Excellent majestic temple in the very center of Sofia. There are few tourists, there is a lot of space! It is especially magnificent at night, when the illumination is turned on. The temple can be reached by metro.

The most famous temple of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, was erected in memory of the Russian soldiers who fell in the battles for the liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke. the liberation of the country. Its golden domes are visible from afar. Initially, this temple was supposed to be built in Tarnovo, but a year later, in 1880, the People's Assembly of the II convocation decided to build a monument in Sofia
