This place is worth visiting Abkhazia. Cozy, sincere, calm, beautiful (even very very beautiful). The hotel staff is hospitable - they will tell you everything, tell you everything, and always help. There is a cafe with very tasty cuisine on site (you can eat in the cafe and on the territory on the veranda, and you can order and pick up food in the room). Everything on site is made with love and thought out to the smallest detail. From the sea - 7 minutes on foot. Returning from the sea, you can buy fruits, vegetables, souvenirs and much more. Within walking distance. From the hotel there are waterfalls, a cave, and a monastery. Come here and you won't regret it. This is a really cool hotel!!!!!

Nice hotel. Everything is fine! Location, everything is close, and the sea, and cafes, and a waterfall, and a Monastery, and caves. 5-10 min walk.
We lived in two levels. There is a lot of space. Everything is fine. Cons, poor plumbing. Shower watering cans. The rest is normal.
The view from the balcony is simply stunning. In the interior, on the territory, there is a beautiful garden , next to a cafe.
We liked it. I recommend it!!

A very cool hotel. All employees, from management to staff, are responsible, pleasant and responsive. The hotel is very clean, all in greenery. The rooms are cleaned well, the bed linen is clean, white, ironed. Reading the previous reviews, I disagree. The mattresses are clean, spotless, and the pillows are soft. Everything is fine.

We came to rest in New Athos. We searched and booked a hotel in six months. The main criterion for choosing was a two-room room, I wanted the children to be separate. The first impression, when we first got to the hotel, was wonderful: the buildings look great from the outside, the yard is surrounded by greenery, fish swim in the fountain, cats purr under the bushes, chickens sit in pens ...
But you only have to go into the room... We had a "two-room suite". Firstly, it has never been a suite, and it is very conditionally two-room, nominally of course there are two rooms, but both of them are walk-throughs. There is a sofa in the first entrance room, it unfolds so that the sleeping places are on different levels. The sofa is dirty, the roll-out place is covered in terrible stains. There is an armchair in the same room, it is also being disassembled, being afraid of the sofa, they laid out an armchair, but it is faulty - the sleeping place cannot be made even in any way. There is a TV in this room, there is a table with a refrigerator hidden on the table, there is a small mirror and a properly working air conditioner. There is no locker or bedside table where you can put things.
There is a "double" bed in the second entrance room. We look at some bumps in the middle of the bed - and it turns out to be two single beds, stacked against each other, metal arcs protruding upwards, necessary to hold the single mattress were not filed down, they just threw the cheapest, softest mattress on top, naturally covered in dirty spots (no one has heard about mattress pads here). The pillows are also in terrible condition, everything is stained with yellow streaks of sweat, one pillow is feather-down, it looks the best, but it stinks so much that it is impossible to sleep on it. There is a small locker in the room, it is too small for four people with things for two weeks, but it could have been a whole shelf more if the hotel staff had not been too lazy to get two missing fasteners, or at least to stick screws into the holes and return the shelf lying just like that to its place. There are bedside tables on both sides of the bed, sconces hang, but for some reason there are no lampshades on them, in the evening there is more light from one such sconce than from a ceiling chandelier and it strongly hits the eyes. There is also an air conditioner here, but at first it completely refused to blow cool, and after the executions of the hotel employee it began to leak, then it worked, but in the end it flowed again. I would have liked not to turn it on, the nights were not so hot, and the fresh Abkhazian air is more pleasant, BUT! The air is completely poisoned by cigarette smoke. Our room was above the place where the owner sits or lies from morning to evening and, according to my feelings, smokes without interruption, plus all the other employees of the hotel smoke there. The windows of this room overlook a fairly busy road, there is a speed bump next to it, so the noise and rumble from moving this speed bump also prevented opening the windows at night.
In the bathroom, we were greeted by the persistent scent of sewage. The shower is designed so that there is no water lock, so it always stinks. There was a watering can and a rain shower in the shower, but the latter did not work at all, and there was no holder for the watering can. After our request, the shower was changed to a new one. Before the watering can was replaced, the rusted-through tropical shower fell off, it's good that not someone's head. The sink is all cracked and not too clean.
In general, things are bad here about cleanliness. Upon entering the room, of course, we took off our shoes, after five minutes we already regretted it - all the soles of our feet were in a thick layer of dust. After they asked the cleaner to wash it, it didn't get much better. They asked for a rag, cleaned themselves. Our underwear was changed only twice in two weeks. When we were not in the room, we were never cleaned. The cleaners have been avoiding us for the last four days and have not even offered to clean up.
A very beautiful territory is being monitored, but not everywhere, there are a lot of fallen berries under the vine, but apart from chickens flying out of the pen, no one is in a hurry to remove them from the floor, and chickens, like all birds, have a high metabolic rate, so soon the berries appear here in a new guise, but also in this form no one cleans them.
However, the location of the hotel is one of the best in Athos: not far from the sea, and close to the waterfall, and a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance.
P.S. There is also one strange feature - there is no full-length mirror in the room! However, such mirrors can be found in an outdoor cafe at almost every second table, apparently the owner cares about the figure of his guests: he tried on clothes, you want to know how they sit on you, run down from the third floor, you didn't like it - go up, change clothes, repeat the approach

Excellent hotel, polite and helpful staff. A very beautiful and well-groomed territory, all in flowers and greenery (for me for all 5 *), next to the cafe there is a small fountain in which live fish swim. The territory of the hotel is closed, including by a hedge, from strangers and from unnecessary noise. The girls in the cafe cook delicious and with a soul, special thanks to them. The hotel has 2 massage therapists-a great idea, you can relax and improve your body. I went to see Ekaterina (golden hands), a very good and experienced massage therapist, a master of his craft and just a good person.The room corresponds to the stardom, no frills, but everything you need is there, spacious, beautiful view from the window. There is a slight disadvantage-the lighting was a little dark for me, but it did not affect the overall impression. I bet 5❤. I recommend it. PS. the children did not want to leave the hotel and said that now we will only come here, this is a good indicator.

Great hotel! We lived in SVK from 30.06 to 6.07.24. We booked back in February from the tour operator, there was some kind of discount for early booking.
We lived on the 3rd floor in a four-bed room with a balcony. The view from the balcony to the mountains is amazing!
I really liked the hotel, beautiful territory, good location, close to the beach. There was cleaning every day, after 3 days the linen and towels were changed. The room had a kettle, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, and there was a room with ironing facilities nearby. There is always an administrator at the reception who helped to resolve issues. Special thanks for checking in earlier than it was in the contract. Sometimes we ordered food at the cafe, which is on site, very tasty porridge for breakfast, pancakes, also grilled salmon, khachapuri and shish kebab. In general, it is this hotel that I want to return to again!

We had a family vacation in July, a great hotel. I really liked it, it was cozy, beautiful, and there was a lot of vegetation on the territory. Special thanks to the staff, always friendly and sociable. Cleaning every day, there are no problems with changing linen and towels at all, well done. Before that, we were in Pitsunda and Gagra, but I really liked it here. There is a cafe on site, they cook very tasty, they even come from other hotels.You can sit in the hall, there are also tables outside, under the vineyard. The sights are within walking distance, you can walk. In the evening there is a place to walk, near a park and a waterfall. There is a playground on site, there are swings for adults and places where you can sit in the evening. In short, if you go to Abkhazia again, then only to SVK!!! The hotel is SUPER!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I really liked the territory of the hotel location. Friendly staff. friendly host put a lot of work and love into it!!!but unfortunately for 3 nights they did not change the towels, they asked to change them, they promised, but they did not do the room was on the 1st floor very cold and you need to wash not only the middle but also the corners, the bed and towels are gray, the mattress is terrible, the back just ate withstood 3 nights, it would not be bad to have a table with 2 chairs where you can drink tea in the room furniture the old refrigerator in the mold bathroom tiles on the walls have never been washed.

We have not stayed here for several days. I liked the territory and location of the hotel. Everything is nearby - the sea, the monastery, the caves, and the lake with swans) the very center of the main attractions of New Athos.

We had a rest in May 2023. The overall impression is very good. Among the advantages: the rooms correspond to the photos on the website; convenient location (as already mentioned earlier); well-groomed territory and a playground; the rooms are clean; cleaning is periodic (every two/ three days); the staff reacted quickly and adequately to comments / requests; everything you need in the room and on the balcony is (kettle, refrigerator, air conditioning, armchairs with a table on the balcony); private Parking; mountain views.
Of the cons: across the street there are two cafes that competed in the volume of music, on weekends it happened until one o'clock in the morning; if it's cold, then the heating is only air-conditioned - there is no floor heating or heater; a somewhat "tired" bathroom without ventilation - as a consequence, sometimes there was a smell of sewage, towels were dried only on the balcony; parking - the coating is ground, so after the rains it is necessary to get used to putting the car not in a puddle (I hope that this problem will be solved).

I did not eat, the mood to eat from such a waiter disappeared instantly, I asked for the bill, brought it, the bill was for 840 rubles, we put 1000 rubles. Suzana left with the money, we did not wait for the delivery of 140 rubles. It's not about 140 rubles, but about the waitress Susanna! We left, didn't say anything, called the administrator and so on, I didn't want to spoil my nerves further! Disgusting attitude towards people who come to this cafe! I didn't take pictures of Suzanne, although I should have! So that later the visitors of this cafe on the territory of the hotel would know what a bad, evil and ill-mannered person Suzana looks like.
There were only bad emotions after that. The owners of this institution, be careful when selecting such prostitutes!

The violinist is wonderful, the folk ensemble is amazing. Thanks to Vitaly Kashchimovich for such a wonderful atmosphere. Everything is done here to ensure that vacationers feel good. And a few words about the restaurant. Very tasty dishes. From the national cuisine, I recommend eggplant with nuts and khachapur on a skewer. The big plus is that food can be delivered to the room. It is very tasty to sit on the balcony and have dinner, admiring the view of the mountain and the New Athos Monastery.

Based on this, I decided to book a room at the "average" price tag for a couple of days in order to sort out what to do next on the spot.The rest in New Athos was planned for two weeks.We chose the SVK hotel, so to speak from the photo.Double standard - 5100 per day.Arrived at the place late in the evening, tired, plus I caught a cold on the plane and started to get sick (I felt bad)There was only one desire-to get into bed and sleep as soon as possible!A friendly young man met us, helped us to bring things to the room (room on the 3rd floor)But when he registered us for some reason for the booked 2 days, he charged us 10.600 (although the number on the website is 5100)!But I was not up to the showdown, I did not immediately realize that they were taking more.When we turned on the light in the room, everything was basically as in the photo on the website, only the bed linen was gray, washed to the limit.The blankets were also once white, they were not very white, stained, of a strange color.In general, it was unpleasant, but there was nowhere to go.The plumbing in the room is very "tired".Cobwebs hang in the corners, the curtain is faded, the toilet smells of sewage, although there was an air freshener available.There were also one-time shampoo and shower gel, but there was no toothbrush and paste. The room was cleaned while we lived for 4 days twice, But the maid warned us that she was alone for the whole complex and if you need something, you can contact her. For two days I lay like a rag (with a fever), on the third day we went to look for another hotel, since the room in which we lived in SVK does not pull much at 5100 per day! We found a suitable room in a nearby hotel, with a more or less fresh room and a white bed.And there is also a swimming pool on the territory of our new hotel.And the price for the room is much lower.We lived there until the end of the vacation.But there were also positive moments.Very beautiful, green, well-groomed territory of the hotel.Very polite, attentive staff. But the owner would like to wish to pay more attention to such little things as linen and towels in the rooms.And probably while this is the situation with plumbing, reconsider the price tag. We are very glad that we came here, we are satisfied with everything and room service (daily cleaning, linen change in 5 days) (the room has everything you need for everyday life:dishes, kettle, hair dryer, toilet paper) and kitchen (prices are reasonable, not cheaper nor much more expensive than in other cafes, delicious) girls, employees are great smart guys, always meet the wishes! There is Parking and a car wash (the young man who washes our cars is a hard worker, meticulous and very serious about the case)), the administrators are very responsive, they will help with any question. The territory of the hotel is beyond praise, the only hotel in Athos that is drowned in flowers! We rested with our family in this hotel, we really liked it, one of the best in Athos, conveniently located, beautiful territory, parking, car wash, cafe with local cuisine, reasonable prices, good service, polite staff, we took a two-room room on the 3rd floor, very convenient, mountain view, plus 2 balconies, hot water constantly, burka, change of bed linen, garbage removal, I will note Ilya separately, then he was the hotel administrator - any question and request were resolved instantly, customer orientation was super 👋🏻 And it was out of season ☝🏻 special thanks to the owner, it is clear that he personally deals with the hotel and invests in it to the maximum! I definitely recommend it to everyone!

This is the best hotel in New Athos. There are no places until the end of September. Impeccable service. Beauty. Musical evenings. restaurant. Landscaped area.
We lived in a cottage, which is very convenient. Own kitchen and gazebo. This is paradise.
But also in the common area there is an opportunity to cook in a shared kitchen.
Summer bookings start in February.
Look for a vacation, so as not to regret, choose SVK.

We were immediately given a decent-looking room, and after spending the night we found that condensation was gathering heavily on the walls and floor and by morning there was practically a pool on the floor. We changed the number, it didn't happen anymore.

The hotel is ordinary, not cheap. There is a private parking.
Cafe - I recommend branded khachapuri on a spit, grilled cheese for cheese lovers.
Delicious homemade wine (semi-sweet).
In good weather, the summer veranda is a great place to eat.
On the downside, the waiter may forget about you. When there are other visitors waiting long enough for an order. There are other nuances, but just be careful here and everything will be OK.

They can be brought to the room (room-service)) The territory, however, is pretty and quite spacious. The word will not turn to say: neither the staff nor the owner. Probably so: the welcoming party made our vacation as much as possible. There were uncomfortable moments, but it was necessary to turn on and understand. This is the specifics of Abkhazia. Maybe we were just unlucky with the number. Last time in March, we didn't feel the cold. We had a rest in May at this hotel in New Athos..everything is great, if you don't find fault with the little things..The hotel is in a very good location, close to many attractions.The hotel itself is beautiful, the courtyard is generally super.The room has a balcony, everything you need is in the room, a kettle, a decanter,glasses, a hairdryer. the bed is comfortable, despite being made of two.they took out the trash every day.on the territory of the cafe, they cook delicious.We ate a couple of times, but it was expensive..I recommend the hotel!Cozy, beautiful and convenient location!The staff is friendly.
