I was very impressed by the Old Town of Side. We had a great walk, touched the history. It was August 26, 2025, and it was very hot, but everything was very interesting, beautiful, and clean. Entrance to the ruins is paid, only cash and only lira are accepted.

This is a great place to visit! Preserved buildings, structures, fountains are simply being returned to those times where once people strolled leisurely in ball gowns ... A wonderful place!

It's a beautiful and mostly free place so far. The sea, a small port, various ruins, shops. The Temple of Apollo is really worth a look, as is the amphitheater, which is currently under renovation. They say the lighting is beautiful in the evening. Good transport accessibility.
