We are big fans of Crocs. And every season we update the models for children. This time, we bought a teenager a pair of Crocs clogs for a vacation trip. After the first day of wearing, the shoes changed shape — they began to shrink, and the child complained that they were chafing on the sides. As a result, they postponed it and decided to exchange or return the pair upon arrival. Fortunately, they managed to meet the 14 days required by law. The store was refused, citing the conclusion of the store manager: violation of the rules of operation. It turns out that Crocs cannot be worn in hot weather. That is, shoes positioned as summer shoes are actually not designed for normal summer conditions. If I were the store's management, I would oblige the managers to take the initiative — contact an official representative of Crocs, write to the head office if necessary, outline the problem and check whether such behavior of shoes is the norm. Now even the most inexperienced employee with minimal experience and basic skills can make a competent request. There are a lot of tools that allow you to do this in a matter of minutes in any language (ChatGPT and analogues to help). Even if the manufacturer had refused, the customer would at least have seen that the store had done everything possible to resolve the situation. As it is, there is only one negative customer and guaranteed negative reviews in his environment.
