We rested as a couple at the Silan Mo Hotel for 10 days in November 2024. The location is good: the beach is across the street; there are many cafes and shops nearby. The breakfasts are monotonous, but you will not stay hungry: scrambled eggs / omelet with sausages, pancakes, fruits (mango, pineapple, watermelon, papaya, banana), freshly squeezed juice (papaya, watermelon), pies, dry breakfast, milk, coffee, butter, jam. The rooms are spacious, with ocean views; the shower and plumbing are in poor condition. The rooms are cleaned only if you leave the key at the reception, the cleaning itself also leaves much to be desired. There is hot water in the room if only there is sun, we haven't had it for a week. There is no safe in the room and there is no refrigerator - this is a big minus. There is no elevator, the stairs to the upper floors are steep, very inconvenient. The hotel is suitable for young and active tourists.

The hotel is sooo old, the shower room is already barely breathing, in need of renovation!!!The water is hot not from the water heater, but from the tank on the street, it is impossible to wash properly!!!There is an elevator, but it doesn't work!There is no refrigerator in the room, no safe either, the breakfasts are sooo modest, but you won't leave hungry, the location is good, the ocean is right across the street!In principle, a refrigerator was installed on request, but it did not work, they took it away, repaired it, and brought it. Cleaning on request, good. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and ready to solve problems.

We stayed for one night. Four stars because: there was no refrigerator in the room, I asked, they brought some kind of rusty and not working. The wine was eventually cooled with ice. There is no elevator. I had to stomp to the 4th floor on foot. Now for the good things: wonderful sea view, friendly staff, Wi-Fi in the room, clean and pretty good interior for Sri Lanka. I would also attribute the price to the disadvantages.
