It seems like the place is normal, and the food is more or less, but overall only 3 stars. Draniki are tastier in tempo, the choice of dishes is not very large, with low occupancy, the waiter had to catch or wait every time, and another disadvantage is very high prices for alcohol. A glass of wine 125ml 16p is kind of expensive)). I will say right away that the tempo is not far from them ... 100 times more pleasant and the dishes and the choice and the prices of alcohol.

I visit Minsk on business trips, I often have lunch here. I got to the restaurant "Svoi" for the first time. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Despite the fact that I often have to dine in restaurants, I prefer homemade food, as my deep conviction is that it is very rarely delicious in restaurants. Thanks a lot to the chefs and the person responsible for the purchase of products, and, apparently, to the managers and management! A complete disappointment. We have planned a dinner at this restaurant. I liked the location and interior design. That's where the pros ended. Purposefully booked a certain table, which in the end we never got. When asked why we can't sit at the reserved table, we didn't get a clear comment. We were seated at an empty table, not far from the entrance, where the wind was constantly blowing, and we had to put jackets on our shoulders. Then we made an order. Drinks were waiting for almost half an hour, which eventually brought also warm (tinctures). The bartender is in no hurry to do his job, but he does not forget to chat with the waiter. They also ordered shingles and pork. If the shingles could still be eaten, although they were burnt at the edges strongly, then pork is just sad - tough, with veins, it was impossible to chew it, the meat is not fragrant. There was an impression that the cooks were not professionals. The service and quality of the dishes leaves much to be desired.

We decided to visit the restaurant on 23.04.24. We ordered borscht, pancakes, steak and desserts with tea. We managed to try a couple of spoons of borscht and tea, as a cockroach was found in the borscht! We immediately warned the waiter and said that we no longer needed to carry other dishes.
Dinner was ruined.
In general, acquaintance with the restaurant failed, I do not recommend it. I had to move to the old and good network of Belarusian cuisine, and continue the dinner there.

Traditional cuisine, but to be honest, I was not impressed at all. Maybe we were so unlucky with the change of chefs. And the dishes had to wait almost an hour. We were a group of six people, four of them didn't really like the food. The advantages are a pleasant interior, no queues at the entrance, polite waiters.

We ordered cheeks in a frying pan, this dish turned out to be delicious, but the Meat is pork neck with potatoes, terribly tough and over-dried and not a neck (it was also cooked for more than 40 minutes. When they said that it was impossible to eat it, the waiter took it away, the Kitchen's answer was that they would redo the dish in 15 minutes. It is not entirely clear how such a time difference is possible for the same dish.
The remade dish was delicious!
But we wouldn't go to this place anymore.

We came with a friend, they gave us only the main menu, we had to ask for lunch.I ordered pumpkin cream soup and fillet with mashed potatoes. The fillet was tough for both of them.Cockroaches were running on two window sills, they did not tell the waiter so as not to embarrass him, they paid for lunch, left 10p with the waiter, he did not thank him, but simply left without emotion without taking the bill and "gratitude" My surprise was in the morning before work, to sit on a white friend for enough time to make sure that this is a consequence of pumpkin cream soup..
Conclusion:
- the main menu without lunch (because there are more options that will be ordered for a large amount)
- at the expense of 40p, we left more than 20% of the tea, because we appreciate any service, but we did not think that it would be so ungrateful
- cockroaches on two window sills, there's nothing to talk about
- and corona poisoning (taking into account that for the whole day I had a meal only in your institution and in the morning a couple of boiled eggs, they definitely can not be poisoned)
I often visit different establishments and am always courteous and leave tea, but I'm sorry, I haven't seen such a "combo" of everything together anywhere

Well, what can I say... We came to celebrate Mom's birthday, we wanted to have a delicious lunch, but it didn't work out. A salad of pears and garganzola is one name, cheese had to be tried very hard to find, a mixture of salads turned out to be not fresh at all, pancakes, one name, they could be hammered into nails. A birthday promotion, a cake from the institution for the company as a gift, these are generally tears. They brought one piece of carrot cake, which cannot be called carrot cake, except that there were pieces of carrots in the cakes. The service seemed fine, but 3 tables were occupied in the restaurant, and the waiter had to wait a very long time, take the order, remove the plates and even pay the bill. For such a high-profile status as a restaurant, this is too much. I do not recommend it to anyone! And the prices don't match the quality of the food! I am attaching a photo of the cake as a gift for the company.

Good day! I want to tell you about the restaurant "SVOI", which is located in the very heart of Minsk! The restaurant itself has an extremely convenient location, as it takes on a large flow of tourists who spend time walking around the city! I was just such a tourist! I will begin my story that the restaurant is located in the same building as "FRIDAYS" and going inside, I thought for a long time where should I go. However, I trusted the menu of home cooking, as well as the estimates of other visitors to this institution! I want to say right away that the prices are above average, lunch for two came out at 3,200 rubles! The interior of the restaurant is a cozy homely atmosphere and perfectly fits the menu of the institution! The restaurant is clean and tidy, the staff is dressed neatly and very pleasant to communicate with! The range of dishes is great, but the dishes themselves do not directly differ in "interesting presentation" or "unique taste", and therefore the price of these dishes is too high! I took a "Frying pan with meat" and "Lavash with suluguni" for myself, I'll start with a "Frying pan". The dish itself is served in a small frying pan and has the filling of a table snack - salted tomatoes, cucumbers, sausage, rustic potatoes and a couple more ordinary household products! The dish is NOT WHOLE!! And, therefore, it is already coming, not as a full-fledged dish, but as an APPETIZER for beer! I really regretted that I did not take a beer, as it was not very pleasant to eat! The potatoes are fresh, the sauce is served for a separate price! Meat is like meat! The sausage is just terrible, I will do the same on kebabs at my dacha, having bought it at the local Magnet. Cucumbers and tomatoes, thank God, are fresh, although who knows, they are still salted… Speaking of the second dish, namely "Lavash with suluguni and berry sauce", I want to say the following. The portion is small, the pita bread is hard! BUT suluguni himself is very good! Delicious and viscous according to all the canons! The combination with berry sauce for an amateur, I personally did not like it, but I will not take off the star for this! I want to note that the staff of the institution is very good! All claims were accepted with joy, writing everything down on a piece of paper and handing it to the cook! My companion ordered pancakes for herself and how pleased we were that the local pancakes did not contain eggs! And, therefore, people who are allergic to this product will be able to try this dish of national cuisine! According to the companion, the pancakes were worth the money! And they were very tasty! Speaking of service time, they talk and serve quickly! So you won't waste much time! I want to talk about the toilet room separately! The toilet is located in the basement and there are no comments on it! It is cleaned, it does not stink, but there is a very big MINUS! The toilet sink is very uncomfortable! It is small and has a rectangular shape! People with big hands turn on ONLY a weak pressure, otherwise you risk flooding the entire toilet and your clothes! In general, the restaurant is not bad, but it was not worth the money... I hope the dishes will be recycled and the sink in the toilet will be replaced… That's it, come and try it! Listen up!

In total, the draniki are hot (thank you), and the gravy and mushrooms to them are cold)) apparently they made the gravy a long time ago and it stood and cooled down

I join the comments below, the most tasteless food in Minsk that I have ever tasted. Wasted money. I took borscht, it even seemed that its broth tasted musty. Compared to other places, it's just water, no verified taste of soup. The chicken pancakes looked like generous duds in the dining room, plus the chicken itself and the gravy turned out to be cold. If you think that it is already impossible to spoil the tea, then there is a surprise. I have never tasted such chymosine anywhere! I think I even have mucosal irritation. Black tea turned out to be poison for me.
My recommendation is to refrain from visiting the place.

We were in this restaurant on 07/23/2023. I want to note right away that the service was normal, there are no complaints personally to the waiter. We took a table on the veranda - we regretted it, it was very noisy from the road, the music was also very loud, which was inaudible to the interlocutor. The waiting time for the dish is 40 minutes. We ordered 2 hot pans (meat, potatoes, etc. for adults, pancakes with an apple for a child). 20 minutes after ordering, they reported that pancakes with apple were waiting for a very long time, which is better to order with cottage cheese. All the dishes were very mediocre. The pans in which the dishes are served (and supposedly the dishes are not hot), respectively, the conclusion is that the dish is not baked in a frying pan, but only served in it. So the atmosphere is so-so (noise from the road); and the kitchen, and the speed of service is weak. I do not recommend it.
