was before. Everything seems to be fine , But still there is a feeling that the animals are not being looked after . The bear's pool with a viewing glass is half full , the bear cannot enter the water in the heat . The other two bears have the same pattern. There is darkness in the aquarium in the truest sense of the word . Lighting gets into the room through a skylight, it's not okay to look at the fish, and all visitors try to use phone flashlights to see what lives in the aquarium. Maybe when it 's cloudy , then they turn on the lighting , or there were repairs , but in our case , as it was , I wrote it . For the general appearance 5, for the animals 3.

Lots of greenery. There are few toilets, they are all in poor condition. There are many animals, but some have a tired appearance, especially lions, tigers and bears. The giraffe is the main decoration of the zoo. Some animals can be fed, for example, ostriches are just waiting for this, they are not afraid of people at all and gladly accept food from visitors. The ticket can be said to be symbolic - 800 tenge for adults, 400 tenge for children from 6 to 17 years old, and free of charge for children under 6 years old.
One of the pleasant impressions is that in many places gander boats with water are installed, you can collect water, wash your hands and face. There are several small attractions, a trampoline, cars for rent.

The zoo is not bad, people visit actively, parking lots are busy on weekends, a ticket for adults is 800 tenge, from 6-17 years old 600 tenge, for students 600 tenge.Tigers, lions, lionesses are thin, very sluggish.Of all the wolves that were there, I saw only red, there were no ordinary gray ones. THE BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE OF THE ZOO IS THE BROKEN GLASS WHERE 3 LIONESSES ARE LOCATED, and this glass is simply covered with a banner and taped where 3 lionesses are sitting...I hope they will take measures to eliminate this huge problem, because children and adults come too close to the glass with animals in order to take a photo, no matter how one of these photos turns out to be deplorable!
They also put up children's attractions, of course it's good for children, but for animals?After all, this is primarily a ZOO!!!! And the most important thing there is the comfort of animals, you can ride on attractions elsewhere, and look at animals in the zoo. They also sell food for animals there - a bag of vegetables, cabbage, carrots, etc.
The ducks are probably lucky, because they have a large territory to swim and they don't eat as much as lions, bears, tigers...
When I arrived, it was about 12 o'clock, some cages were still closed and the meat was lying outside the closed door and the animal was hungry but could not get this meat, I would like them to be opened earlier.
But as a whole, thank you that the zoo is developing!

It's a great zoo. Big, beautiful. There are a lot of different animals and birds. There is an aquarium with fish and a terarium. There are benches, locations for a photo shoot. I really liked the Africa department. I recommend going in the morning when the animals are active, it's not too hot. We got to the morning feeding, it was very interesting to watch. We saw a mother bear with a bear, played, swam. There are also tigers, lions, wolves, hippopotamus, huge birds and many others. Both the children and I liked everything. The zoo is very large, we walked around in 2 hours, but the legs almost fell off

Five stars for the fact that the zoo is developing for the better, slowly but surely :)
I recommend it for a family visit. Tickets are inexpensive, children under 6 years old are free of charge. The territory is clean, cozy, beautiful, there is a place to eat, finally a normal toilet was built. But aviaries with bears along the central alley are still better to go with a gas mask)))

The only thing that upsets is some kind of dilapidation, old sidewalks, curbs, benches. The zoo is clearly in need of major repairs
