An amazing and amazing place. The monastery was huge and majestic in its time. When I went to it, I did not even imagine that this mountain was the place of the heroic deed of St. Simeon Stylites of Divnogorets Jr. And then, a magnificent sonaster was built on this spot. The navigator led me through some back streets and barely found it. thank god! And when I went down to the village, it turned out that there were 4 active Orthodox churches of the Antiochian Patriarchate and about 2,000 Christians live there. It's amazing!

I'm thrilled!!! the air, the windmills, the view is simply mesmerizing, and when you also learn the whole history of this place.... Impressive!!! It really is a very wonderful mountain!!!
