1. This small church is hidden in a quiet corner near the port. 2. It’s peaceful, clean, and full of light. 3. The architecture is modest but beautiful, with soft colors and a welcoming entrance. 4. Inside, you’ll find candles, icons, and a calm atmosphere for prayer. 5. Locals come here often, and tourists are always welcome. 6. It’s open during the day and easy to find if you walk from the seaside. 7. A lovely stop if you want a moment of silence or reflection. 8. No entrance fee, and photography is allowed respectfully. 9. The church is named after Saint Barbara, protector of sailors and those in danger. 10. It was commissioned by Emperor Alexander III in 1888 and opened in 1906. 11. A gentle, spiritual place in the heart of Batumi. 1. Тихая, светлая церковь рядом с портом. 2. Приятная атмосфера, иконы, свечи. 3. Открыта днём, вход свободный. 4. The good church. Sincere and nice. My wife and I were married here many, many years ago. Father Peter crowned us - "mamao Petre", a relatively young man then, in those early years, but a surprisingly wise and bright man.

There is a small old church 300 m from my house and near the Sheraton hotel. Right on Rustaveli, along the road. Being in Batumi, be sure to go to this saluted place to light a candle for the Health and Peace of your family and friends!
