While traveling in Belarus, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. We had a sooo delicious lunch. The staff is very attentive, served quickly and professionally. The place is atmospheric, I don't want to rush. We will be happy to come back if possible! I recommend.

The pancakes are great!
The hodgepodge is wonderful.
The pancakes and mochanka were cooked for about 40 minutes. All dishes are From under the knife.
The hall was free. It's a little dark in the hall, which I think is one of the disadvantages.
But on winter evenings, I'm sure, on the contrary, little artificial light adds comfort.

My assessment is not for the restaurant, but for the staff who work there. 7 years ago, we celebrated a wedding here, there were many guests, including from other countries, and everyone was very satisfied. But yesterday we were walking with a small child in the Gilibera park, we froze, we were asked to come in for a couple of minutes to warm up and go to the toilet, but they wouldn't let us in because there is special service in the restaurant. Minus your karma, do not let them go into the cold with the baby.

Coming in one day, it turned out that it was only by appointment. We arrived the next day after making an appointment.Of the six dishes, 4+ can only be served with cream mushroom soup, the rest is of course something...there was no sausage in the hodgepodge, but boiled cucumbers with a mountain.Salads, the first caesar is what they call it, 3- at best, the second salad, 3+ I don't remember the name.The third course is draniki with machanka, served in a pot (potato mash with chicken and sausages). The dish is, to put it mildly, so-so.

The restaurant is excellent, the interior is impressive, live music (from 19 to 21 hours saxophone, after 21 live performance, the repertoire is excellent). As for the kitchen, there are no words at all, all the guests are delighted.
-1 star for service: the staff appeared rarely, mainly when serving hot, to change the plates you had to ask, they asked you to leave the sauce that was sold with the salad - they took it away (since it goes to the salad and no one cared what the guests asked to leave).

We have been to the Old Lamus twice. In November 2022, at my sister's wedding and in February 2023, with friends, families rested. The restaurant liked the pleasant sound of the saxophone at the beginning of the evening, and a little later they danced to the pleasant voices of young musicians.
The portions of food are very large, the steak is well and deliciously cooked. I put 5 on the institution. With friends, we visit one institution every year, for the last 4 years, the Old Lamus, turned out to be the best in the city.

We came to Grodno for the first time as a family. Where should I go to eat in the evening? The choice fell on the "Old Lamus", the reviews of which were the most enthusiastic, and the dishes are not just delicious - "divine". We spent the whole dinner waiting for culinary bliss, but it never came to us:(
At first, we were alerted by the fact that after ordering a bottle of wine, by the way, not the cheapest, they brought it to us open, and did not open it in front of us, which is required by the rules. What they poured into the open bottle remained unknown to anyone. Throughout the dinner, I repeatedly asked my friends: "Are we sure we haven't got the wrong address? Is this the place we read the reviews about? Are you sure there's a god cook working here?" The child ordered freshly squeezed juice. They squeezed it out for 40 minutes or more. We have already eaten salads. In the salad with avocado, the latter was like a stone, it did not work out to chew it. The rest of the salads that we ordered were also not very sophisticated. The hot dishes turned out to be equally not tasty. I tried to find out from the waitress which meat dish would be the most delicious. The answer was brilliant, they say that both will be fried pork, take what you want. My choice fell on a pork tenderloin with chanterelles. Firstly, the meat turned out to be baked, not fried and did not look like a tenderloin at all. I really like chanterelles, they are always delicious. But what could be done with them so that they were like rubber, which I could hardly chew, I could not figure out. There was one leisurely waitress in the room, although there were three other banquets besides us. Bottom line: we failed to visit the culinary paradise, which is located right here, according to published reviews. Either the entire staff has changed, including the miracle chef, or the people who wrote the reviews have never tasted delicious food. You can't call the waitress we talked to responsive either. Therefore, I was left without tips - there was nothing to leave them for. I put one star, because it is impossible to put zero, although this option is also worth considering.

The work schedule is on weekdays until 18. The interior is interesting, but the general concept is like from the USSR (especially the toilets).
We accepted the order, with an empty hall, the food was cooked for more than an hour (there were 11 of us, but 5 children). They did not immediately warn about the cooking time, the children died as a result and the details of the brain. And they wanted to eat themselves.
This is a huge disadvantage.
But the food itself blocked everything (except for the refrigerator - there are problems with it, and they brought it right away, i.e. the reservation was made). The only cook who made the main dishes is God. We have never tasted such delicious Belarusian cuisine.

The meat itself was cooked more or less, but on top there were three chanterelles in a ointment. The assessment is satisfactory. A relative was served turkey in bacon with mozzarella. The turkey is dry, the bacon is not toasted. Garlic interrupts the whole taste. The assessment is satisfactory.
Bon Jovi, Bob Marley, Bob Dylan, in a row are playing in a place with a historical interior. Facepalm. He also screams like in a nightclub. There is no environment involving eating. The window sills are all covered in dust.
Oh, and no one warned us that there would be a banquet for 20 people.
