Positive
+ The hotel is in close proximity to the main attractions
+ You can see the Blue Mosque from the window
+ A beautiful veranda where breakfast is served with a view of the sea
+ An adequate room with everything you need
+ Quiet, unless the neighbors are yelling, of course
+ Clean bed and room in general, good mattress
+ Availability of air conditioning
Minuses
- breakfast is one name, purely symbolic of the availability of food.
- we haven't changed towels once in a week
- a very steep spiral staircase, climbing with suitcases is very problematic
- the safe did not work, the hotel staff could not fix it
- if you live on the top floor, then breakfast is directly outside your door
- there were no animals or insects
Prices in the area are very expensive, because this is a historical center, get ready for this mentally. Also, from all sides, the Mule calls for prayer at 5 a.m. In general, the hotel can be considered, but be prepared for the fact that this is a place where you can just spend the night. I would not return here, it is better to live somewhere far away, where prices are more adequate.

We rented an apartment, it's next to the reception, 70 meters away, a separate building on the 3rd floor. There are nuances with the location, on the one hand it is a 5-minute walk to the historical center, on the other hand the railway does not often, but it knocks sensitively. The rooms are clean, the furniture is fresh, the mattresses are good, there is a kitchenette. We did not take breakfast, as the neighbors said: we are well done, the breakfasts are very poor. There are plenty of cafes nearby and there is a Sok chain store nearby, like a Magnet. Well, as always in Turkey, the shower cabin is leaking, towels were changed every other day. There is a TV, there are no Russian channels. I did not take a photo of the room, it corresponds to the one on the website

A great little hotel. Association with a homely atmosphere. I chose at random - by name. The area and the hotel are called Sultanahmet. I haven't read the reviews and I don't regret it. There will always be tourists who don't like everything. If you want to find yourself in the atmosphere of old Istanbul, then it is perfect. No frills, but nice and cozy. The staff is nice and helpful. If you treat people with soul and respect, then there will be an appropriate response to you) we were repeatedly offered to change our accessories and clean the room, but they only came to spend the night and there was no need for this. Upon check-in, we were offered a better room than we ordered for 2 with my daughter: space. room, sofa bed, 1.5 and 1-bedroom, bathroom.a table with a pouf, a kitchen, dishes, tiles, a kettle, a lunch table.and 2 chairs, cabinets, hair dryer, slippers, soap, shampoo, towels. When we came to breakfast in the morning, we were stunned by the view of the Bosphorus and Marble. the sea-ships and yachts-everything seemed to be within reach, in the distance a tower, under the window of the Constantinople excavation.the castle (reconstruction has begun)
