I went to Gori, looked into Stalin's carriage, and did not regret it. This place evokes mixed feelings - both curiosity and the light heaviness of history. The car itself is interesting: the details are preserved inside, the atmosphere seems to have frozen in the middle of the twentieth century. Furniture, decoration, windows, everything is in the old place - you feel like a little witness to other people's destinies. It is unusual to see such a historical object as a living artifact. But the museum part around the carriage could have been better: there is little information about the context, about the people, about why it is in this form. I would like more photos, materials, and possibly audio stories to better understand what happened, how, and why. If you're interested in history, you should just stop by. This is not an entertainment attraction, but a reason to think.

Joseph Stalin's private railway carriage. The carriage was built before the revolution in St. Petersburg, armored, and weighs 83 tons. It was used by Stalin since 1941, including for trips to the Tehran and Yalta conferences.; the interior is decorated with mahogany; inside there is a kitchen, a compartment for the officer on duty, two compartments for accompanying persons, Stalin's private compartment and his bathroom, and a conference room. After Stalin's death, the carriage was located at the Rostov-on-Don railway station. In 1985, he was taken to Gori and given to the museum. In 2019, the carriage received the status of a movable monument of Georgia's cultural heritage.
