During our trip to Baku, we visited many restaurants, both national cuisine and European cuisine. After reading the reviews about Societe, we decided to go to a restaurant for dinner. The stylish interior, magnificent views of the old town from the comfortable terrace, live music and a wide selection of dishes all fully match the description. But this institution has ruined its reputation with simply frankly terrible Lamb chops. It's been a long time since I've tasted such dry and overcooked mutton. Even the most delicious salads and excellent wine did not save the situation. The evening was blurred. They say Societe has wonderful and delicious breakfasts with stunning views, but the desire to check this fact has disappeared. I may be biased, but in my opinion, it is simply unacceptable to make such mistakes in restaurants of this level, especially when the hall is half empty. I don't know what kind of grill master there is, but the management definitely needs to draw the right conclusions and not let the restaurant lose its reputation because of someone else's mistakes.

And we were wrong to think that Société is an overrated tourist destination. We definitely recommend coming here! Risotto Polo-Fungi (14 ₼) – risotto with mushrooms and chicken, with spices soaked in wine. According to the classics, all this is sprinkled with parmesan. A very dense portion, the dish was served hot and in 10 minutes. – 🐔 Chicken breast in sweet and spicy sauce (15 ₼) - Served as fried pieces with Thai rice. The chicken breast is well cooked, not dry, seasoned enough, seasoned with barbecue sauce. Rice, reminiscent of local pilaf, cooked with a Mexican mixture, very tasty, suitable for chicken. – 🍹 Mai Tai (17 ₼) – served in a beautiful special glass, which adds +1 to insta points. It looks like a small cocktail, but in fact it was enough to sip all evening. The combination of ingredients in the cocktail is perfect. – 🍈 Feıjoa Sour (15 ₼) is a pleasant alcoholic cocktail, not too sweet, a little tart because of the taste of feijoa. Refreshing and uplifting :) To get to the restaurant, you need to take the elevator to the 5th floor from the hotel lobby.
