An amazing place with beautiful views. Admission is about 300 rubles. Huge territory, picturesque (but of course there are a lot of people on weekends). You can take a boat ride to the other end of the park (40 yuan). You can purchase guided tours, but there are enough impressions as it is. Locals take food with them and eat outdoors, and there is a small bazaar and local cafes within walking distance. The old summer palace is also nearby. A very pleasant place to relax.

The palace and park ensemble of the former summer residence of the Qing Dynasty emperors has been recognized as a masterpiece of Chinese landscape design, and since 1998 it has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to the Summer Palace, there are 3,000 buildings in the huge park, including bridges, pagodas, palaces, towers and pavilions with curved roofs, a lake and man-made hills. "Yiheyuan" also translates as "Garden of Peace and Harmony." Indeed, everything here is harmoniously connected with nature, it is full of charm. After all, what was created was supposed to please the emperor's eyes and give him a serene calm. It is known that the "Garden of Pure Ripples", as it was first called, was created by order of the Qianlong Emperor in 1750 as a gift for his mother's birthday. And in 1860, thanks to the Anglo-French military, who looted the residence, a fire broke out. The complex was revived at the expense of part of the funds for the creation of the Navy under the Dowager Empress Cixi and was named Yiheyuan. And in 1914, the park in northwest Beijing was opened to the public. We were taken there in the evening, and at dusk you can't really see much, the picture is not the same. And this is as much as 290 hectares, where there are so many interesting things that you can't cross, where the noise of a multi-million megacity is inaudible, and an inspection could take half a day. I wanted to see everything to the maximum, but I was also impressed by what I did. Bright flower beds, elegant gazebos, boats not devoid of elegance, a gracefully curved bridge with marble lions, even the stones along the paths look somehow picturesque - everything is embossed and beautiful. The park occupies one of the first places in the ranking of tourist attractions in China, and it deserves it.

I really liked it here! The view is amazing, especially the view of the water and the boats is fascinating if you climb higher))))Such peace fills you and you just can't take your eyes off... how beautifully and smoothly the boats and catamarans go. There are places where you can have a snack downstairs. You can rent a catamaran. See my photos and videos
