A harrowing story of multi-century exploitation of Uzbek people. Rebellions, wars, repressions. Over and over. It really touches your heart.

It is a very beautiful museum. The decoration is in oriental style, a lot of beautiful stucco and wooden carved decor. Inside there is an exhibition of repression against the local people by room. Starting from the Russian Empire, then the twenties and thirties of the USSR, then the forties and fifties and the so-called "Cotton business" in the 80s. The museum is small, but the space was used rationally. If you are not interested in history... Then this is a great place for a photo. Nearby there is a beautiful river, a bridge, a walking area, beautiful views of the TV tower. The ticket price is 25,000 thousand soums.
