A very cool place for lunch or dinner. Helpful staff. The quality of the dishes is excellent. Everything is made in the national style, which creates a special atmosphere. The assortment may seem small, but according to the menu, it feels like the recipes for cooking specific dishes are well-developed by the kitchen and no gastroexperiments are performed on visitors. A cozy atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant when visiting Gomel!

The downside is that you can write down the menu, only the names of the dishes, the weight of the portion and the price are indicated. The waitress had to tell her for a long time what is what and how the draniki differ from the turds and sorcerers. I was disappointed by the lack of photos of ready meals and layouts of products in portions. As a result, they ordered an exorbitant amount, could not cope, and packed extra portions for the road ... :) The general impression is that a repeat visit is quite possible.

But that time limit is sad. Apparently, you need to book a table very much in advance to sit as long as you want and while you finish your meal. It's good that you can take it with you, since the portions are very large, we didn't know, and in the end we couldn't eat much, even though there were 6 of us) minus a star only during the waiting time for the order, taking into account that we had only 3 hours to sit…

Solid 4+!
This is the most delicious borscht that we have tried. The pancakes are great, very satisfying. There were some tired potatoes in the pan. The tinctures are strong.
Service: the staff is polite and pleasant. The waiters lack a little knowledge of the menu regarding certificates.

I've always liked cooking, but this time the luck and cooking have changed. Cheese was added on top and the taste of the dranik itself changed for the worse. The potatoes under the cheese became faded. Changing the recipe has affected the very essence of this dish. This used to be a delicious snack from a dranik. I advise you to return this dish to its original taste or make it with cheese as an independent dish. And the dranik was bland, not salted. I recommend this cafe and hope that the chef will take these wishes into account.

A gorgeous, colorful place! Convenient location, in the very center of the city, beautiful interior, supports the theme of the institution.
The restaurant of Belarusian cuisine, pancakes are just a delight, borscht with bacon, delicious meat dishes, wonderful salads and soups.
Based on the reviews, we chose this restaurant and did not lose! The girls are all friendly and open, the service is excellent! Everything is clean and tidy!

We were passing through Gomel in May 2024, had lunch - we chose the Syabry restaurant based on excellent ratings and reviews on the Internet. In fact, a small restaurant with basement lighting, a waiter came up to us, her shaved mustache immediately caught our eye, rather irritably and impolitely accepted our order - a hot dish and salad, as a result we waited for him for MORE THAN an HOUR!!! although we were on a weekday in the daytime, there were few visitors, never in any catering establishment, I did not wait for my order for so long!!! An hour later, they brought us dishes that we hadn't even finished, everything was bland and tasteless, the prices were above average, it's not clear just for what?? From now on, we will bypass this institution.

I reset my positive review with 8.6 thousand views and give 1 star with a great stretch.
The hotel booked a table for us at the beginning of the week, we are not local ourselves.
And it was on Friday. On that very dank day (or rather evening) with a scorching wind, sleet and a car collapse.
Why am I writing all this?
To understand the further situation.
On Friday, the restaurant called the hotel and clarified our reservation. Everything was in force. We were delayed by a taxi for a few minutes due to bad weather. And at 19-02 we saw a girl sitting at our table and sipping a beer. The glass was full, even the foam did not have time to fall off, which meant that she was at our table before us.
Then everything is in a fog ....
For some reason, the administrator asked us to understand her and wait on the sofa (this is the one opposite the toilet) for literally 1 hour, when the nearest table is available. That's how guests are treated here.
And who will understand us? Our reservation is valid, we are in #place #without# place, the restaurant is sold out, however, as everywhere in the city (Friday evening), there is sleet and wind outside. It's a pretty good prospect.
Under other conditions and good weather, we would have left without hesitation. But...
Breathing in fresh air on the street, realizing that the situation is archaic, but I want to eat. They're back. For half an hour we were entertained at the bar with bonuses from the institution in the form of liqueurs and coffee. Fortunately, the next table was vacant, perhaps his guests heard our displeasure and hurried to finish their meal.
The kitchen worked quickly, but not efficiently. The pancakes with chicken in mushroom sauce had burnt sides. The taste of burnt oil haunted me the next day. Vereshchaka modestly fit on half of the pan. Previously, this dish was served to us on a high stand and it was 2 times larger. One of the pieces of meat was carbonate and difficult to reproduce. Syabrovsky salad, which the administrator recommended to us by the way, is generally difficult to call a salad. Just pieces of 3 types of meat, dry, a few mushrooms, they probably forgot to put onions in general, the dressing was not felt and did not combine the ingredients, the poached egg was overcooked, which did not even spread. The salad is full of dried meat. I didn't like the word at all. There was also a vegetable plate, they couldn't spoil it. We ordered a carrot cake for coffee. For some reason, it has black (and not orange) cakes, it tastes nice.
We ate in an hour. Without pleasure, just because it is necessary. There was no desire and strength to express dissatisfaction with what he saw and ate.
Neither apologies, bonuses, nor even a 20% discount have changed our opinion.
We were not greeted in a friendly way.
The Sabra restaurant is no longer a sabra for us.

A wonderful restaurant of Belarusian cuisine to eat deliciously with a small company. There is a separate room behind a curtain for a company of about 6-8 people. In summer there is a terrace, which is a little far from the road, so that the exhaust from cars is not felt. For a large company, they put tables in the common room, which is not very convenient. The music is background, you can't dance.
Of the minuses - during our visit there was a banquet for 15-20 people. We had to wait a very long time for a hot order (about an hour), which we were warned about. We ordered beer and ice cream for dessert. Ivo was brought right away, but they forgot about the ice cream, I had to remind them after 30 minutes.
