One of the greatest impressions in Armenia came from visiting this fortress. Yes, this is not an Amberd in architecture, almost nothing remains of this fortress, but the views, the air, as well as the ascent itself on foot left an unforgettable impression. We walked an hour and a half to the fortress. The ascents may seem steep for unprepared tourists, but they are quite passable, because you are not walking along the path, but along the road. We had a 4-year-old child with us, part of the way passed by herself, part on her shoulders. Sports shoes, caps, water, sunscreen are required if in summer. There's nothing to do in the rain, that's for sure. At the exit from the road towards the fortress, there are locals on SUVs and can take them to the fortress and back. In rubles, a little more than 2 thousand. But if by car, then a huge part of the impressions will pass you by.
