We visited a Hindu temple for the first time.They took off their shoes at the gate. We passed through the gate, where above the entrance there is a six-level assembly of gods, very bright, with friendly faces.The temple is enclosed by a high wall with gates on the cardinal directions.We walked around the perimeter.Cult activities took place in every part of the temple.A fire was burning, prayers were repeated, hymns were sung, someone was meditating.There was a queue to worship the goddess Sri Mariamman.Someone was eating in the temple's "dining room"-plates right on the floor.Tradition.Everything is very bright, colorful, cheerful.
Probably, it is impossible to be discouraged , although life is harsh.
