I bought wine in a bottle of Khvanchkara from this store in the morning for 28 GEL. In the evening, I bought the same wine as a gift, but for some reason for 54 lari (?). There are prices on the shelf, it says 28 lari opposite, there is not a single wine for 54 lari on the entire shelf. There is only one 54 GEL premium wine in a box on the other shelf. We have a regular bottle, not in a box. We bought it, wondered why the price was so high, and wanted to make a refund. A pack of 6-7 people, store employees, rose up. Sometimes we looked at the wrong price, then we said that there was a morning discount, then we grabbed the bottle and put it on the shelf and took the receipt, the manager refused to refund, said go, then wait for the next day, then bring the morning receipt. We started shooting videos, the staff immediately hid, threatened that they would call the police if we didn't leave, and that we had no rights here at all. There was only one female employee who spoke Russian, she translated as best she could, and she also refused. They don't make a refund because they don't know how (or don't want to know), and they have to wait until tomorrow for the manager, then they sort of found out how, started asking for an I.D., we didn't give it, after a 30-minute dispute they finally returned the money, but waving their hands, laughing and saying something in another language speaking in our direction. They threw money, delete the video and leave the store. Terribly rude staff, disrespectful attitude towards tourists. This attitude has been noticed more than once in Batumi, although everything was fine in Tbilisi.
