We came to diagnose the turbine on a Chevrolet Malibu 2016, we were already ready to repair the turbine, because there was an oil burn of about a liter at 400 km, we were sure that it was due to the fact that there was an impeller backlash in the turbine, but sm turbo specialists performed a comprehensive diagnosis, even looked at the cylinders with an endoscope, although this was not part of the turbine diagnosis. They claimed that the reason was not the turbine, but the engine, since the first cylinder was covered in carbon deposits. I was very pleased with the service and the attitude towards the customer, they could have taken the turbine for repair, but did not do so, saying that the elevator was tolerable for a used turbine, for which you have great respect!!! We replaced the engine with a low-mileage rest engine and now there is no oil burner! Sm turbo is a professional, decent, customer-oriented organization. You won't be fooled here!
