In 2002, at the initiative of local priests, a sculpture of Jesus Christ was installed near the church. A smaller replica of the statue in Rio de Janeiro. By analogy with the Brazilian one, Christ has spread out His arms – embracing God. Since then, tourists have considered this statue to be the hallmark of the city.

This is certainly not Rio de Janeiro...(c) But! Definitely deserves attention. A neat original statue, you can take a picture and look at the city from some elevation.
