We went to Abkhazia with my wife, I started monitoring boarding houses, I wanted to be on the first line. There were hotels in Gagra, but there wasn't much greenery around. As a result, I found a boarding house: "Pine Grove", the hotel is surrounded by greenery, there are palm trees and pines and other exotic plants. I decide and buy a ticket for 7 days with three meals a day, according to the buffet system , On the first day, my wife was, to put it mildly, "surprised" by the room, but later, when the room was replaced, moving us to the 7th floor instead of the 3rd, life began to improve. The food in the dining room is excellent, I haven't eaten so much beef in the last 5 years, and everything is delicious and homemade. But the main thing is nature and the sea, there is no such thing anywhere on the Black Sea coast of Russia. In short, it's a great place if you're looking for a clear sea, a free beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, and silence.

A good boarding house, a family of 8 people went, everyone liked it. There is Parking, a large beautiful territory, the sea is close (clean, warm, small stone), an equipped beach with a canopy, umbrellas, sun beds, a cafe, a toilet. There are 2 small pools: an adult deep pool around the perimeter and a children's pool. We lived in the 2nd building in rooms with sea view 606 (double) 605 806 (triple two-room). There are 2 Moslift elevators in the building, they sometimes broke down or carried only 4 people out of 8 possible. There were also difficulties with power outages. Wi-fi works with minor interruptions, sometimes disconnected from the phone. Meals are served three times a day (1 hour), buffet. The dining room is divided into 2 shifts, each room has its own table. If necessary, you can eat in another shift, but at a reserve table. The food is not very varied, but there is something to take. You won't stay hungry. Fruits only for lunch (pears, peaches, oranges, apples). Delicious tea for dinner only (there is nothing to drink tea with at lunch). On Sundays, red wine is served for lunch instead of fruit. The rooms are not newly renovated, but in general everything is acceptable. There is a refrigerator, TV and air conditioning. Minuses: 1. We have never seen the pool cleaned, the sides are black. The water in the Jacuzzi has the consistency of jelly, which also requires frequent replacement and cleaning. 2. Room cleaning: no one cleans the balconies, cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, sinks, bathtubs and showers in the rooms have not been washed once during the entire stay, bed linen and towels are changed without a schedule, and at the request of the cleaner probably (correspondingly less often than stated). Floors are not cleaned every day either. Only garbage is consistently taken away. 3. Lack of kettles and tea utensils in the rooms. There is only one kettle for everyone at the reception on the 1st floor. Boil and pour into whatever you want, but in your own. At the same time, they swear in the dining room for taking out dishes, as there is a shortage there. 4. All mattresses need to be replaced. You lie down and fall into the holes you've been lying in. There are small thin mattresses on top of the big ones, which do not correct the situation in any way. 5. Minor nuances in the rooms: there are few outlets and everything is poorly secured, balconies are poorly closed because the windows are old; mosquitoes (! Take a fumigator with you). The two-room rooms have TV and air conditioning in only one room. The air conditioner is humming in 606, the refrigerator broke down during the next power outage (replaced with a new one on the same day), the toilet tank is malfunctioning (it does not collect water).

We just came from this boarding house . We are very satisfied with the rest . The room, the beach, the food - I liked everything. We bought up, got tired, and ate enough, and most importantly, we breathed enough. To make your vacation a success, you need to carefully listen to what the administrators say and carefully read the memo that is sent when paying for the contract. Then they will meet you and bring you, and it will be quite comfortable there. You also need not to get a little indignant, but to tune in to rest, and try to solve the problems that arise. The TV was not showing well, we approached, asked, and sent a master. He found that the maid had dislodged the antenna while cleaning. I fixed everything in 15 minutes . You can choose a book to read, preferably return it. We read the Strugatskys. They also asked for backgammon . Played. The maids asked for extra shampoo and toilet paper. They also asked for something in the dining room. They didn't refuse either. In general, only fast food lovers or those who put full plates on every time, try everything, overdo it and can't eat won't like the food. Of course, then the food will seem monotonous. I'm attaching a photo of one of our breakfasts. Before a trip, we always read reviews to adjust to the situation as much as possible. I'm writing too, maybe it will help someone. It's good to take cash with you. It is advisable to change it. On the territory you can buy delicious coffee, beer, wine and sea necessities. You can also pay by transfer, but then there should be a Wi-Fi (this is if you are in a boarding house or in a cafe), and in shops or at the market, if suddenly, cash is better. We didn't need the card. There are glasses and a decanter in the room, but there is no cup and kettle. Theoretically, you can bring a cup from the dining room, but you took your own. I regret that we did not take a boiler and a pilot for electrical connection. It was inconvenient to go for boiling water . But it's important to us, we love tea. Communication is very inconvenient . It is better to listen to the administrator, turn on the airplane mode, and connect to Wi-Fi. We liked shopping more on the territory of the boarding house. We didn't see much difference in prices. You can pay by wire transfer on the territory. The bathing shoes came in handy, thanks to the previous reviews. Towels and a hairdryer are provided in the rooms. You don 't need to drag it . There is no toothbrush . We need to take it . We read reviews about bad Internet, but we didn't take our tablet. That's why we watched TV shows on our phones on a rainy day. The Internet may be bad for remote work, but we watched TV shows. it was buggy a couple of times . The transfer is excellent. It was delivered through traffic jams . You would have been late for sure. and a big thank you to Maya Karlovna, her husband is delighted with her, he definitely asked her to mention it in the review. We will be happy to come again!
